Yobit is total shit noobs ) you need ballz to use it.

Whatever your "balls" are made, the support of the pure-Chinese exchanges will crush them upon the wall. Great Wall. Grin

Ive been seeing alot of people saying its scam and then other people saying its not.
So before i want to deposit anything to this exchange i want to know is it real do withdrawls work or does it take like really really long?
Please tell your experience,

Kind regards

I had been using yobit for 10 months, and by that period of time up to now I don't see any problem like what others always says that yobit is a scam. It maybe Yobit accepting new altcoin to their exchange and they don't care if that coins is a scummy or not but not the yobit itself is doing scam to the traders. because if that is true, perhaps yobit now is not existing anymore.

Use Poloniex... Ten times better, trust me.

It felt to me like I moved from hell to paradise when I moved from Yobit to Poloniex.
Ive been laughing when I do read your comment at its really real talk pal the experience between both exchange is really far from each other and you will surely feel the difference when you both tried the exchange. Support is very important which you can really say the difference because yobit doesn't ever responds to its users while poloniex is very active and it terms of service poloniex still number one for me.

Rumors about yobit lasts as yobit itself, I pointed that more then once. Since I was in their campaign for month or maximum two, there I encountered with trading for the first time. They can be offline, their support need days and weeks to respond, delay in paying for campaing (blue button doesn`t work is most repetead sentence in their thread), their dices are rigged 100% , in scam accusation section many topics are about yobit but they are still here, how to explain that?
I moved to poloniex, now I trade there, much safer place, and more positive then negative feedback what is important.

Yobit brands itself as a currency exchange service, but it won't let you withdraw certain types of currencies after you've purchased them, without any prior warning of this being the case.

So you're stuck with keeping your freshly bought alt currency on their servers (which defeats the very purpose of a cryptocurrency), or you gotta exchange it back to BTC in order to withdraw it (which defeats the purpose of using the exchange in the first place).

I signed up to Yobit today as I saw the price was very good for Decred, and I believe Decred will grow significantly prior to tomorrow's v1.0 launch. My bad I haven't read the reviews here beforehand.

After I bought my DCR on Yobit, I found out I cannot withdraw them (as the withdrawal for this coin was "temporarily off"). Great. So I'm opening a support ticket. I start searching this forum to get a feeling of how reliable this exchange proved to be in the past, and I hear people saying they have unanswered support tickets dating months back. Other people claim they've been scammed.

Well then, I'm just gonna buy back BTC and withdraw from Yobit. As soon as I placed the order, the bots took over and the price instantly decreased massively, without my order being executed. Awesome. All in all, I lost 15% before getting my BTC back from Yobit.

You've been warned.

Support is sleeping... for days )

This is a common issue with yobit. I've seen this many times with many coins. If you pay probably they could sink back again....

Support is very slow, and sometimes it will never answer your questions. I have pending support tickets since a lot of months.

This is scandalous.

So Yobit is down again? Can someone please tell me if they have an official thread here in bitcointalk?

For me it's working fine. Sometimes the site stop working and back after. They look to be having some issues with site stability.

Just back some time later and try to access Yobit again and you will be able to do it.

yobit has worst support i have ever met, also many of alt coin wallets have withdraw problems often, but no one isnot fixing them. also i am 98% sure their dice game isnot fair, so you must decide yourself, is this site scam or not and  does it worst to use youbit

good luck

I too think yobit cannot be completely termed as scam, just that they have very poor custom support as I have experienced and I heard it many times from other users here. One other problem is that their service is constantly down all the times, even today I found it down. Hope, they will resolve this issue sooner.

I agree, quite a few of the exchanges don't have great support either - Yobit hasn't run off with anybodies money, so can't be classified directly as a scam - a lot of the coins that are hosted on the site can be classed as scammy. Make sure you carefully research before investing in a coin on there that you've never heard of. Lots of profits can be made - but the same also goes for losses...

Yes it seems that yobit.net and yobit.io are just the same and there is no phishing at all. Maybe yobit is just trying to back up their files.

And it went successfully so for those people who are doubting about this, don't contact their support, you'll just going to become old while waiting their help.

The answer is already here, they are both legit sites of yobit.

well the running away part always happens once and when it happens it is already too late. do you think Cryptcy was a scam. you can check the old topics about them and see how much people trusted them and were using their site but they did run away once and for all!

besides there are surely some shady stuff and so many data manipulation are going on with Yobit and you can't deny it.
all I say is that why trust Yobit while there are other better places exist!

IMO Cryptsy wasn't intended to be a scam - it just became one by not being as secure as it should have been and BigVern being dishonest when the finds were stolen (Bitfinex did a much better job at being transparent). This is the trouble with unregulated and non PCI compliant exchanges. The only exchange I know of which is PCI complaint is CEX.IO - and they have limits to their trading imposed that make it difficult to trade.

I have some funds in Yobit, but 100% of which gained from the sig campaign. I tend to transfer around 50% out into other exchanges or private storage.
