Jesus' support for the rules of the old testament: Mark 7:10, Luke 16:17, Matthew 5:18-19
You can read Romans 3:19

I'm not sure how that invalidates all the other verses that support it. Care to explain?

Support for slavery: Colossians 3:22, Luke 12:47-48
Have you heard about Ayyub who treated his slaves like him as human?

It's nice that he did that, but better still would be not to have slaves. And for Jesus and others not to endorse slavery directly, as they did.

On women: Colossians 3:18, 1 Corinthians 14:34-35, 1 Timothy 2:11-15
You should read the verses fully, don't just take one verse which its actually related to next verses. And since its begin to off-topic, then you can ask your priest about it next sunday Wink

Like I said, I don't have one. And yes, the verses do relate to one another but you omitted the part where you mention how that is supposed to invalidate what I said. In this case, what I said is that according to the bible women are to be treated as second class people. The verses I posted and many others seem to say that explicitly.

May be. But I really believe that there is a tacit understanding between the ISIS and the Israelis. The reasons are:

1. ISIS hasn't attacked the Israelis till now.
2. Israelis have bombed the Syrian Army positions, in areas where they were fighting the ISIS. This indirectly helped the Islamic State to conquer these locations.
3. Israelis have shot down a number of Syrian Air Force fighter jets, inside the Syrian borders. All of these jets were shot down in regions where the Syrian Armed Forces are engaged in active combat with the ISIS.
Your theories seems reasonable. Then we only can wait what will be happened laters

I think ISIS are 'clever'. They know that they haven't ready to attack Israel for now.

You can't ignore that those are there too. Jesus makes it clear that the laws of the old testament are still valid for one. Like killing your child if she disobeys you. As for slavery for example, he doesn't oppose it. Anywhere that I know of. Even though he had plenty of opportunity to. Slaves, or servants as the English translation of the bible calls them, are even told to obey their masters as they would god or Christ. Women are told to be submissive to their husbands as to god. They aren't allowed to teach or have any authority over men. In fact men touching women are considered to be defiling themselves. There's a lot of ugly stuff in there.
Can you tell me the verses?

They aren't very hard to find if you search. But a few quick examples:

Jesus' support for the rules of the old testament: Mark 7:10, Luke 16:17, Matthew 5:18-19
Support for slavery: Colossians 3:22, Luke 12:47-48

I have my doubts. Why is the ISIS refraining from attacking Israel?
I think ISIS are 'clever'. They know that they haven't ready to attack Israel for now.

I don’t care what Abraham or Jesus or Mohammed said. But the fact is that their followers do try to increase the number of adherents by any means possible.
From your words, then I conclude that their followers are misinterpreting Abraham doctrines.

I'm not a religious person. I don't believe in any of it. But those bad parts aren't there only to tell people about the conditions in antiquity. Many are guidelines on how you should live your life. If you're Christian, you have a lot of bad parts in the new testament for example: slavery, murder, oppression of women, revenge, etc, etc.
Then do you think in new testament Jesus teach us to do murder, slavery, etc.?

What if Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is a puppet obeying the orders of CIA and Mossad?
Do you really believe they are behind ISIS?

No. If you study the Abrahamic religions closely, then you can find that the ultimate aim is to increase the number of adherents by any means possible. The tactics which are currently being employed by the Islamic State does have eerie resemblance to the same employed by the Spanish conquistadors, when they discovered the Americas. Why go back to the 15th century? The Christian terrorist organization New Tribes Mission uses similar tactics even now, to get new converts.

I didn't focus on the bad parts only. What I said is those books have both good and bad parts. Most people ignore the parts they don't like and go along with what they do like. Fanatics are no different. They just pick the other parts to justify their actions. But I still think most of their actions are based on the situations they're in, not religion itself.
I don't think they ignore it. In my opinion, the bad part was made in holy book to tell us the conditions in ancient age, which it was be solved by a prophet then. I'm curious, what is your religion? And can you tell me what the bad parts in your holy book?

Fanatics are religious people who misinterpreted what the religion is.

I think they are cruelest than Hitler, Stalin, and Pol Pot combined.

ISIS is awful but they are not on par with any of these individuals, let alone combined.

If you go by the holy books of Islam or Christianity, no they don't teach us to live peacefully. You have beautiful parts there, where you could get that message. But you also have parts where it says you should kill or enslave everyone that disagrees with your religion. As for the fanatics, I think religion is often only a cover they use. Consciously or otherwise. The root of the problem is political and economical.

I think you just focused on kill and slave parts in holy book. So, in your opinion, what should religion teach us then? Fanatics are religious people who misinterpreted what the religion is. They don't have any intention to kill, they just want to obey God rules in their ways. But, there were some retarded people who ruined religion and make terrorist actions in the world.

ISIS is not Islamic confirmed. Islam is the religion of peace. ISIS maybe have to do with Illuminati.

Not only Islam, but also other religions, such as Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism, Shintoism, Bahaism and Sikhism call themselves as the religions of peace. But from my experience, a religion can't bring peace or prosperity to anywhere in the world. Religion has killed more people in the history of humankind, than any other ideology or catastrophe.

Religion can't kill someone. Its the people. Its the humans.

I think all of religions teach us to live peacefully. The problem is, there were some religious people became radicals because they did misinterpretations in their religions, or maybe they became a fanatic, and assume that other religions is wrong.
