Are your loans interest-free? I am under the impression that interests are not Sharia compliant.

They are also not compliant with the bible but that has never stopped anyone.

@spazzdla: Muslims take things way more serious tho.

Just getting into this section of the board but this whole thread seems ridiculous.
I'm somewhat interested in theology and would like to know how real banks in Iran or wherever handle loans. There's supposed to be no interest. Calling it a "tip" is exactly the same.

Do we have a practicing muslim here that might want to explain?

If you have money in my LTC why should I give it as collateral. I would use him cash. There is no logic in it.

There is no logic in posting in this thread either. Yet somehow you managed to necro this even though OP hasnt been seen for weeks.

The point of collateral is that you need to offer some sort of security. This can be stable alt-coins, but also physical goods. Physical goods are usually difficult to transfer though.
Think about something that is worth ~100-150% of what you want to borrow, can easily transported to the lender and easily sold by the same. This would be your collateral.

I would like to ask for a micro-loan of 1 bitcoin. I can pay this back in 30 days. Where are you located? I can send you an iPhone in the mail as collateral. It's an iPhone 4. Are you located in the US?
Not accepting iPhone as collateral only accepting alt coins for this purpose if you can give these then post here otherwise just waste of time try to arrange some other place mean friends or family its better
