So... Because 3% of the talk time is given to people whose main occupation is not Bitcoin and who may have a slightly different perspective, the conference totally sucks. Interesting logic.

Meanwhile, I don't mind the free bumps.

Again with the straw man, again with the logical fallacies. Instead of addressing my points you completely ignore them and make my claim seem to be something which it isn't.

Inviting those thieving degenerates is like inviting a Nazi to give a speech at gay pride.

Enjoy your free bumps.

Yay, the trolls are here!

Who would pay 500 bucks to hear a bunch of lying schmucks patting each other on the back?
It's $270 currently, not $500. Speakers are well-known Bitcoin experts, researchers and entrepreneurs.

You've actually got Tamar Zandberg the leftist, socialist, feminist Knesset member attending as well as Dr. Edward Aufnbenher of Bank of Israel. These are the very people that drove Israel to it's knees and you've invited them, they don't belong in the conference, all the invited members are psuedointellectuals at best trying to cannibalize the movement.
You may not like their opinions, but being in positions of power they are able to affect the course of Bitcoin, it is important to educate them and to hear what they have to say.

How safe it travel in and around Tel Aviv these days? I planned a trip there in 2012 and had to cancel because a bomb exploded on a public bus in downtown Tel Aviv, causing several injuries and long-range rockets launched from Gaza reached as far north as Tel Aviv and southern Jerusalem. Israel has been on my bucket list for a long time and this would give me an excuse to go. Well this and Baha’i Gardens in Haifa, the mountain fortress of Masada etc.
It's safe. Before your post I barely remembered there's such a thing as terrorist attacks. I don't think there were any attacks in Tel Aviv after the one you mentioned.

It's important to educate them not let them preach at our conference!

Straw man and logical fallacies are your last line of defense, people can see through your bullshit clear as day.

As they say in Israel if you sleep with dogs don't be surprised when you wake up with fleas! Keep inviting your rotten, criminal friends who have robbed millions blind, see how many "well known" entrepreneurs will show.

Stay professional and do not deviate from the topic with useless inflammatory ignorance about conspiracy theories that does not add to the discussion at hand.

Any questions?

Yes, I have a question. When you label something with a dirty word, does that mean you made an argument? No, you still have no argument and nothing that can even be rebutted at all.

With idiots like you, why would central bankers need to hire shills?

Let's see Smiley

Brining some half baked conspiracy AHHHH MOSSAD FBI into a topic about bitcoin conference in israel.

Does  that ring a bell?

Stay professional and do not deviate from the topic with useless inflammatory ignorance about conspiracy theories that does not add to the discussion at hand.

Any questions?

With people like these, who needs NSA to bring down crypto?

LOL

Stay professional, fool.

If a mod sees this, you need to ban Honeypot. All the responses from that account are just shit-flinging insults with zero substance.

Smiley

Too easy. Too easy. Maybe offer a rebuttal instead of calling someone a 'leftist' HAHA leftist me?

Bitcoin doesn't need anymore pseudo intellectual conspiracy theorists.

Offer a rebuttal to what? You did not put forth a single argument or even a premise. There is nothing to rebut. Once again, please go learn how to argue and come back when you have something of substance to say.

Are you really so stupid that you think "LOL, stay professional, fool" is an argument?

Is there a code to get the $259 price? On the page it says $270 and asks for a code. I am looking at flight options now for the conference. Thanks.
$259 was the early bird price. The price now is $270 and it will increase further after June 30. The price schedule is designed to discourage people from registering at the last moment, which makes organizing the conference very difficult.

Discount codes are mainly for members of the Israeli Bitcoin Association.

Oy, Vey! Conspiracy!

Fuck off.

As usual, a leftist ad hominem response with absolutely zero argument to speak of, just flinging insults and praying that one of them sticks. Why don't you go learn how to argue and then come back?

That's really good to hear. If there's enough time to get things in order, I think I'm going to try to get to this one. Thanks!

I am always surprised how safe Tel Aviv is when I visit. Walking the streets late at night in most of the city is fine, everything is open late anyways.

They call TA 'The Bubble', it doesn't feel like you are in a region with so much tension. It's beaches, bars, food, nightlife and socialising. Head to Jerusalem etc and things feel a bit different, but for tourists there are rarely problems. Masada, Dead Sea, Eilat, Caesaria are all amazing.

I won't be there in July but might head there in September. Hope the conference goes well.

If you indeed cared at all about original innovation and wanted to see a lot of young, brilliant minds at the conference you'd do well to prevent these people from even attending, let alone giving speeches.

Keep being the slave of the Mossad/FBI (which are the slaves of the bankers) and see how far Bitcoin will get.

Oy, Vey! Conspiracy!

Fuck off.

Given the fact that Gaven has admitted to meeting with the FBI it's hardly a conspiracy, the average intellectual might even safely assume it to be fact.
