I guess 400 million dollars was a lot of money to begin with, maybe they will pay a lot less and just partner up, that way binance wouldn't have to pay too much for the whole company, keep most of the money themselves, and work with CMC to improve their AI and help them realize what the real volume is and what the fake volume is, they probably have access to such product already so it would be easy to implement anyway.

New CEO wasn't really all that much needed, after all the current CEO is the one who brought everything to this point, love him or hate him dude was the reason why CMC was getting interest from all over the world and why Binance is getting any interest in them as well. Hopefully the new CEO will be even better otherwise it will be seen as a horrible decision.

Binance is not entirely going to take over coinmarketcap, it looks like they are just in co-op with coinmarketcap, the news I find below only consist on coinmarketcap CEO stepping down for a new CEO which is a woman, here is the open letter link below

https://blog.coinmarketcap.com/2020/04/02/a-letter-to-our-users-post-acquisition/?utm_source=coinmarketcap&utm_medium=alert&utm_content=acquisition&utm_campaign=announcement&utm_term=

If you have any good info about binance and coinmarketcap do not hesitate to share

Well let's hope he is not intending to buying coin market entirely. Prolly he wants to have a share of the project. If so, then not entirely a bad idea. I retain that I love the fact that CZ is ambitious. I wish him best of luck!

The word used was the acquisition, I believe its not just a simple partnership or cooperation but its already acquired by Binance, thats what I thought about the blog, the founder and CEO was already step down and already replace by a woman it is obvious that it was already acquired how come a founder and CEO step just like that without a big reason. will I hope Binance will make CMC more reliable, trusted and free from scams?
Exactly, A CEO once being replaced means that the one replacing will be the in-charge of full services. This acquisitions can be treated as deal done
between CMC and Binance whatever interpretations there is, it's simple to understand that everything now will be handled and manage by binance team
after the CEO step down and give all the privileged to the new team behind this business.

Binance and Coinmarketcap has a not of cleaning to do, since the last Bitcoin bullrun of 2017 many new projects find their way to coinmarketcap and that's fine by me but it would have been a good thing if they are all good projects, since that time coinmarketcap listed many bad m, crippled, fake projects

Even if they will co-operate the company it is still a great choice to me, I believe the owner of this company already knows they can't manage it properly anymore, with Binance coming in I believe there will be new developments that will help the company to perform more properly.

If this really happens then I think Binance is able to make CMC even more productive in handling shitcoin or bad exchanges with their bot volume and will eliminate it if there is no volume at all.
But has this acquisition been done? so that binance works more optimally in completing useless altcoin.

No matter who manages coinmarketcap, binance will run this site in the future. And I believe they will get rid of the junk there, for now I don't want to access coinmarketcap because they list too many bullshit projects and statistics on scam exchanges.

The letter clearly states new owner so this is a transition.

I think that it has long been necessary to restore order to coinmarketcap in the part of the rating where the volumes of cryptocurrency exchanges are published. And Binance has its own interest in this, because as far as I know, they indicate real turnover on their exchange.

Probably not just restoring but under new management, its going to be rearranged to make it convenient for anyone watching the market and binance interest is for them to prosper from the traffic it came from coinmarketcap.

I think the move from binance is currently positive when they want CMC as an update and a platform that they will successfully manage. for whatever purpose, but what is clear is that they show that the community's support and the ability of the team to develop this project are getting bigger we have seen.

Yes, it is true. I also read the news a few days ago. CMC will only be under the name binance, but they will work alone to provide information from cryptocurrency. CMC will continue to provide information on the movements of each crypto price and binance will also continue to fulfill the service as an exchanger to crypto users. maybe what they mean is cooperation.

I am pleased that binance is not having a full and total take over, but from the look of things. It is inevitable, and will eventually happen.
I can only implore the shits exchange (they know their-selves), have to braze up and provide better liquidation and volumity in their exchanges, so they can survive on coinmarketcap listing.

It's a 40 Million USD deal, mate, so the owner is Binance, not CMC team anymore. But Binance won't change it entirely, rather what I see CMC previous team will manage it by following the Binance circumstances! Which is good actually, maybe Binance hired the CMC team! People were talking CZ wants to be the crypto king, but the reality is CZ is a great guy, what he does, everything for the crypto industry, not only for him!

If that is the case for the Coin Acquisition Acquisition by Binance, I think this opportunity is very good and the investment opportunity for BNB coins will come.

There is more interesting information to look at if Binance Acquires coinmarketcap for now.

https://bitcoinist.com/coinmarketcap-addresses-binance-acquisition/

Of course in this case I am sure that in the future the investor group has begun to prepare something that is profitable for its customers in the future in keeping BNB coins available in the market that will be absorbed by the global market.

Yeah if Binance has been acquired by Binance then it is probably true what you say there will be an opportunity for us to hold the BNB in the future because of the open acquisition of CMC, therefore I am sure BNB will take advantage of this opportunity for its tokens to continue to soar therefore I will prepare to hold the BNB before the price goes up, whatever I am sure BNB will go up as before.

I have read the statement of Chan and it's simply telling that Binance is the owner.
As you’ve probably heard, earlier today, we announced that CoinMarketCap has a new owner in Binance.
And mentioned by Chez, CMC is now under Binance.
Probably owns a lot of shares but not totally. CMC will run with its previous team with addition from Binance and I think that’s a final decision from the board. CMC earns a lot of money from listing a coin their and that its so hard to give up if I’m one of those major hodlers, well we don’t know the exact agreement between these two but one thing is for sure, Binance is working on CMC now.

Just wait and watch how binance is going to react only the deal is done, you need to revert back and go through with few more articles.

I am sure binance team has big plans with CMC that's the reason they have targeted them which clearly seems to be like they are going to build a strong zone of crypto exchange. Binance CEO want to create a modern era of crypto exchange and hopefully they will lead from the front as a exchange.
when later binance managed to get CMC I think in the future binance which initially was an exchange platform then developed their coins and blockchain networks. and now we can see how binance doesn't stop innovating. whether this is good or bad for the progress of cryptocurrency or not we will see it in the future.

Binance is proving their dominance in this market and this is certainly a sign that they will soon have new preparations for the future of this whole market.

Of course, I don't want Binance to manipulate it all but recently they are amazed all investors and hope that this will benefit all investors because I am still holding some big coins at this exchange.

As you said, Binance wants to use its material power and continue to grow in the market. And it makes it a trunk show from time to time. We will all experience how long they can sustain this, but on the other hand, the data show that the total number of cryptocurrencies in Binance is decreasing. According to the latest data, it shows that the total number of BTC in Binance has decreased drastically. I think CZ should be careful in this process, otherwise a bad situation may occur for the market.
