Definitely a good time to buy. its less than $650!
Can anyone explain the cause of this drop? halving isn't happening yet.  Assuming the Chinese are withdrawing but why?

anything below 1k is buy buy buy !

well i dont know if anything below 1k is a good idea, but what im pretty sure is that halving is coming, and if everything goes like i expected, the price of the bitcoin will grow up x2 or maybe x3, to come back to a x2 Wink

so yes maybe is a good idea to invest now on bitcoin.
I dont think you should buy your bitcoins right now and that is because there are to many people selling their coins and that causes a price increase so just wait.

I would like to wait for the price to go below $650 before buying again. Maybe a few more days, we could see a bit more price dip and I would grab that opportunity to buy a little. If its goes down further to $600 or $550, I would still buy a few and see what direction it takes from there.

Definitely is buy time right now in my opinion because the price is low right now compared to a few days before today. The price is only $660~ compared to $780~ a few days before.

Grab this opportunity while you still can is my advice.

Price is at $635 so I will prefer to buy, no doubt its a big risk to take as not sure whether price will increase or decrease at the time of halving, so taking risk and hoping for the best.

It is better to buy now then to buy at around $760 a few days ago. But that was also a good price if you have confidence.

I don't think this is the good time to buy as price is high now, so I think we should wait for some time for price to fall, as current price will not allow us to make good profits.

If you are planning to hold for longer than a year or two, it doesn't matter if you buy now or two weeks from now.  Just get in.  It's better to be too early to the party than too late.  If you're here to make a profit trading, that's another story.  In the short term Bitcoin could go any direction.  However, after coming out of a 2-year bear market and with the halving approaching, there is probably far more upside potential than downside risk at this point.

Its definetly buy-time regarding long term investements.
But regarding short term it might be lucrative to wait 1 or 2 weeks until it dropped again a bit.

No I think it'll be more profitable for short term investments to buy more. If you're holding short term, you can buy now and sell at halving. If you're holding long term, I think it'd be better to buy during the crash after halving.
Exactly if you are looking for quick profits then you can buy it anytime before the halving as price will go higher at the time of halving for sure so keep on buying as much as you can.
It is not buy time and that is because the value of Bitcoin is not even that low now and many people with already Bitcoin are now just waiting for a higher value and that is all.
So maybe they can earn some profit soon and that is perfect for them because they waited a long time.

If you buy at current price then you cannot expect higher profit margin at halving, its better to wait for price to fall and if it doesn't hold your rest of coins for the halving.

Yep, I think so too. It's not yet the time to buy. I think in a few weeks BTC price will go down and will go up soon thereafter. Me personally I am waiting for it and when it comes it's time to horde me some BTCs!

Right now its not buy time at all the fact is that the bitcoin has a good future but the price is now too high to invest in my eyes.
If you are investing the profit will not be very high and its also it can still lower right now easily with this price and than you will lose money.

yes if we want to buy at this time is the price too high, but I believe the price will be higher if the halving have occurred.
but indeed for buy at this time you have to take risks.

The most used way that people are using to get Bitcoin is that they are having a signature campaign and that is really nice of course because it dont cost them any money so that is really nice for themselves.
The only thing that they have just to do is selling on the right moment when the value will be high and yeah it can takes a long time when it will reach a high value.

It depends on what is your definition of higher value, for me $1k is higher at this stage and for rest the highest value would be different, so if it reaches to $1k I would prefer to sell my coins.

I would surely sell mine if it reaches $1k. But I doubt it would happen anytime sooner.

if Sunday could reach $ 800, it means that every week the price rise $100, so the next two weeks I think we are very likely to reach $1000 when close to halving.

I am glad the price did not reach $800. If it did, then a bubble is forming. That is not good for the long term price.

I think the stable price could attract more investors, when they start buying the bitcoin, the price will rise gradually.
