I think it's still not late to buy and hold BTC.
We'll probably rise to the day of the halving and then probably sell on it, then buy back on a bounce and be steady from there. Not sure on the final price though

If you are a trader maybe you can buy bitcoin in anytime and in any price but for new people are still new know bitcoin they will scared how if the price down after they buy it. the price growing maybe yes as long as the bitcoin still growing it will goes hand in hand.

Honestly many people are afraid to buy right now because some people are say bitcoin will be crash and some of them bitcoin will convert into ethereum.. we don't know what will happen in this following months what will happen about bitcoin if the price will continues rising or not.. but i believe that the price of bitcoin will increase more after block halving.. so buying still thebest to make a profit..

you should buy right now and stop hesitating to buy bitcoin and then put the coins away in cold storage and never look back for at least a couple of months.
if you don't want to do this you should have some kind of watch over the price in order to buy if it suddenly went up to +$600 overnight because it happens the same way it went up from 470 to +$500
