Explain what you mean by that. Not all of them have the product you're looking for or are they deficient in some other way?

i am mostly talking about the trust! many of these online shops accepting bitcoin are brand new businesses so it is hard to trust them especially because of the one-way nature of the bitcoin transactions.

i remember a while back i wanted to buy a game online with bitcoin i only found one established site with some small amount of good reputation the rest were unknown brand new sites with interesting prices but zero trust.

but also the other part about "not all of them having the product i want" is also true.
also "not all the shops have bitcoin payment option" hence the first line. for example i want to buy domain/hosting from godaddy but they refuse to accept bitcoin ;(

I think this is really a good idea since the forum users are getting bigger and the signature campaigns are too few that is why it would be really a great opportunity for us who earn most of their earnings are in sign campaigns

I think this would be a good idea since there are many members of the forum and we can be aware of who are the ones selling something that we need. It would be nice if the one they are selling are basic necessities because digital goods are already here but as for basic necessities like groceries I do not know any site that accept bitcoin yet.

That's good to promoting their site that's not good if their focus just on the sign campaign in here, I think the another place like social media it's also a good place for promoting their store.

Actually it's only common sense to know that you can buy stuffs here and there with bitcoin since it is a currency. Anyway, this isn't a bad idea but I doubt that the online store will earn more than how much they would pay people on this site. On the other hand, if they are going to pay low for their Ads instead, they will have the same situation as BetBTC signature campaign has. They aren't getting any people at all and it doesn't seem that they will.

usually new businesses do this not the old ones, and they stop advertising when they get a small attention as if it was enough advertisement!
but i think this is good for showing you are accepting bitcoin in your business, even if it is a simple banner on top of the bitcointalk forum (under the first comment of each page).

if you ar gonna create such signature campaign, better to allow international buyers and place advertisements in other bitcoin community. local exclusive will be more difficult to gain money.

as far as i know, there is a online store that offer refill phone balance with many amount that we can selected. and sometimes i am buying this to my phone cellular.

and i thing if we make an approach with them, i mean we send email to them and ask them if they can make any signature campaign to this forum and offer their service, i think it will be good. maybe later i will try to contact them. but i am not sure that they will agree or not because i think they're have their own market so far.

The idea has good side and bad side. The good side, as we know, is to inform people about the stores accepting bitcoin, but the bad side is there will be so many posts here if all online shops accepting bitcoin start signature campaign.

Probably it's better if only one signature campaign that promote all online shops accepting bitcoin, but it also brings negative effect that the signature should be too long.

if any would like to open their signature campaign its really good and a good sign for bitcoin. But i dont think im gonna use it to buy in any of online stores that accepts because it is not reversable.

I would refuse to do any business at all with any online store that ran a signature campaign (just like I refuse to do any business at all with all businesses that run signature campaigns).

Hopefully, most intelligent people would take their bitcoins elsewhere and reward those businesses that don't pay people to spread nonsense all over the forum.

You really want to make a difference? We need grocery stores that accept bitcoin. I can think of no single thing that would help bitcoin more. Someone must have the contacts to talk to management at Whole Foods to broach the subject. Not just Gyft.com but direct checkout using my phone bitcoin wallet.

I think its a good idea, running a signature campaign is the same with advertising, and advertising using signature campaign is a smart idea, some of the user know the new site through the other user signature campaign and i myself know a lot of gambling site some of them through the signature campaign advertising

In my opinion, anyone even newbies who are interested to buy online can easily search stores that accepts bitcoin on google. I mean even without signature campaign, people who are into bitcoin will think of it, will be curious if there are stores online that accepts it, then they will do the move to search for those stores. And another thing, there are several better ways to advertise their site aside from this.
On the other side, having a signature campaign have pros and cons. Advantage that it can help in spreading awareness to bitcoin users here about that store and disadvantage is sometimes due to spammers the reputation of the company also become affected.

I agree with you if there are many online stores who accept bitcoin as payment method, but i don't too agree if online stores makes signature campaign on this forum. Because their costumers will be limited on this forum only, i think more good online stores makes Google advertising.

When I read this topic title, I wanted to say that every signature campaign will benefit Bitcoin. However after reading the post, I feel that you are actually right. A lot of Bitcoiners here mainly use Bitcoin for investment , trading and gambling. If a Bitcoin accepting store were to start a signature campaign, a lot of Bitcoiners here will know about it.
