What I really regret in that match is V. Osimhen who also received a red card. Losing Politano alone was a big loss for Napoli in that match. But what made me more worried was because Osimhen also received a red card in that match. My worry is Napoli in the next match. Although in the next match Napoli did not have a tough opponent, namely Monza. But still playing without Osimhen and Politano will definitely weaken Napoli in the next match. And it will give Monza the opportunity to make things difficult for Napoli. Because without Osimhen we always see Napoli having difficulty building attacks.

But fortunately in the next match Napoli will play as hosts. And I don't think Monza will be able to beat Napoli. But if Napoli is not in the best condition then a draw could occur in the next match.
The Napoli team's performance is very bad and the bad results they have had in the last few matches have certainly made the mentality and confidence of the Napoli players quite low at the moment.
The next match against Monza should be a turning point for the Napoli team to change everything because in terms of quality Monza is far below Napoli so the Napoli team can make good use of this to win.
However, Napoli's current problem has arisen, namely the absence of 2 of their important players due to red cards against Roma, which is quite detrimental for the team.

I don't know if facing Roma alone would make Napoli feel frustrated and ultimately make them get red cards twice. This match was very hot and both teams seemed determined to win this match but unfortunately there can only be one winner in each match. Roma managed to take advantage of this superior number of players by scoring two goals and Napoli seemed to just surrender every time their goal was broken through.

They were short of players after Politano and Osimhen had to be sent off from the field, so even carrying out a defensive strategy still felt fragile. Napoli not only lost but will also lose key players in the next match due to this red card and what was most noticeable was the absence of Osimhen. Napoli's attack line will be dull again without Osimhen and this is clearly a loss that means they will again fail to get full points.

This was frustrating for Napoli. But the performance from them has not been incredible as well. It's not like this is the only match where they are unlucky and if not for the decisions that were taken by the referee, they could have done a lot better. They are in a downward spiral right now. And I think it is actually going to increase the frustration, especially for Victor Osimhen. To be honest I don't see the performance improving quickly for them.
Napoli seemed impatient to get 3 points in this match and they finally lost control against Roma. If only the players' emotions could be more suppressed, it is possible that they would not have experienced such deep losses in that match. But it all happened and now there are only regrets left and I doubt Napoli will be able to return any time soon. Maybe coach Mazzarri should start guiding his players to be better for the next match and avoid the consequences of problems like what happened before.

It's not easy to be in a team that has great prestige as defending champions and in a season that was predicted to be able to make them survive, it ended up being destroyed due to unpreparedness after being left by Spalleti. Well, I can only hope that Napoli will return soon and be able to provide the same performance as last season, even though their chances of retaining the Scudetto this season have disappeared.

AS Roma victory cannot be predicted because after all, before the match started the fact that Napoli was also still quite favored to win based on the odds. That means, AS Roma and Napoli both have a chance to win in this match, because after all, AS Roma also got their first goal after Napoli played with only 10 players. Also, aboout AS Roma second goal also came after Napoli got a red card for the second time.

So, with a goal that happened after Napoli got a red card then yes, it proves that Napoli has a chance to make the match end with a draw score. But yes, unfortunately Napoli failed to maintain their performance because they got a red card and obviously, by only playing with 10 and 9 players, it is natural that AS Roma won because if Napoli continued to play with 11 players of course AS Roma would also remain difficult to beat Napoli.
Losing 2 players in a match really disrupt their performance in the matches that are carried out.
Indeed,in the Roma match against Napoli in the match that occurred, indeed the biggest chance was a draw but indeed losing Osimhen and Politano in the second half destroyed their conditions which could actually still be a draw for this match.
This is another downfall for Napoli and indeed Mazzari is now experiencing problems should if you see the current situation then indeed he will not be free from the problem of criticism that occur when the match end.
He is expected to be able to bring Napoli performance to a better direction but indeed what is seen  now when the leadership of Rudi Garcia and Mazzari is not too different because the current performance does not really reflect the increase and this will make us even more convinced that Napoli are now out of their zone to defend the Scudetto and they could also be thrown in the top 4 at the end of the season.

Politano could not contain his emotions and let his team down, perhaps this violation did not deserve a second yellow card, but the referee made such a decision and this influenced the outcome of the match. Roma remained in the majority and after 10 minutes they were able to convert their advantage into a goal.

Osimhen's second yellow card was also dubious, it seemed that it was just a fight for the ball, nothing intentional, but it didn't matter anymore, because Napoli had no chance to equalize the score in this match anyway.

Yeah you are right because the both teams has an equal performance but however I believe that Napoli has more quality performance than As Roma because at the beginning of the match Napoli was dominating and putting more pressure on As Roma but however it was quite unfortunate that Napoli performance had to be cut short do to the two red card they had, actually one of the most challenging thing that would happen to a team is playing with short two because that's exactly what disorganised the performance of Napoli, they were finding it difficult to cope after the red card, so As Roma had to use the opportunity to break Napoli.

So actually if Napoli had not gotten any red card they would have surely win As Roma because they have really improve in times of performance this season, so perhaps there is every likelihood that Napoli will surely regain back there position because there next match against Monza will surely be a win match for them, while Roma will meet Juventus so is quite obvious that Juventus is far better than Roma in times of performance so is certainly going to be an opportunity for Napoli to go back to there 6 position on there table.
Before the game between Roma and Napoli kicked off yesterday,  it's obvious that Napoli were the better team in terms of the general performance of the two teams  since the start of the season as they  were in a better position in the league table ahead of Roma but after Napoli's defeat yesterday,  Roma went two points ahead of them in the league table.

The game was closely contested as the two teams searched for a breakthrough but none couldn't score a goal in the  first half of the match.  It was after Politano got the first red card of the match that Roma began to press the away team more and eventually got a reward for their  pressure in the 76th minute that Lorenzo Pellegrini scored the opener in the game. The result might not have been the same if Victor Osimhen wasn't also sent off late in the game but after he received the second card of the match,  it became obvious that Roma will get a second goal which they did and won the match

Napoli's decision to bring in Mazzarri and fire Garcia did not seem to be the right decision from the start. Although I understand that Napoli's poor performance is actually not Mazzarri's fault because after all it is difficult to immediately expect a new coach to immediately make significant changes at the club when the season has not even reached the middle of the season at that time. I personally even hope that Garcia can stay longer at Napoli because firing Garcia is actually too hasty a decision. because Garcia also hasn't had enough time to really understand the Napoli squad this season.

So the defeat by Roma also doesn't surprise me. if there weren't two red cards, perhaps Napoli could still be ahead and achieve a draw in this match. But two red cards really made Napoli worse. If Politano had not been provoked then Napoli might not have lost this player. Because it was actually the Roma players who first provoked and caused a slight offense to Politano. Unfortunately, Politano was provoked by the opponent's provocation, which might actually have been in the Roma players' plans.
Napoli were going through a tough time and this prompted the call up of Mazarri. At his debut game, he did well to win, even though much is expected of him, he just shouldn't be blamed if up until now the team are struggling to be consistent in victories. At least they're not always loosing games. They've got some wins and some losses too.

Yesterday they played away from home to Roma who are a better side too so definitely it'd have been difficult for them to win although a draw wouldn't have been much of a bad result. But we should note that Mazarri is a new boss, yes we won't give him as much leisure and overlook that'd cause him to be relaxed but technically he's new to the team and he's got to put his players and strategies together. Maybe we'd just give him this last week of the year to implement new strategies before starting to judge accordingly from the second half of the season.

The second yellow cards on both Victor Osimhen and Matteo Politano was not justifiable. Politano never intended to hurt his attacker but he just expressed his displeasure mildly. This red card was the sole cause of Napoli's defeat because the first goal came after the red card. Referees shouldn't just look at some actions on the surface, there is a need to check the impact as well as the intentions. Victor's red card was not also correct, it should have been a foul without any booking. It so becoming obvious that Napoli might not be able to defend the Seria A title, maybe they should focus on making it to the Champions League next season.

But they can channel more effort to the UCL, where they will be playing in the second round against Barcelona. The suspension of Victor Osimhen and Politano is a big blow to the team because they won't be available for the game against Monza on Friday the 29th. Napoli will have to do the extraordinary for them to move up out of the current 7th position because there are many quality clubs ahead of them in the Italian league.
Sometimes referees can have too much influence on the outcome of a match, and Colomubo clearly did that. The fact that Napoli would not be able to defend their title was clear even before this match, and as for the Champions League, they don’t have much of a chance there either, despite the fact that Barcelona is not in the best shape right now, I think they are capable of beating such a Napoli. Spalletti was able to make Napoli a truly strong team, that could become a European grand, but with his departure Napoli lost this opportunity.

The match like this can change very quickly and some turning points can happen. Bove can make this match more easily for Roma but two of his shots failed to be goals for Roma. Napoli did not create too many dangerous chances in the match but the match generally was very balancing before the red cards for Politano and Osimhen. After those red cards, Roma was boosted with Mourinho's substitution decisions. Pellegrini scored a winning goal for them and with not too good defense system in this season, Roma only know they get three points when Lukaku scored a second goal.

Napoli actually can get one point from the match but their players failed to control themselves and gave Roma great chances to win it. They have to go back to their home and train their players seriously about emotional and psychological control in important matches.

Well you may have put it in more precise words. Dominant is maybe too much of the good for Napoli, but they had control over the game and didn't really get under pressure and then I thought if the chance comes up for them, they are the team that is more likely to strike. That's also why I would have chosen Napoli as the winner, but the two teams are struggling and that makes it particularly difficult to determine who the favorite really is in such a game. Osimhen receiving a red card was stupid. That should have never happened and in my opinion it is straight out dumb to receive that second yellow when you know what's on the line in that game.
It is difficult for a player to control emotions when the team is under pressure and I think in football it is normal for what happened to Osimhen.
I am not surprised by the final result of this match, regardless of the game statistics because the most important thing is the final result and it must be admitted that Napoli are currently in a slump with a series of bad results so it is only natural that they lose again in this match.
I will not blame Napoli for losing to Roma last night because Napoli received two red cards in that match and it would be hard for any club in Napoli's situation yesterday not to concede defeat against a club like AS Roma. Napoli played more than AS Roma yesterday, but the two red cards stopped Napoli from not getting a point against AS Roma.
Napoli's quality of play has dropped a lot from their previous performances, they have been playing much better in the Italian league but why are they playing so badly this time around. They have been seen at the top of the points table for most of the time but this time they have moved to the 7th position. This is really funny. Even with a team like Roma, they won the match 2-0 today, so wasn't it because of Napoli's weakness? So why don't you blame them for their losses? It happened because Napoli played carelessly

I agree with you. Roma's win was expected. Napoli's performance was very erratic. The new coach is still not able to adapt himself well with the players of the team. I also find it unlikely that Walter Mazzarri will improve Napoli's performance very quickly. Napoli have played 8 matches since Walter Mazzarri took over as coach. Out of this they have won only 3 matches and lost 5 matches. We didn't see a good performance from Napoli players against Roma either. They don't try to attack much. I think Napoli's goal was to draw the match. But after receiving two red cards in the second half, they could no longer resist the Roma players.

Yes, Napoli is facing challenges under Walter Mazzarri's coaching. The recent statistics highlight some struggles, and the lack of attacking initiative is concerning. The two red cards in the second half certainly added to their difficulties against Roma. It will be interesting to see how Mazzarri addresses these issues and works on improving Napoli's performance in the upcoming matches.

Actually, Napoli wasn't bad, but they didn't have many options after receiving 2 red cards in the game. They lost 2-0, this is a big problem. Their performance is far from last year's magnificent Napoli. Roma, on the other hand, has been in great form. Napoli was an important opponent for them and they managed to return from this match with 3 points.

So, if there were no red cards in this match Napoli might not have lost maybe both teams play a draw Roma was just lucky in this situation. Sad to see Napoli currently in 7th position because we know that last season Napoli was the best team in the Italian League for some reason they can't maintain their position even though they are still playing the same squad there are only a few players who have moved. Osimhen, who is usually always a mainstay, is now unable to do the same as last season he seemed to be missing something in his abilities.

I don't think Napoli have a chance to win the Scudetto again this season even for a place in the champions league I doubt it, what exactly is missing from this club?
Is it just because their competitors are playing better or is this just an unlucky season for Napoli? sometimes questions like this are difficult to answer.

Martinez's picking up an injury must be really sad news for Inter. They won against Lecce comfortably anyway but they would like to have him back as soon as possible. His expected return date in January 3 now. They need him the most especially in bigger games in the Serie A and of course every single game from now on in the Champions League.  Grin

He is having a much more productive season. He has scored more than one third of the number of goals Inter have scored in the Serie A so far. He is doing just fine in the Champions League too but his contribution would be more critical as of the current round. They have a really tough matchup against Atletico Madrid.

juventus won and this time they managed to score more than 1 goal, but conceded 1 goal, I see that juventus will not let inter be too far away in the table, knowing that inter at times start to become inconsistent in the middle of the season, I hope that This will happen again this season for Juventus to become champions. And talking about inter, they managed to win easily as expected, they scored 2 goals and didn't concede any goals, inter have been a very consistent team in attack and defense this season, I see that they are very determined to win the league
It is already half way through the season and Inter Milan is still very consistently in first place and with a much better number of goals scored than Juventus. I see Juventus having a little difficulty in scoring goals but they have a good enough defense so they can win game after game. And related to your statement which said that usually Inter will be inconsistent in the middle of the season, we can look forward to that and see whether they are able to appear consistent or not. Moreover, Lautaro Martinez's injury will certainly have a huge impact on Inter's performance in the next match.

Juventus team is consistently performing well in every match. However, the main  weakness of their squad is the erratic performance of the attacking players. Despite having a strong defense,  they are still fighting for the title with  Inter Milan. However  I still consider Inter Milan as the favorite for the title. Firstly they are  4 points ahead of Juventus. And secondly, the team's attack is very strong. The team is capable of scoring a lot of goals.

Inter Milan are unlikely to face major problems due to Martinez's injury in their next three matches against Genoa, Verona and Monza. All three teams are quite weak compared to Inter Milan. So even if Martinez is not in the squad, Inter Milan won't have much problem.

Inter Milan is ahead in terms of points by four. And at this moment I don't see them having too many problems from any team. If they lose then obviously Juventus might show them some competition. But right now they are relatively safer. And Juventus is performing pretty well. I think this is a season when they will actually have some competition for the title. I still think that Napoli is going to be the one to actually win the title. But let's say. Every season we see Juventus being unlucky. What if this season they are the lucky ones?

And in my opinion, Roma's victory is not a big surprise because Napoli are really down this season so Roma can take advantage of this to win the match.
As it happened, the amount of drama and cards that were taken out of the referee's pocket indicated that the tension in this game was very high and that was natural because after all, this was a match between two of Serie A's top teams.

Difficult for me to believe that Victor Oshime signed a contract extension with Napoli. SMH!! They're now seventeen points behind the league leaders. I don't even think they're capable of challenging for the top four clubs in the Scudetto Competition.

I won't blame them too much, the double red card spoiled the game and the ref kinda had hand in this game. The first direct Red card on Politano was too harsh, a yellow card wouldn't have been a bad idea. But he went all out to card him out. Victor Oshime included didn't stamp on that player, only if he saw that clearly. That shouldn't have been given. Not too reckless though but the tackle came from behind.

I double doubt qualifications for the Champions League football next season would be possible.
