However, Juventus is a threat to them and if they lose focus on the league, it can be snatched from them by Juventus who are currently in a strong form.

By all standards and level of comparison, Napoli is steps ahead of cagilari so I will agree with you on the fact that Napoli should have everything to win this match by all indications, this is another opportunity for Napoli to definitely level up further on the league table to further give them a chance to defend the title because they are the current defending champions.

From what you've said, there's no reason for Napoli not to win this game, they have everything they need to win. I think AC Milan has a small chance to chase Inter and Juventus. AC Milan played inconsistently during this season, they no longer played well like the previous season. In the previous season, AC Milan can compete with some teams for the runner up position. But this season, I think AC Milan only has the chance to finish in 3rd place. With Napoli higher current standings position from Cagliari they are not any option yet except have to win, Napoli performance in domestic league very poor after losing last two matches before from Juventus and Inter Milan make their position stuck on 6th standings. Previously, Milan was team that could match Juventus and Inter this season, but in the current conditions it seems that hope has disappeared because the gap between Milan and the top two teams is very large.
No team can stop Inter and Juventus this season unless they suffer consecutive defeats, in the future, there may be chance for another team to rise, but this is unlikely to happen.
The fight for first place and the title will continue between Inter as the top of the standings and Juventus as the team in 2nd place and of course those who are only two points apart will try hard to win the title this season.
Serie A will only enter its 16th week and soon the transfer window will also open so that several teams will have the opportunity to get several players to improve their squad and be able to get better place.

So, from the 7 point difference, if Milan wants to be able to compete and become one of the candidates in the race for the title, then needs at least 3 wins with 2 losses Juventus in the next match.
But this will only be hope that is difficult to come true and even luck will not be able to make Milan become the strongest team this season.

Yeah previously Milan even won the Serie A title in the 2021/22 season. However they are struggling to be a part of a title competition for two seasons. Napoli dominated the whole season previously though so no other team were able to keep up with them. But right now things are different. More than one team are in this competition now.

Milan need to deal with their defending first I assume. Because their scoring capability isn't that bad however I can't say the same for their defensive side. Sad

They are one of the most conceding teams among the ones at top positions right now.

Italian clubs are increasing their strength but sadly in this season we have poor run from the defending champions Napoli which is currently at the sixth spot as they have just three points from their last four games and their defence is consistently giving them problems they are conceding enough goals even their attack is much stronger but still they are having not good performance and their chances for the jumping into top two is already ended but if they want to stay into top four they need to work on their defence otherwise they are going to have problems for staying in top ranks.

Victor Osimhen is now return from his injury and now already announces about his extension which will be going to have positive impact but if they want to stay as defending champions then still they need to be much better and consistent side for the rest of this season.

Now chances are ended for them to have anything near the top two spots because they are having 12 points difference from the Juventus which is second behind Inter Milan which is having top spot in Serie A table and their performance is also not good for having top spot in this season with we have to blame management which not able to bring suitable players for relative spots which are creating problems for them in this season but now from here if they want to stay at better spot they need to do much better and board also needs to bring quality players which give them better performance and quality for having good end of this season while they are currently defending champions which is surely having another impact on them.
