I think the "how" doesn't need to be asked here as he is so frequently injured that I agree it is questionable how important he is for the team. I think this is one of the most important factors to consider when signing a player. How often is the player injured? One of the best examples for this is Neymar and how he has been missing so many games due to injuries. Everyone got used to it. Neymar is injured? Of course he is...

I like those players who are high quality and extremely resilient or otherwise they wouldn't belong into the top of world soccer. If Ronaldo or Messi had been injured every 3 months, I guess they wouldn't have won a single ballon dor.
