Napoli has good quality indeed this season under Conte's guidance but Atalanta, Inter Milan, Lazio and also several other teams currently also have sufficient strength so that the competition will be even more difficult this season.
To be able to become a champion requires consistency, it is very difficult especially since this season's journey is still very long so anything is possible for the top teams at this time but one thing is for sure that the competition this season will be fiercer than last season.

I think this victory is supposed to be more than ordinary victory for Juventus after being victory less for series of matches. At this time, it doesn't matter which team they achieved the victory against, they need it for long and eventually have one now. It worth celebrating actually. Juventus is extremely bad this season and every victory should count for them irrespective of the team they play against. Despite that Monza is sitting on the bottom of the table, you can see that it was still a narrow escape for Juventus after the supposed underdog equalised.

Isn't it too much talking about tittle when they're not even in the top four? Grin

I think the goal is to be able to achieve top four this season and not winning the league anymore. It's already late fighting for the league as their performance keep declining.

Serie A this season has indeed become very competitive. Inter would have a greater chance of first place if Atalanta were held to a draw by Empoli. That almost happened, but they managed to get the win. Atalanta got an advantage.
If Inter wins 2 matches that are difference from Napoli and Atalanta, it will take Inter to the top of the standings. But anyway Atalanta's current performance is extraordinary. They must maintain it for the competition until the end of the season.

It wad a game they Atalanta should have won well. They ended up conceding unnecessary goals they shouldn't have, we'll, three points is all that matters, no?
I'm not even gonna lie here, I don't want inter Milan lifting the trophy again this season, I love the idea of another club fighting and putting themselves out for this great challenge. The league has to do between, Napoli and Atalanta finally when you look at it.

Atalanta are playing amazing and in matches they have difficulty to have goals, somehow they managed to score winning goals. It reminds about Leverkusen in Bundesliga last season and I won't be surprirsed if Atalanta win Scudetto in this season.

Overally Serie A this season looks very weird because in many decades, it is considered as the league with main priority in defense and defense is like an art here. In this season, looking at stats of 20 clubs so far, it's shocked with 11 clubs that have negative goal difference now. Only 9 clubs, 8 with positive goal differences, and 1 with neutral goal difference. Usually only clubs that are struggling in relegation zone have negative goal differences, but now 11 clubs have it, very weirdly.

A draw wasn't out of the question at all as both teams have 17 draws in total! Juventus Turin is literally getting draws all the time. 4 of their last 5 games ended in a draw, so it wouldn't have been a huge surprise and the game was quite close against Monza. It is not as if Juventus delivered a great show, but they haven't been doing that anyway for quite some time now.

Juventus this season in the Serie A have had drawn more games than any other club but just like you said, they were able to overcome the draw jinx by winning at Monza today. I wasn't surprised that Juventus won because they played against the Monza side that's at the bottom of the table. Alessandro Nesta's reign at Monza have been a very poor one this season as they're now fighting relegation. Maybe sacking Nesta will bring solution to Monza's poor results.

Not just yet, lets wait awhile more and see if they are really back to winning ways because the Juventus I know never has consistency as their thing, so they can probably still fail again and we begin to wonder if they weren't the ones we were already believing they are back ro winnings. Their biggest challenge has been with maintaining that which they have started but before I hit them with too many blames and criticism it's only fair I congratulate them on this win and securing three points bringing back hope to its fans that they are capable of still winning games.
