I was expecting Roma to be a better team this season because they tried their best last season, and they signed players like Lukaku and others to strengthen the squad.
They started with a poor performance, which so many of us think was because of the injuries they had in the team, but after bouncing back with a 7-0 win against Empoli and after their draw against Torino away from home, yesterday's performance was not impressive, and I think Jose Mourinho needs to work on his defence because after they levelled the score yesterday, I was expecting them to win the match since they have an almost complete squad.

I couldn't recognize Rome this season. A team full of surprises, literally. They have one of the most different wins in Serie A against Empoli, conceding 4 goals from Genoa yesterday. I hope Mourinho realizes where he made a mistake, otherwise Roma will not be able to enter the top 6 this season.

Roma suffered an embarrassing defeat against Genoa away from home and are currently 16th in the table, i don't they look serious this season because they've only won 1 game and the rest are 3 loses and a draw, if they continue to perform poorly they could end up in the relegation zone and that could kill the confidence level of the players.

Time is not on Mourinho's side he needs to come up with a better strategy so as to save the team from ending up in the relegation zone, else the board might lose patience and begin to look for a replacement, getting sacked this season would be very embarrassing and bad for Mourinho's career, therefore winning is what he needs currently to save his managerial role in Roma.

If Roma had performed well and lost then they would not have been criticized so much for this defeat but it is normal to criticize where they did not perform.

Out of 20 teams, Roma is currently ranked 16th, we never expect them to be 16th. It is very difficult for them to come back from the point where their performance has reached.

They did control the game, but it wasn't enough for them to win this match. Their defense was poor, and they couldn't finish the attacks they built well. 4 goals were scored against them, and that's a very bad result. I'd rather see a club win narrowly but consistently, rather than them scoring a lot of goals in one game and then getting a negative result. They scored 7 goals against Empoli, but since then they've been off the pace in Serie A, drawing the previous match and losing this one by a heavy scoreline too.

This is José Mourinho's third season coaching Roma and the previous 2 seasons he was considered quite successful so what happened at the start of this season was quite surprising.
And I don't see anything wrong with Roma because the players and coaches are still the same as last season, not much has changed in the Roma squad this season, but what happened was really beyond what many people expected.

However, I think there is no need to be careless for the Roma team in making a decision to get out of this downturn, I think José Mourinho is a coach who is quite experienced and has good qualities so I think he definitely has a way to get out of this bad situation, we just need to giving José Mourinho time to improve.

Maybe your opinion is right, Jose Mourinho will certainly not remain silent with his team's current very chaotic condition. It's really unacceptable result for now. As roma fans expected more than it but it seems like that roma was always failing to deliver significant result from serie a.
