Napoli did not argue with the previous coach. Spalletti's reason for leaving was because he wanted to relax with his long-estranged family and Napoli respected that decision so it would be ridiculous to blame Napoli just because of Spalletti's amicable agreement there.

At the moment there are a lot of doubts about Napoli but looking at the current conditions isn't this the same as last season where Napoli were also underestimated for removing some important players like Dries Mertens and Koulibaly but in the end they were able to and now I think it's not too appropriate to underestimate Napoli again but still don't see the performance for next season especially since they are the defending champions this time.

From an external perspective it is almost impossible to tell what happened behind the scenes when a coach leaves a club while he actually still has a contract or an offer for an extension of the contract, but since Spalletti had two or three sabbatical in the last couple of years, this could be true. Napoli has an important pool of players right now. Many of the players are confident that they won Serie A last year. Of course, it would have been better if they had not been eliminated by Milan in UCL, but even their performance in the league was amazing for them. I think Inzaghi is a successful manager. He took Inter to the UCL final last year and played a very good final game. Even though he didn't get what he wanted in the league, he became a coach that left a mark in UCL. I think he is a coach who has the ability to work at Inter for many more years.
