Yes it is true. I don’t think Atletico Madrid was going to approach him if he actually was not a free agent. Inter Milan was really interested in him. But of course everyone was giving more importance to what the player wants. I actually respect the clubs for doing that. I also respect Chelsea for doing this.

I am recently hearing that Chelsea is probably not doing the cleanest thing with money management. Chelsea is also trying to find loopholes. Napoli will not expect much return of investment from Osimhen who is in his peak performance and market value and who doesn't have much time left with the team before going as free agent or see his value dropping so better to sell him right away.

De Sanctis tends too choose good coaches for Napoli so let's hope that he will continue to do so. We can not say it will never happen but I see difference between Leicester City and Napoli. Before winning Scudetto in this season, Napoli had about 10 years of good performance in Serie A. Leicester City did not have same position like Napoli before their sudden successful season with Ranieri. Napoli seems to have good transfer strategy and salary policy that will help them in long term. It can be changed if De Sanctis will resign as a President of their club but we will return to discuss about it if he leaves.

The amount for Osimhen to be paid for a potential transfer is also going up and down in the media. Sometimes it says 180 million and sometimes it says 130 million. I think that Napoli won't be able to sell him for 180 million as that is too much for him. If he scored close to 40 goals in the season in Serie A alone then maybe it could be closer to the 180 million, but for a strong striker with good scoring statistics, 180 million is too much. Kane's numbers in the Premier League are then better because the Premier League is the more difficult competition I would say also for a striker.
