Well maybe the next season's goal for Napoli is indeed the Champions League and they certainly need a coach who has a lot of experience in the Champions League. But I still doubt Napoli will be able to get a coach who meets these criteria. Because now even the hunt for coaches is as fierce as the hunt for players in the transfer market.
Napoli is a club that has a very good performance, and unfortunately yesterday they failed to overthrow Inter to qualify for the next round. and yes if they are targeting to bring home the Champions trophy next season maybe they should get a revision of a new coach who is more experienced in the Champions as well as improving the club's better performance for a good next season.
And to be honest, we want to see new changes at Napoli, basically they are already very high quality and have been able to maintain consistent performance this season. and we expect a much better performance in the next season, in the Champions they will meet a tough Rival, we are looking forward to a much more beautiful game from Napoli for next season.

I don't know why you can't be satisfied with Luciano Spalletti. Is Luciano Spalletti not experienced enough? Napoli is doing very well with Luciano Spalletti. And this season the Napoli team won the title by dominating Serie A.
Napoli has played 96 matches since Luciano Spalletti took over as coach. Of these, Napoli has won 62 matches and lost only 18 matches. Luciano Spalletti's winning percentage is 64.58%. Is it not good enough?
Many people want to see Zidane as Napoli's coach instead of Luciano Spalletti. Zidane's winning percentage with Madrid was 60.53%. Zidane is certainly experienced. But I see no reason to feel bad for Luciano Spalletti. Luciano Spalletti can strengthen the Napoli team if he gets more star players in his squad.

Is it the right decision to fire Spalletti? My personal opinion is that Spalletti should be retained as Napoli's coach. Napoli showed great dominance in Serie A last season. And I want to give credit to their coach. Spalletti has got on very well with the players. He has a friendly relationship with the players. And so if Napoli changes coach it will take a long time for the team to stabilize. And so I would say Napoli's management should try to strengthen their squad instead of changing the coach. More talented players should be added to the squad.

Spalletti has been leaving from napoli as his choice. Napoli didn't wanna see him to leave from napoli but spallitti itself who has been leaving from the club. He has got a new offer from napoli but it seems like that spalletti doesn't like napoli's management at this moment. Napoli will not sack spalletti as he was able making napoli to win scudetto after more than 3 decades. I think that spalletti is really helpful for napoli.
he was also successfully developing some average players into the good players like osimhen and kvarat. Napoli is now having so many high valued players in the club.

Napoli must be thankful to the spaletti for make it happen.
That's why osimhen was not interesting to see spalletti's position replaced by galtier.
Yes, it's true that Spalletti was not fired but he resigned and the trigger from various sources was that it was reported that Spalletti had an affair with the owner of the club, Aurelio de Laurentiis. This news exists because Spalletti demanded a raise if I'm not mistaken. However, there are also some who say that because of a mismatch regarding team development for next season between Spalletti and the club owner.

But in my opinion, Spalletti resigning when he was still victorious is the most beautiful and happiest thing, rather than leaving when he is down, let alone being sacked by the club owner.
For example, we can see Pep Guardiola when he left Barcelona, Zidane when he was in Madrid and Sir Alex when he was at Man United, maybe there are many other examples of other coaches. They will be remembered for their greatness not for their failure, they will be remembered not for a moment but for all time.

I think the Napoli management is looking for a coach with much more experience than Spalleti in the Champions League where Napoli performed well honestly but not at the level that is expected from a team who dominated a big league like the Serie A.I think that Napoli management is not thinking of the Serie A to win it again although it is in their objectives, rather they are focusing to bring again the absolute glory of Champions League in Napoli,to the city of Naples who will make sure to burn it down again, even in a bigger amount than they did in the party for Serie A title.

But the President of Napoli, Aurelio De Laurentiis, apparently has criteria for a coach who is used to using a 4-3-3 formation scheme. and the names of suitable coaches and strong candidates include Thiago Motta (Coach of Bologna) and Vincenzo Italiano (Coach of Fiorentina). The President of Napoli wants to continue to maintain the game scheme that Napoli currently has.
I still can't believe that their fired their manager, it just doesn't make sense because they are literally firing a coach that gave them a title after so many years. What were they thinking? They are going to find someone cheaper that will do better than him? They assumed the success came because players were good and other teams were bad, but none of this would be possible without the manager.

In the end, we are going to see the team get a lot worse if they keep this up and they end up firing more staff and selling players and basically restarting with same result hopes. They will not even be in the top 4 if they do this and it looks like they are going to do it anyway. I guess it's their own club, let them do whatever they want.

I think it's almost impossible if Napoli's team management wants to find another coach and fire Spalletti, Napoli under Spalletti's coaching is good enough, they dominate Serie A and made it to the semifinals of the UCL this season, that's not a bad thing especially since Napoli is a team that just develop.
if Napoli wants to do even better in the UCL then give Spalletti more time and buy some top players, that's quite realistic in my opinion.

You are right. A change of coach cannot guarantee that Napoli will do well in the Champions League. Coach Spalletti's contribution to Napoli's good performance this season is undeniable. He has worked very hard to stabilize this team. And Spalletti's efforts have seen Napoli dominate Serie A this season. And if Napoli wants to do well in the Champions League next season, coach Spalletti must be given enough time and money. I believe that Spalletti will be able to strengthen the team even if the Napoli management supports Spalletti with sufficient funds.

Still, I don't know if Spalletti is leaving Napoli because he had good times there and he won what he wanted to win with his team in this season of Serie A, he said "I no longer have the energy to be up to the standard of what people love so much, so I have to take two steps back and leave" but I think there is still the chance to the Napoli owner to start negotiation with him and hire keep this coach for another season.

https://www.reuters.com/sports/soccer/coach-spalletti-set-sabbatical-admits-leaving-napoli-will-be-hard-2023-06-03/#:~:text=The%2064%2Dyear%2Dold%20boss,in%20press%20conference%20on%20Saturday.

But I think he will ask himself whether he can win anything or lose a lot. The expectations next season will be very high and when Napoli has to let go some of the players or even Osimhen and they can't find a strong enough player to fill that gap, Spalletti knows that there isn't much to be won for him unless he will be able to defend the Serie A title and be successful in the Champions League again. With success also comes the growing expectations of the fans and the management. We also don't know whether he has some very attractive offers to consider. I would not be surprised if he is in negotiations already and is now evaluating his options.

While it is true that Napoli has improved under Spalletti guidance picking a new coach should not be based entirely on recent successes. The management of the team must take long term objectives into account and evaluate room for growth. While Spalletti has definitely been successful there may be opportunity for development and new potential could be unlocked by a different coaching approach. Furthermore winning the UEFA Champions League may not be guaranteed if top players are just purchased. Equally important is creating a cohesive team that shares and carries out a certain vision. The administration of Napoli must carefully consider these variables and reach a choice that strikes a balance between the team short and long term goals.

Of a truth, Inter Milan weren't able to beat Manchester City to the UEFA Champions League title last Saturday but must be commended for they've achieved in the just concluded season.
Considering the amount of clear cut chances created in the that match, Inter Milan were the better side in the Champions League final but just that they weren't lucky enough to win it. It was a good season for Inter and their manager Simone Inzaghi who I think isn't getting all the media praises he deserves

I'm not trying to take anything away from Inter Milan, but they were not the better side in the final. Manchester City dominated the whole game. Inter were just more direct. Their directness led to them having chances, but that doesn't mean they were the better team. Manchester City also created chances that the failed to score. For a team to be the better team in astch, they have to had dominated their opponent.
Inter Milan were good defensively, and players like Lautaro Martinez, Dimarco, Berrella were very good for Inter but they couldn't just finish the work in attack.

As predicted, Manchester City played exceptionally well and dominated the game and ball possession. However, Inter had their own ways to obstruct and counter-press their opponents. In the first half, both teams managed to release 4 shots towards the goal. Nevertheless, in the end, Manchester City successfully broke through Inter's defense in the 68th minute, with Rodri kicking the ball into a difficult-to-reach corner for Oanana. Speaking of the better team, we can evaluate from the match that Manchester City was superior to Inter.

Quite impressed with this coach because indeed, with his current age, which is already 71 years old but still able to compete and even next season, he will return to Serie A with the status of a promoted team, it is very worthy of appreciation.
On the other hand, this is also like repeating history because several decades ago he also brought this club to promotion to Serie A after the previous season in Serie C.
Even if in this case their return to Serie A I can't confidently say they will kick off but for now Ranieri really is something of a reward for this club in his old age.
I really appreciate Ranieri's performance, even though he is very old but he is still able to manage a football team very well. Tinkerman is a unique figure, he is always able to bring a slumping team back to life. His success in bringing Cagliari back to Serie A was very emotional because even when he was young he was also able to make a good impression on the team. I certainly don't expect much from Cagliari in Serie A next season, but at least Cagliari's return with Ranieri will certainly bring back the passion of Serie A and the return of a much-missed figure, namely Tinkermann!
Yes, Claudio Ranieri is bringing new colors to his current club, for a coach, age is not a problem as long as they have a good strategy that can be implemented for a better team game. I too, wouldn't expect much from Cagliari to go straight to the top flight, but I hope they can compete in the mid-table and I think that's more than enough for a club that has just been promoted to the top flight of Italian football.
Expecting a lot from a club that has just been promoted in my opinion is not quite right, because they must first adapt to the competition there, and that takes time.

Based on the final between Inter Milan and Manchester City on Saturday, I think that despite giving it their best, Inter Milan is not fortunate enough to score goals. Even though I am aware that both sides have a chance to score, Inter Milan is adamant that they lack the luck necessary to do so and will do whatever it takes to ensure that the game ends in a tie. The champions league title team will be known by the end of the extra minute, in my opinion, if this occurs.
Manchester City is the champion of this season because they have won nearly three trophies, and this is their first time winning the Champions League. Inter Milan has won the competition at least three times, so their defeat shouldn't be viewed as a problem or a source of shame, because in game we must have the winner and the loser in a match. I think Inter Milan will try harder in the Champions League next season.

so from the rumors that have been spread, I can't wait to see who the coach will replace Spalleti to welcome this summer and hope that Napoli will come back even stronger.

I was wondering, what kind of unwise or irresponsible do you mean @len01? Because after all, last season Spalletti really managed to make Napoli consistently get good results in Serie A but, if you talk about Napoli in the Champions League then obviously it is a completely different tournament. Because in reality, Spalletti's contract has expired this season and at the same time Spalletti chose to rest first and I think that is a reasonable decision, it does not mean that Spalletti is not wise or irresponsible.

Galtier has been rumored to be a potential coach for napoli but i personally will not even agree with such decision to take him as a new coach. Im very glad to see that osimhen has same opinion as me.
Galtier is not even worthy to be signed as a new coach. It will not give a good progress for napoli. Napoli really needs a club that can guide the club to win UCL. Galtier was not the answer for such question

Quote
According to reports in France, Victor Osimhen advised Napoli not to go for his former LOSC coach Christophe Galtier, who was just fired by PSG.

https://punchng.com/osimhen-advises-napoli-against-hiring-galtier/

In my opinion if napoli shall have signed a coach that has ever won UCL. It will make napoli able to know the way to win UCL. Napoli has bigger target since it has been winning scudetto.
Osimhen is now targeting UCL trophy as the main target. It's caused by UCL is the most valuable trophy to be won.

Manchester city has become a winner this year and it's likely napoli got so many motivation from there.
It looks like this will be a new problem for Napoli if they have to appoint Galtier as Spalleti's replacement. We also understand how Galtier handles PSG and he often gets criticized for not being consistent enough to get positive results in several matches. Napoli don't have to rush to determine their next coach and make further observations so that the candidate for a new coach can be commensurate with Spalleti or more than that.

Osimhen also has good views regarding Galtier and his advice will certainly be taken into consideration by the Napoli management. Indeed, the champion league title is one of the dreams of any football player, including Osimhen, but Napoli must also maintain its performance again next season to defend the Scudetto title.

Actually it is quite difficult to find a coach who can replace Luciano Spalleti. And actually I also don't really agree if Napoli choose Galtier because I feel he doesn't suit Napoli's game. Actually the most suitable coach and has almost the same strategy as Spalleti is Luis Enrique. But unfortunately Luis Enrique is not interested in Napoli. and Enrique says he is more interested in clubs from the Premier League. So that the name Luis Enrique has been crossed out from the list of candidates for the Napoli coach. Antonio Conte also seems to have been crossed off the list.

But a few days ago I read Spalletti has his own views and suggested a name that could help replace him as a suitable coach for Napoli. If I remember correctly, Spalleti suggested bringing in Vincenzo Italiano, who is now coach of Fiorentina. And I also see that Vincenzo is indeed a quite suitable coach for Napoli.
and to bring in a coach who has won the Champions League Trophy I think it will be quite difficult for Napoli.
