Napoli officially appointed coach Rudi Garcia as its new coach next season. The former Al-Nassr coach seems to have received great attention from the Napoli club management to become the new coach for Osimhen and his friends. Rudi Garcia is a coach who has considerable experience in Europe's top leagues and once brought Lille to win Ligue 1 in season 10/11, besides that he has also managed other teams such as Roma, Marseille and Lyon. We will see his work with Napoli next season and I hope he can provide his best strategy to defend the Scudetto title next season.
A bit surprised why Napoli owner choose him because before this news appears Napoli has linked to several big names such as Conte or Vincenzo Italiano and about Rudi Garcia his latest achievement with Al Nassr is doesn't really good that Garcia was failed to bringing Al Nassr to became an the champion of Arabian league and this also caused he was sacked but indeed he is experience manager and Serie A is not something new for him because on 2013-2016 he was train Roma but Garcia has a difficult job in this team because he have to bringing Napoli to defend the title and besides that Garcia must be able to convince the key players such as Osimhen, Kim Min-Jae, or Khvicha Kvaratskhelia not to move to other clubs and i personally a bit doubt he can do his job but let see later whether Napoli owner has make good decision to choose him or not

I agree with you. Despite dominating Serie A last season, there is no guarantee that they will perform well next season. Napoli's performance is very erratic. Also, teams like Inter, Juventus, and AC Milan will try to increase their strength as they did not play well last season. And so if Napoli can't strengthen their weak points, it's unlikely that this team will challenge for the title next season. But personally, I don't expect a good performance from Napoli next season. I guess next season we will see the dominance of Juventus and Inter Milan in Serie A.
Even though napoli will be using the same squads for the next season and i do believe if the performance from the club will be different compared when spaletti was coaching the club. That's why osimhen urges napoli's management to pick the new coach carefully. It's caused by there have been some candidates which are not even reliable to be listed as candidates for the napoli. I was referring to Galtier who had been sacked by PSG..
Osimhen has warned the club not to sign galtier as a new coach since he knew how bad he was when managing the club. Galtier was lucky enough to win the farmer league. The situation in the serie a is far different compared with league 1.
It's caused by the competition in serie a is far harder compared with league 1. I wanna say that if league 1 is far easy compared with serie a.
Everyone knew that as a farmer league. that's why PSG was winning the trophy.

Even if the squad is unchanged, Napoli will be able to dominate Serie A. It is difficult to maintain such consistency. As the coach is changing, its impact will definitely be seen in the performance of the players in the coming season. Luciano Spalletti was an excellent coach. I cannot consider Galtier as a replacement for Luciano Spalletti. I don't think Galtier has been able to do very well with PSG. PSG's performance from the start of the season to the SSH was erratic.

Napoli's squad is also unlikely to remain unchanged. If Napoli signs a new coach, they are likely to make some major changes within their squad. Napoli will probably decide to sell Osimhen. Because it is possible to make a lot of money by selling Osimhen. And Napoli could strengthen their squad.

Well, I personally feel that the big Serie A teams next season will have qualities that are not much different and that means, it seems that no one is really going to dominate the victory in every match. Because after all, the scudetto winning team also seems like Napoli will most likely experience a decline in performance because of the big changes that will occur. But at the same time, other teams like Milan, Inter, Juventus and some other teams I'm sure they will be able to get good results too. Therefore, I don't think there is a team that can be a strong candidate to win the Scudetto and thus, the title race next season is likely to be more competitive.
The Seria gets bad news. Three clubs made it to the finals and returned to Italy with trophies as evidence of their hard effort. Starting with the club that will suffer a drop in performance next season, Napoli, because a new manager have taken over as potential replacement for Luciano Spalleti. Napoli did not back down, and the board of directors appointed a coach with immediate effect. It's great to have Rudi Garcia back in action. The former AS Roma, Lille, and Al Nasser manager has filled the vacancy left by Luciano Spalleti. He will work harder to get his new club up and running.

I agree. Because if we compare Inter Milan and AC Milan, there is a clear difference, especially at the end of the season. Inter Milan is far more consistent. They even got better at the end of the season.
In the past season, their difference is very small from their standings in Serie A to their results in Champions League. Inter Milan won against AC Milan in Champions League semi finals and that's all. They played one more match, the final and failed even they did played well in the final. In Serie A, they are at the third and fourth position on the table at the season ending so no big difference at all.

Quote
And speaking of the last 9 seasons, it is true that Inter Milan is still much better. It's just like you said that AC Milan has improved in the past few seasons
The performance of AC Milan got improved since the appearance of Ibrahimovic in San Siro after about ten years. He enlightened many young players in AC Milan and boost them to play better. We saw how AC Milan young players admired Ibrahimovic a lot and gave that Swedish striker very high recognition when Ibrahimovic had a farewell on the field weeks ago.

Quote
and in the season that just ended Milan almost lost a ticket to the Champions League.
They got it and that's all. It's not big deal how they got it. Both Inter Milan and AC Milan struggled in that race and they only got those positions at very ending weeks of season when Roma, Juventus got point reduction and Roma paid more resources for Europa League.

For Inter Milan and Ac Milan, these two teams are actually quite consistent every season. Both are also the most often get tickets to the Champions League. So I think even in the coming season these two teams will definitely remain consistent with their usual performance. Even though Milan almost lost their performance at the end of last season, in the end they were still able to get a ticket to the Champions League. I personally would like to see Juventus back in contention. this season they are not lucky enough. and I hope that in the next season Juventus will be more fortunate.
Compared to Inter, I think Milan has been the most inconsistent team in reaching the Champions League in the last 9 seasons. Milan have only won 3 tickets to the Champions League in the last 9 seasons including next season, while Inter are far more frequent.

Milan has gotten better in the last 3 seasons where they were also able to win the Serie A title in the 2021-2022 season. This season Milan failed to reach the Champions League final as their city rivals managed to advance with a good win, but unfortunately Inter failed because Manchester City were better. Meanwhile, Serie A is also sending its 4 best team next season to the Champions League where Inter, Napoli, Milan and Lazio are participants. Inter deserve to be the favorites after reaching the final this season, but Milan and Napoli are also worthy.
I agree. Because if we compare Inter Milan and AC Milan, there is a clear difference, especially at the end of the season. Inter Milan is far more consistent. They even got better at the end of the season. And speaking of the last 9 seasons, it is true that Inter Milan is still much better. It's just like you said that AC Milan has improved in the past few seasons. and in the season that just ended Milan almost lost a ticket to the Champions League. But because Juventus was sanctioned with a 10-point deduction, luck was still on Milan's side because it immediately rose to the top 4 in the standings and officially won a Champions League ticket again.

the most surprising thing is that Lazio can be superior to Inter Milan and Ac Milan in the standings this season. And Lazio managed to end the season in 2nd place. And that is a great achievement.

Well, if Mourinho stays in Roma, what does it mean that the club's management agrees to provide him with opportunities to strengthen the squad. In this light, Jose's rejection of the offer to head Al-Ahli for a lot of money looks quite significant. However, everything can still change and I think that Mourinho will not expect the very beginning of the season and will announce his plans in the near future. Roma definitely needs to strengthen in order to qualify for more in the upcoming season.
It depends on the decision from roma. I remember when mourinho was complaining regarding his budget in the winter transfer season last year. Mourinho was claiming the club was giving very small budget for winter transfer season.
Tiago pinto was saying if the club tries to compliant with FFP in serie a. Pinto was using FFP to be one of main reason why roma was not able to give a lot of money for mourinho to build the club.
I hope this season will not be the same like winter transfer season in the previous year. It will be so bad if mou will get small budget to buy the player in this summer transfer season.
I hope that will not happen again or mou may feel frustrated with it. Mou has show its capability to build a squad with low budget.

Juventus don't seem like they are thinking of sacking Allegri after this kind of a season. I know that points deduction decision killed their chance of making it to the Champions League group stage. But I just can't see the big picture that simple. Because Juventus couldn't play consistent as a team mostly. They periodically started a good form maybe but these times didn't last very long. If they had a consistency similar to Atletico Madrid in the La Liga earlier then even this punishment wouldn't have caused them to be out of top 4.

Juventus need some change about the management style in my opinion. Allegri has won the Serie A titles 5 times in a row of course and he has my big respect. But I think the same strategies aren't enough to fight for the title to the end now.
I have a different view from you regarding the Juventus coach and Juventus' performance last season. Because I still feel Allegri is the most suitable coach for Juventus even for the season to come. Because if without deducting points then in the season that just ended they could actually finish in 2nd place. So we can say Juventus' performance in Serie A is even more consistent than Inter and Milan this season. In fact, I doubt there is a coach who can maintain the consistency and mentality of the players when the club is in a condition that continues to be plagued by a barrage of problems. even Juventus started the season with many injured players in the team. but Allegri was actually able to overcome all of that and still make Juventus compete in the race for Champions league tickets. it's just that they Juventus had bad luck because they had to get a point deduction sanction.

I think roma has tried their best to hire one of the best coach but it has not been easy for them to get the best players into the club, this is just because they can't afford it. If roma has been able to sign in good players , with coach like Mourinho I'm very sure the team will bring lots of trophies. Mourinho has tried his best for roma, so whatever the team's bringing forth as result it is not the fault of the coach because the coach is playing a good role and the management can only bring in players they can afford according to their financial capability.

God is great
Roma aren't willing to spend money but they want to get trophies and to be in top of Serie A table which is quite difficult to achieve. Mourinho did what was possible to do even though that he and his team missed some easy games.
Mourinho is attracted by PSG and Al Ahli from Saudi Arabia. It was reported that he is willing to continue with Roma but the offer of Saudis seems attractive. For PSG, it looks like he will reject their offer. I don't know why he didn't want to change experience and try his luck with PSG.
I don't think Roma don't want to bring in good players at high prices, but the club's financial condition can't fulfill it. We know, Roma have not achieved any title in a long time, I think the income from sponsors is not as big as Juventus. The condition of post-covid-19 clubs must pay attention to their finances, especially to stay away from FFP sanction. Juventus can be an example, they have many sponsors but cannot manage their money properly. Buying players at a price and consider their finances is the wisest thing to do, and Roma have done that. IMO

You are right. Roma is not as financially sound as other Serie A teams such as Juventus or Inter Milan. Because of this Roma management cannot afford to buy players at high prices. They make an average squad. But a few years ago they made a wise decision by hiring Mourinho. Mourinho has managed to strengthen the Roma team. The team won the Conference Cup last season and reached the Europa League final this season. Probably now Roma management will get better sponsors and earn more money from sponsors. This season the Roma management will likely provide Mourinho with big funds to add more talented players to the squad. I'm not saying it will happen but it's likely.

If Mourinho leaves Roma, it won't necessarily have a bad effect on the team. He won't be the first or the last coach. Especially this season, Roma have not done well in Serie A. They barely stayed in the Europa League next season. And that's only thanks to Juventus being fined.
The results obtained by AS Roma are clear, but AS Roma still cannot be better in the hands of other coaches. Because in my opinion the results obtained by AS Roma through coach Mourinho are also not too bad even though AS Roma also benefited from the fines experienced by Juventus. I also want to see how AS Roma can develop next season by fighting hard in several important competitions for them and one of them is in Serie A apart from the European League.

As far as I remember and I am aware that AS Roma has improved its performance because of Mourinho because before Morinho became the head coach at AS Roma, the reality is that AS Roma was always difficult to finish in the European zone. Therefore, it is not surprising that AS Roma plans to extend Mourinho's contract because I am quite sure, if Mourinho leaves, it is likely that AS Roma's performance will fall again.
Mourinho has become Roma's head coach for the 2021/2022 season. Let's take a look at how Roma have played up to this point. In 2018, Roma finished third and qualified for the Champions League. In 2019, Roma finished sixth and qualified for the Europa League. In 2020, Roma finished fifth in the Europa League. So Mourinho didn't have much impact on the team's performance. There's no doubt he's a great coach. But there's no need to exaggerate his merits.
If we look at and understand the condition of AS Roma a little better, it seems that Jose Mourinho has the goal of winning a trophy in the coming season, especially if he made it to the final round yesterday.
With this Jose Mourinho may have a reason to stay at AS Roma and maybe he believes there is still hope.[/left

Hopefully you are right, because if all the Serie A teams had will have qualities that are not much different it would be very interesting. Previously it was Napoli who dominated in Serie A, but at that time the other teams were not doing well, especially Juventus who were having a nightmare, they got points dropped. If not, maybe they will end last season in second place, because their mentality drops too when they get a drop in points due to penalty.

Mourinho's future at Roma is still not completely clear. He is actually okay with staying there but he has signaled that he is open for reasonable offers at the same time. You know there have been some interest by PSG side recently but there is still no update on this situation. Maybe they want to take their time before making the right decision.

Mourinho said that he would inform the board right away if he gets an offer from PSG side. In this case I don't think Roma would be able to keep him because such offer would be much more attracting to any manager. But if Mourinho stays one more season then he will surely be expected to improve the success rate on the last year on his contract.
I think it's all about him getting a much bigger offer or not. If a huge team offers him a contract then of course he would leave, like if Ancelotti decides he wants to retire, and Mourinho is offered, of course he will leave, or if some Arabian club goes berzerk and offers him 50+ million a year, then he could accept that as well. But anything else, like any not so great club, he will not be going anywhere because he has something close to that already.

The next thing they should be aiming at should be the league title, they may not win it anytime soon but they could work on it for the future, at least be in the top four and go to champions league for the time being, and if that happens then it will be a lot better for the club and its future as well.

What Mourinho has done at Roma is really commendable. Despite the lack of proper players he wanted he still managed to really compete with what squad he had in the last season. I think Roma should really buy some good players to make it more competitive. Mourinho has really done a lot over the years and I feel that if Roma had deep pockets and gave Mourinho what he wanted then he would have brought some really big achievements for Roma.
Right now Ndicka seems to be only one being bought by Roma so far, let's see what target they will be able to finalize by the end of the transfer window.

Roma has improved without a shadow of a doubt. José Mourinho has done well with Roma. But that does not mean he can’t do better. I think with some proper funding he will be able to achieve better results with Roma. He had a lot of problems regarding not having world-class players that he is used to managing and also he had a lot of problems with injuries in the squad. Even with all those problems, the result that he had achieved was great. And I believe he should start targeting more players which you want to bring into the squad.

You didn't include that Mourinho gave the club UEFA Europa Conference League in 2021–22. You should have also added that he took them to the Europa league finals last season. He has turned a low-funded club into one of the best in Europe. He has been able to utilize the few players at his disposal to lift the fortune of the club. It was unfortunate that the team failed to get a champions league ticket this season but he deserves to be appreciated because of his technical prowess. It would have been more interesting to see Mourinho in the champions league because his presence adds some flavor to the competition due to his unique personality. The Special one will like to remain in Roma to see what this season will bring. There was speculation that he would leave the team but it seems the love the fans have for him has motivated him to remain in Italy. He might not have achieved much but he has contributed to the growth of the club.
It doesn't make sense for anyone to say Mourinho has not contributed to the team he coaches, so if any of them do then it is misleading. Roma failed to win the title this season, it's disappointing but after all Mourinho and Roma have worked hard to get it.

Roma have improved under Mourinho in recent seasons but it has always been difficult to win titles because the league and competition are so competitive. Roma and Mourinho have the chance and chance to achieve it next season, so it's not over yet. Mourinho just really needs support so that his team is stronger, so the management of Rome must prepare something for him.
