The Roma team can't win in the last 5 matches in Serie A. Draw three matches and lose two. However, Roma performed well in the first leg of the Europa League match against Leverkusen. I think Mourinho's target this season is the Europa League title. Mourinho is not too worried about Serie A matches. This is the reason why the team is consistently playing well in Europa League matches despite its poor performance in Serie A. Roma won the home match against Leverkusen 1-0. In the second leg they will want to draw by any means to qualify for the final.

This is what most players face when ever they leave England leagues to play for top clubs in other leagues ( mostly those leaving as a result of greed or disagreement with the former clubs), so  It's not new.

With their current condition, it is quite natural for Roma to make a strategy like this because they are aware that the conditions of the Europa League are still possible, especially with their goal deficit victory.

Mourinho and Roma know that even if they win the match with Bologna and have same total points as AC Milan (61 points), they will have 4 points less than Lazio at the fourth position. With 3 remaining matches in Serie A and with 4 points difference, it's very difficult for Roma to beat Lazio and take over the fourth position.

It's more realistic for Roma to focus on Europa League. They already won the first leg in semi final and they will go to Europa League final match if they have at least a draw in a second leg semi final. After that, they only need to win one more match, the final to be one of representatives of Serie A in Champions League 2023 - 2024 season.

Serie A in this season is very chaotic because of investigation and punishment against Juventus as well as how the punishment was reverted.

I ask myself that what will happen if both AC Milan and Roma win Champions League and Europa League. I am not fully understand about rules for such situation. What will happen with other clubs in top four of Serie A if both AC Milan and Roma end this season beyond top four but they are champions in Europe?

At least Juventus have tried their best to maintain their best position in second place at the top of the standings, and fortunately the opponents facing Juventus were not too difficult to beat, so Juventus took advantage of this moment to win this match and managed to get additional points on the standings. Napoli should be easy to beat, but I noticed something strange because there seemed to be drama, like losing on purpose to get very high stakes, but that was just a prediction because it seemed impossible for Napoli to lose to a team that should be easy to beat.

Roma lost two points maybe but their chances are still alive for top four now. Because Milan's losing to Spezia made Roma even close the gap with them by one point. There are three weeks left and the gap is only two points. Nothing is impossible at this moment. Roma and Milan both are competing in European cups now as well and we can see them like they are fighting under the same conditions now.

Milan are in the Champions League which is the most prestigious tournament of course. But both of them care about these tournaments right now. If Juventus don't get a punishment again then Roma will have no choice other than winning the Europa League title as well in case of not finishing in top four.

Hence the final weeks in the Serie A can be quite interesting between Milan and Roma.

Poor Pogba, he left Manchester United for some consideration but he ended up unable to prove himself. His team Juve won their games making them securing the second spot for now.

Despite Roma's poor performance, they still have a good chance in the Europa League so Jose Mourinho must take advantage of this opportunity to bring Roma to win the Europa League this season. If this works then their achievements will be even more perfect this season.

I can't remember that a coach has been fired when he reached the Champions League final and probably becomes 3rd in the league and reaches the final in the national cup, here Coppa Italia. If they win one title, reached the Champions League final and finish the season with a rank in the Champions League qualifiers (apart from the chance to qualify when they win the Champions League), I doubt that there is any doubt Inzaghi is the right man. Inter has so many issues right now that the end of this season is looking quite bright.

It's even worst compared with the match against sevilla. Roma is just getting a very small ball possessions. It was not also able to create a proper counter attack. Bologna was always giving pressure and i don't even know what things that made the performance from roma goes up and down drastically. I can still tolerate it if it would happen in one or two matches but this is very often for as roma. Belotti, wijnaldum have been also playing.

It seems like that mourinho has more works to rebuild the mentality from its players again.

The match was played and until the end of the minute, no points were scored, no kicks resulted in goals on both sides. It was strange, even A.S Roma performed poorly, and all their attacks did not produce any results as if there was no spirit in this match. Juventus have managed to keep their pace in Serie A quite well after being able to beat Cremonese in today game. They recorded 3 consecutive wins which made Juventus safely ranked 2nd this week. The match against Cremonese did require a pretty hard effort from Juventus because Cremonese's strong defense in the first half was enough to frustrate Juventus players to score goals but in the second half Juventus seemed to find Cremonese gaps in weaknesses by successfully scoring 2 goals scored by Fagioli and Bremer which made them locked in a win in today match.

An additional 3 points made Juventus collect 69 poim and keep the distance from Inter Milan in 3rd place with a difference of 3 points. Thus Juventus have 3 matches to come where if 2 more matches they can win they automatically have secured 1 ticket to the Champions league.
