Napoli's performance really disappointed me. They failed to qualify for the semi-finals due to defeat in the first leg. They lost the first leg 1-0. They should have performed carefully. I wouldn't say that Napoli played badly in the second leg, Napoli dominated the match. And in the whole match, they played an attacking strategy. The Napoli team could not win the match despite their excellent performance. But AC Milan's match strategy was very good. And the performance of their defenders impressed me. With such a strong defense, the team can qualify for the finals.

Apart from them having to give up the semi-final ticket which now belongs to Milan, this is also a bit bad because 3 times in a row they have had to accept defeat from Milan and could only score 1 goal against Milan and even then in the last minute which didn't make any difference there.
This is really very regrettable but indeed only Serie A is now their focus even though they are comfortable.

The conditions are not very good for them in the domestic league but it is possible for this week even though they lost quite painfully because their conditions and opportunities were very good but maybe indeed their focus is for tomorrow because remembering some players are also a little bit not too forced here because the second leg of the Champions Legaue is in sight.

Intermilan didn't have proper attackers now. This may still continue until the end of season. It's actually different from ac milan. Ac milan is winning against napoli in the champion league. It's likely that the chance for intermilan to be qualified for the semi final is pretty small at this moment. Intermilan played so badly against monza. Intermilan has made more than twenty in accurate shoots.6 shots were on target but no goal from intermilan which is very embarassing result from intermilan against monza. It seems like that if intermilan will be losing in the upcoming match if the clubs keep perform the worst like that. I was following Juventus excitedly in the league despite having that punishment. They had a really incredible winning streak in league matches and this was promising for them considering the possibility of qualifying for a tournament next season. However their recent results are really a big disappointment. I mean something interesting happened in the meantime and Juventus started to perform much worse.

I don't know whether the reason might be related to the Europa League. Because technically it is their only chance to qualify for the Champions League again. They need to win that title there. It isn't an easy task and the road is still long now. But maybe they had some concentration issues on both tournaments. Anyway I would have waited for them to show some passion in at least one of the opponents - Lazio or Sassuolo.

Their next match is a home one against Napoli. Maybe they can put an end to this series with a win. Because Napoli are comfortable for the title and they don't care about the remaining matches much. Their huge loss against Milan before must be telling us a lot.

Both of Napoli and Milan are focused mainly on the Champions League at the moment. They are playing the second leg of the draw against each other right now as well. Napoli seem quite dominant for now but it is still 0-0 while we are getting close to the end of the first half. If Giroud was able to score that penalty Milan would have been even more advantageous now. This is really interesting me on one hand. Because Napoli have been much more impressive than Milan in general this season.

However in the Champions League Napoli can't play that much comfortable against Milan. Maybe this is due to being experienced as well but I don't know. There was a match Napoli destroyed Liverpool home in the group stage for example.

Yeah exactly. This week has been one of the worst match weeks for most of top teams in the league. Only Roma and Lazio were able to get a win and they were really easy ones as well. Of course there is a reason behind those point losses as well. Their mind must have been busy with their matches in European cups. However Roma were also in the same situation but they didn't want to care less about their Serie A match. Because it was another important match for them to keep themselves in top four.
Milan are lucky to finish the week in top four anyway thanks to Inter's unexpected loss. Seriously how can Inter lose that match? Grin

Inter tried really hard to win that match. They had also made a lot of attacks. But sadly, none of them were actually very good or well planned in my opinion. And I could feel that Inter was actually getting very frustrated toward the end of the match. And that frustration was the only reason they ended up conceding.

Actually, when I was watching the match, it actually felt like that was the only chance that Monza got. They ended up converting that. But all the chances that Inter got were not converted. No one actually can blame them. They are the only ones to blame for the loss.

I think that's a bit about being a "big club" as well, you have to grease the right hands as well as being a good team. If you are a good team but the federation of your nation is out to get you, it could be refs, it could be VAR it could be points, anything bad could happen to you. If you want to be big, and I mean really big, then you need to focus on how you could convince them to do nothing about what you do.

I agree that -15 points was an overkill for what has happened, and there is an obvious situation where Juventus is being attacked right now, even as a foreigner who has never been to Italy and has absolutely no fandom over Juventus, I can see that clearly so that means Juventus must have pissed some people off.
