I cant say they have improved a lot, their pre season matches were not that good although they have used the new players (Pogba and DiMaria). Pogba will not play in the first match, as well as some other players due to injury such as Chiesa and Szczesny. I wont say Juventus are Superior now, I'll what they can do with what they have now and what they can do in the real competition.

Even after having early lead through Lukaku it's still needed some hard work from Inter to win this first match of new season against Lecce with Dumfries D. came from bench and done injury time goal to give them full three points in this match, statistics are showing heavily favorite Inter were in full control still this was not easy like this as Lecce defense was well aware of this all Inter attack, and they have done good job at the end.

While in second half Lecce were in good shape, and they were not allowing Inter attack to play all their own which was good strategy by their coach but still they were unlucky to have goal in very last minute of injury time and fail to have their first point of this new season.

I'm also skeptical about betting on Juventus, it's really hard to predict, but I'm leaning towards +1.5 handicap for Sassuolo @1.68, I feel even if Juve manage to win this match it won't be with a big score, maybe 1-0 or 2-1 and probably won't even win, they have a lot of injured players and that could affect them, and I remember Sassuolo playing really well against big clubs last season.

The problem is that consistency has always been a big enough scourge for clubs in Serie A.
Reflecting on last season they experienced various ups and downs in performance, not only one club but almost all clubs there including big clubs experienced the same problem.
Now Milan's hope is still there at least with a win they can lift their performance even though the league is still very long.

It is a decent start for Roma to the new season. Maybe they won only 1-0 but they had a big potential to have a more comfortable score as well. Their performance in the first half was great and it went down a little in the second half. This was a risky score for them because Salernitana found more chances in the second half. Roma must be grateful for not conceding the equalizer. The expectations are bigger from them therefore they don't have much luxury to make simple point losses.

Napoli I had a bit of doubt about his abilities this season, because Napoli had been left by Koulibaly, Mertens and Insigne, They are also has become a player of Napoli in recent years. A very important victory today for Lazio. Totally disappointed about the episode of the goalkeeper and the goal for a distraction as Zaccagni did not notice the opponent's arrival. I really liked Provedel and Romagnoli and Cancellieri. They were superb. The first matches are always the most difficult because not all the teams are at their best, those who have championship or cup ambitions are already at the top and try to take advantage to gain some points that would be in the continuation of the championship.
