A bizarre end to the Juventus match, with no less than 4 red cards at the end. Where do you still see such denouements? Great for the neural football spectator. The worst of all is that the goal (the 3-2) was wrongly disallowed. Don't they have VAR there that can check things well there? I think the VAR should have seen this, now Juventus has just been robbed of 2 important points. Juventus already had a bad/moderate start, and it has only gotten worse. I also did not expect the 1-1 of Atalanta.

Roma must have a very good defensive line. They have only 1 defeat at the moment and I can say that they went well.
They need to improve both. In defense, improve it stronger to reduce conceded goals. In offense, they must improve the conversion rate from chances, expected goals to real goals. They must achieve such improvements if they want to not only end in top four but also to win Scudetto.
As Roma need consistency and mental confidence and most importantly need additional players in the midfield and defenders because practically pelegrini, Cristiano has no replacement, defender is not too good if Mancini is injured there is no replacement either.
If the opposing team has a good quality of finishing touch, they have already lost to As Roma. That's why As Roma can lose against Udinese.

If Roma's goal is to win the title, Mourinho will definitely have to learn from his mistakes and correct them. Otherwise they won't be able to climb the points table. If there is no consistency in performance, it is not possible to win the title. Roma's performance this season has been quite stable and consistent. But their performance against Udinese disappointed everyone. Mourinho should try to strengthen their defense. Otherwise, they will lose more points against strong teams in the future.
However, Rome looks to have decreased when compared to last season. Despite having won a few games, Roma still has problems in the team.
Roma must immediately improve the performance of the squad if they want to fight for the trophy. but if they are without targets this season, of course, they can play as they please. even without a target certainly will not produce anything this season.
Next up is Atalanta, we'll see how Roma will face a tough team.

I don't think Roma's performance has weakened compared to the previous season. Their performance is still quite strong. But they are not able to maintain the consistency of performance. Their forwards are still not strong enough. Roma's performances would have been stronger if Dybala could have performed better on a regular basis. But Dybala is not a regular scorer. Roma should have brought in another experienced striker. If Mourinho can get this team to qualify for the Champions League, that would be a good enough result for Roma.

Serie A is a very tight one this year so don't expect top 5 teams to have winning streaks or 3-4+ of winning games because we can see clearly that everyone is fighting for points now and every points count for each of the teams. Also teams involved into European competitions , will sometimes prefer to risk the game in Serie A in order to get points in UCL or Europa League or even Conference. Meantime , let's see how Inter performs today against Plzen. Grin

I think that series in 3-4 games will meet quite often. The first six teams now have 4 wins out of 6 games - this is not the worst indicator, and given that some clubs will be able to solve their problems that they experienced at the start of the championship, their performance will be even more stable. And in general, the situation when the leaders often lose points is quite acceptable - you can bet on underdogs and have more frequent wins than in La Liga or the Premier League.

Even though they won, AS Roma's game could not be said to be good. Even against Empoli who are below them the quality is still very difficult.
But this victory can add to their confidence again after last week swallowed a very embarrassing result. This is an important asset for them for the next match.
if you look at the statistics, Rome is still losing to the host Empoli. which is in terms of quality under Roma. lucky Dybala scored early in the first half. and Abraham's goal midway through the second half.
Roma did not appear so strong. but they are better enough. they gain momentum to continue winning in the next match in Serie A and the Europa League.
But they can't continue in that situation, against a weaker club maybe it won't be that much of a problem and they will still win the game because they are more effective. But if they were dealing with the same qualities they would really be at a disadvantage. Jose Mourinho must immediately fix this, otherwise the situation at the time against Udinese will repeat itself.

Juventus had to play the first half as actively as he played the second, then there would be no need to recoup. But Juventus is not easy now, there are too many injured players. I think that in this match the referee attracted too much attention to himself, penalties, red cards and definitely he liked all this action. As well as the canceled goal, what was the reason, Bonucci did not touch the ball, or was offside counted because he distracted the goalkeeper?
Juventus is done for the whole season. Allegri won't make it through the entire season. They should  bring in Zidane or Tuchel. And maybe get in Tuchel or Zidane.  As regards the match, if we looked at it critically, we would have noticed that Bonucci was actually onside compared to Candreva's position near the corner flag. Okay, so supposing he was offside, did he touch the ball or interfere with the goalkeeper's line of vision? No.

Youre right bror, play in Europe makes the performance of some clubs decline due to the tight schedule of matches, I think this opportunity can be used by other teams who did not qualify for Europe to provide strong competition in the league, the tight schedule of matches of course forced the coach to good at rotating players otherwise they will have a bad impact at the league level because it is not uncommon for many players to get injured due to fatigue and ultimately benefit other teams.

Juventus’s match was quite dramatic. Salernitana was leading 2-0 in the first half, but Milik's head-to-head goal at 90+4 was cancelled. If he hadn't been cancelled, they would have turned the game 3-2. Bonucci missed the penalty but managed to follow the position very well and score the goal.  It was a really good match. Juventus suddenly had 9 players left in overtime. There are injuries and red cards, they will have a hard time next week.
And by the way, the removal of Milik is a big stupidity on the part of the referee, if he canceled goal when Milik celebrated a goal scored and took off his shirt, then he also had to cancel his red card when he canceled the goal. I will note for myself Marchenaro as a dubious quality referee.

I must say that it was one of the most eventful matches. In the beginning of the match, Salernitana had a really good start. There is no doubt in my mind that they had a good chance of winning the match. After the break, Juventus started playing much better than they did in the first half. They understood how to break the defense of their opponent. As a matter of fact, they did not disappoint at all. Despite almost winning the game, the last goal was ruled out for offside and they were unable to win the game. In the end, there was a lot of drama involved in the match, especially towards the end. This is a good result for Salernitana in my opinion. However, this is something that will be very hard for Juventus to digest as well.
Whatever the case, Juventus started this season better than the previous one and it leaves hope that when Di Maria, Chiesa and Pogba return to the squad, they can be a very good team.

Yes, this is of course an encouraging result for Romanisti after being made by his opponent twice in a row with a pretty striking score.  This victory is also very important to maintain the opportunity to continue to be in a pretty good position and only one point ahead of the leaders.  In addition, this victory is also a capital to increase the confidence of Roma players and to prepare for the second week of the Europa League.

In the second week of Europe, Roma will host HJK Helsinki at the Stadio Olimpico
With the changes that Mourinho has made this season and added with the host status, I think Roma have a great chance of getting their first win in the group stage of the Europa League. And yesterday's win against Empoli proved that Roma's condition is a little better
I hope so but roma was not doing so good for now. So far as roma was loosing against ludogrets that might given a huge impact to the its performance. In my opinion if as roma can win against HJK easily in the europe league. Roma win against empoli yesterday but it doesn't mean if it will become an accurate data to make sure that if roma can perform better against helsinki. Im predicting if the match could be draw or roma will be winning with small score.
The performance of as roma under mourinho is not yet stable at this moment.

By the management reacting do you mean they should fire Allegri already? I know the team isn't playing as good as they should and the manager obviously will have to answer some questions, but i still think it is too early to fire him, yeah in the premier league a big club like Chelsea have already sacked their manager this season and replaced him, i think they were able to do that because they already had his replacement lined up in their mind and had the finances too, maybe that is not so with Juventus, they may not be able to get a better manager now, and so they have to choose to give Allegri more time, maybe until the middle of the season.
Juventus is still not too bad at the start of this season because Massimiliano allegri squad have not tasted defeat so far. Only the performance of Juventus appearance has not been good enough in the previous few matches which made the Juventus squad lose full points for nothing. So I think the management hasn't been that quick to decide on Allegri performance at the start of the season. Surely the Juventus management will give Allegri time to improve his performance in the upcoming match. Juventus poor performance could not be separated from the absence of Di Maria in the previous few matches.
Juventus is big team and wins for each matches is mandatory to keep their chance for race title so draw against weak teams is not so different to lose and they had lost several chances to get full points from their previous matches against weak teams so this proven Juventus has starting the league with poor performance and sacked rumours for Allegri was appears because some of fans didn't satisfied with his works and now Allegri should be solved this issues because their contender such as Napoli or Milan can playing better than them and tomorrow Juventus will play against Benfica on champion league this shouldn't be failed again because if Juventus failed to win i am sure the management will considering his position

In that Match Dybala could have played well, made 1 goal and 1 assist but if Pellegrini had managed the penalty kick then it would have been a better win with the score 3-1. But unfortunately, Pellegrini failed to score a goal from a penalty kick which made Roma once again only get a narrow 2-1 win, even though Roma did not have a tough opponent in the Europa League. If playing against a mediocre team in the Europa League still can't win, then it looks like Roma will get consecutive defeats for the next two matches in Serie A. Because Roma will play against Atalanta and then against Inter and indeed, Roma can still hold a draw but I personally not so sure because Roma still have to play their main squad against mediocre teams in the Europa League if they want to win and that will make the rotation of players not going well.

There was a turning point for Empoli after Pellegrini missed the penalty but the red card ended all the hopes left for them. It wasn't an easy win at all for Roma above all else. Empoli also had so many goal opportunities but they weren't as capable as Roma as for finishing. Dybala was the savior for Roma indeed by one goal and an assist. Since he came to Roma there has been a significant improvement in his performance (3 goals, 2 assists in 6 league games). They needed this win a lot to refresh themselves after that horrible Udinese loss.
In this match, we can indeed see that Empoli are more determined to play because they really want to maximize the draw as before but it seems that this result is not the case with Roma.
They created a lot of chances even if you look at Statistics it is clear that Roma lost but the problem is that their attack line is not very good so the final result is still Roma's victory.
even though they won the match, AS Roma's performance was still not satisfactory, they have not fully recovered and there are many things they need to improve in order to return to their slick performance like the match at the beginning of the season.
in this match stats Roma lost all in all they only played effectively until they could win the game, relying on the counter-attack and taking advantage of the best opportunities, but it was not a good performance for AS Roma against a team of lower quality than them.
I hope Jose Mourinho can lift AS Roma's performance again in order to be able to compete tightly at the top of the standings for the Scudetto this season.

I agree with you, statistically the performance of AS Roma is still not satisfactory, but I saw the performance of Paulo Dybala made the difference in the match against Empoli. I think Dybala was the best player in this game by scoring one goal and providing one assist. The Argentina international brought Jose Mourinho's men back to winning ways.

Juventus continues to perform awfully and the team has no sense of identity. But the game against Salernitana also had one of the biggest VAR mistakes since the system got introduced to the world of football a few years ago. It's unbelievable that with today's technology, the entire playing surface isn't covered with multiple cameras to cover all possible angles. Candreva was more than 50cm closer to his own goal line than Bonucci was in the penalty area and the Refereeing Committee claims they didn't have that particular footage in the VAR room. Disgraceful.

The thing is, there is a possibility for the match to be replayed according to different media reports. Apparently if the referee's report shows that a mistake was made that directly influenced the result and final outcome of the match, it can be replayed. Even if that was the case, and Juventus' goal cancellation is the direct result of a non-existing offside, there is no way in hell they will let a Juve match be replayed. Not that Juventus deserves a second chance the way they are playing.

Allegri is successfully steering the ship to the bottom of the sea. The management has to react before it's too late. I don't think they will.
Regardless if it's the referee's fault and the VAR then I don't think Juventus are at their best. I don't think they are a strong team this season even though the big name is a bit scary for opponents, but the form this team has is much different. Juventus have 4 draws to date where Fiorentina, Roma, Samdoria and Salernitana managed to make them just 1 point per match. It was clearly bad for Juventus and they had to quickly find his missing identity.

Allegri is responsible for the decline in his team's current form, they also seem weak in the Champions League even though it was only the first matchday against PSG. This week they will play Benfica, if Juventus lose then I believe they don't really deserve to be favorites to qualify for the last 16.
