The battle for second place in the standings seems to be getting fiercer. even now Inter Milan and Ac Milan have the same number of points. And Lazio is now 1 point ahead of these two teams. but I'm pretty sure Lazio will return to 4th today after Inter and Milan both won their respective matches. Serie A this season has become more competitive than any other league. and only Napoli are still sitting quietly at the top of the rankings this season.
I admit that yesterday's Napoli vs Lazio match disappointed me a bit. I expected more from both teams. Napoli had the advantage, but little came of that advantage. There were no scoring chances. Lazio focused on interfering with the rival and waiting for counterattacks. The tactic proved successful, with Napoli suffering their second defeat of the season and Lazio taking 3 points to move up to second in the table. Milan have a chance to overtake Lazio today, but they have to beat Fiorentina in the away game, which will not be an easy task.
Napoli did a very good job. But Lazio performed absolutely wonderful. Napoli had every chance to score but due to the anxiety in them Lazio took advantage of that. Lazio had a very strong defence that they left no space for Napoli to penetrate in their box. Vacino's goal is absolutely goal of the month, the shot was unexpected and it was a fantastic one. Di Lorenzo also did a brilliant save too. With this wonderful performance of Lazio, I believe by now Bologna team must be having extra training because it will be so hard to stop Lazio from wining. 
At this juncture, no one would think otherwise today as Lazio is nothing compared to Napoli this season. Still, I hope this will not be the kind of match in which the higher odds would win. This means that football can surprise us, but if I should rate my affirmation on this match, I would say that Napoli will win with 99.99% assurance.
Yet, the remaining 0.01% could be catastrophic even though it's very small.
I flashed back at what I wrote about Napoli - Lazio and I burst into laughter. Despite overrating Napoli against Lazio, I still warned of the 0.01% of Lazio win which would automatically give the people that opted for the club huge money. I don't know what happened but you are right that Napoli is not as usual, Lazio seems to have succeeded with their strategy and gave Napoli a defeat and that also made them manage to improve their meeting record against Napoli. Of the 14 attempts they made, only 2 could lead right to the goal, which proved that they were not effective in this match. This defeat made them unable to widen their points gap and stuck at 65 points.

It is a shock for Napoli but it is not something terrible with them to be frankly. They have big gap against other clubs and Scudetto is mostly awarded to Napoli. Lazio aims to finish in the top four of the points table and qualify for the Champions League. Second-placed Lazio is still 17 points behind Napoli. Even if the result might be draw and it can also be considered as a bad result for napoli caused by what already wanted by napoli was winning the game not draw or even lose but lazio has been break napoli's winstreak after intermilan did it at the middle of season. Napoli was dominating the ball possession but so many shots that being made by napoli didn't have good accuracy. Napoli was also missing a golden opportunity as well. Lazio was having very big odds before the match started. Juventus is not consistently winning the game. Juventus may able to win against roma with dramatic match. now the competition is very tight at the top of the standings, making AC Milan have to be able to win 3 points in this match to keep securing its position and I think it is very possible because this season Fiorentina has not been performing very well and has not been consistent.

In this match I bet Napoli to win because Lazio's level of consistency is less convincing. But as a result, Vecino's single goal made my bet fail again.

They weren't clicking very well in yesterday’s game. You could see right from the 20th minute that this could be their first loss at Home and it definitely came true. Lazio were so compact at the middle and the back. Napoli hardly create any clear cut chance in the whole duration of the match. Napoli also had their moment too and played well all though but hard luck found them. I think Napoli are doing well. This one loss is not going to take anything from their title race.
Yes, losing 3 points today does not mean anything to Napoli they are still 17 points ahead even if Napoli lost 2 more matches they were still in a safe zone
I will not discuss about Napoli game because they have played well, it's just that luck is not on their side no one can refuse unlucky day including Napoli

Congratulations to Lazio for the three points they got from Napoli to moved to second position in the Italian league competition table. Napoli really played well in the first half, despite they didn't have the opportunity to score goal in the beginning of the match but their demonstration was giving people joy before Lazio managed to scored the goal at 67 minutes that shocked everybody at the moment. Despite, the defeat Napoli experienced from Lazio, they still remain the first position with highest points to gap other teams like Lazio, Inter, AC Milan and Roma which is a sign that Napoli still remain the most strong team in this season.
