We are getting close to the end of the World Cup. After it ends I wonder how Juventus are planning to deal with their current situation until their next matches. I really do not understand why Roma is facing this type of problem. They started the season with a lot of promise, but now they are absolutely stumbling over themselves. I know that there are only three points behind Lazio, which is in fourth place. But just look at the form that they are in right now. Jose Mourinho needs to fix a lot of problems in the team. Roma is a team which has neither been able to score enough goals nor been able to defend well enough. They have scored 18 goals and conceded 14. That speaks a lot about the team.

I agree with @ginsan that if Roma can be consistent in the second half of the season, they will be able to achieve good results. But the question is will they be able to be consistent?

Roma are facing a tough period both in terms of player injuries and the physical condition of the players themselves. For some, the world championship has just ended, for someone it's still going on and this doesn't bring balance to the team. Then there is also the problem of the player Karsdorp who will probably be sold because there are problems of understanding with Mourinho.

As for Ibra, in as much as it is his decision to say when he wants to retire, if I am a coach I will not be giving him that much playing time because he will tend to slow the speed and frequency of the game.

They will try to have a position in top for and is eligible for Champions League 2023 - 2024. They have another option to win Europa League and have a ticket to Champions League. It will be great if Mourinho can help Roma to win a second title in Europe, after the Conference League cup in 2021 - 2022 season.

He helped Porto to win Europa League and Champions League in two consecutive seasons and will he be able to almost repeat it in Roma? Both Porto and Roma have limited player resources and Mourinho is important to use best ability of players they have.

Salzburg looks to be a good opponent for Roma to beat and move to quarter round of Europa League. In Serie A, Roma will have many difficulty to finish in top four with other clubs but it is too soon for Mourinho which one will be his priority. He and Roma must keep fighting and they will be able to choose a priority if they can go further in Europa League and something not good for them in Serie A later.

Mou was a genius back in his glorious time.

He is now a wise coach which i don't do consider it as the old mourinho who always doing a frontal actions in and out of the pitch , as roma need a consistency as they are in the right track which they looking for years.

It’s a good feeling seeing Lukaku return from injury and back in the squad for Belgium. A lot of speculations and criticizing have been going down about the player's performance so far from Chelsea and making a move away to Inter Milan and I know the fans will be expecting to see a good come back for the Belgian star in the world cup and will be disappointed seeing how bad they performed and got eliminated in the knockout stages. We can now hope to see that come back in the league with Inter Milan.
