This year we remember that we also have a hungry Roma, who have had an outstanding campaign with Jose Mourinho and constant growth.
Not to mention Naples which is amazing everyone. In this case 4 places for 7 teams, you understand that they are tight and someone will have to stay out this round.
As someone said, not bad, in this case the Europa League also becomes interesting as a cup (and fun).
So come on, better than nothing. I hope Napoli win.
At this point, Roma is not going to win the title, that much is known, and I am guessing they will probably fail to win the cup as well, and this means that we are not going to see any success from them at all.
The better thing about this year is that there is a good chance that we could be betting on a few big name clubs on most of their games and still get a good win. Like on any even given week, if they are not facing each other, you could wager Napoli, Juventus, Atalanta, Roma, Milan, Inter all to win, if they are not facing each other*, that part is important. If all these teams are playing against other teams, they may end up winning, all of them, an amazing return on that bet if it ever happens.
Even though Roma under Mourinho's coaching in my opinion, it is something ordinary or nothing special at all. But I'm surprised that some of them say or assume that Roma is a great team because they were coached by Mourinho. Unless Mourinho can take Roma strong in the top four then surely that is a constant improvement.
Because if Roma can only win the title in the Europa Conference League last season, I think it still can't be used as a high achievement. Considering that the opponents in the Europa Conference League last season weren't all strong opponents, so it's only natural that Roma could win the title in the Europa Conference League last season.
But the main target of Roma recruiting Mourinho is of course about improving performance and being consistent to compete in the top four in Serie A, and if Mourinho has not been able to bring Roma strong in the top four then I think Roma are still very weak as a big team in Serie A.
So, in the absence of significant growth in Roma to date, then of course Roma will still be difficult and I believe Roma will still not be able to finish in the top four because Roma are still not in their best form to be able to dominate Serie A.
