I agree with what you said, but for now it seems there are other reasons for Inzaghi to prioritize Serie A.
The Champions League is quite good but indeed I personally feel that just qualifying for the knockout phase is good enough for them and I am personally quite skeptical of them in the next phase therefore I personally feel Inzaghi will try to focus more on Serie A now and at least even if it's difficult catch up but they have to keep the top 4 positions.

Luck I don't know, it's definitely needed but it's not enough by itself. Let's say that I too am amazed at Napoli's performance. Surely the merit is to be found in the stability of the team and in the fact that he doesn't change coach as soon as something goes wrong (see Inter).

Here now we have things were not good but now in recent weeks they are improving and things are looking good for them because in last few matches they have done good job and now having fifth spot with 30 points sharing Lazio its good fight back after having poor start of the season in Serie A hopefully now things could be more improved after this break, and they are going to host Napoli in first match which is surely big challenge for both teams because right now Leaders are unbeaten in 15 matches, and they will try to keep their record alive but playing at San Siro is never been easy for Napoli.

Surely this is going to be vital for both teams because if Napoli able to pass this test after break then surely they can keep their place for long time otherwise we can expect good changes at the top of Serie A league table because Juventus is also now recovering and most chances after this break many injured players are coming back in playing side.
