Salernitana try to catch up in the second half through Federico Bonazzoli's goal in the 83rd minute, but in the end Milan still managed to secure +3 points and ensure that they remained in second place in the Serie A standings with a difference of 5 points from Napoli at the top of the standings.

Today AC Milan has been able to win at Salernitana, and that is what AC Milan really wants because they really need points to overtake Napoli at the top of the standings. The match between AC Milan and Salernitana did get a little interesting toward the end. AC Milan conceded a goal in the 83rd minute of the match. On paper, it felt like AC Milan wouldn't even have a chance to lose this match.
