Napoli - Inter game could be really interesting. We will watch a game between the most scorer teams of the league first of all. Napoli have been much more impressive until now of course. But there is a long break until this game so we never know how strong these teams will come back. Inter will hope for Napoli to lose their momentum in this period of time.

But it is a really desperate wish I believe. Because Napoli have been fully concentrated on the league title so far. No matter how long the break is I don't expect it to affect them very seriously. They will just hope for not dealing with any serious injury after the World Cup ends.

I don't think, inter will withstand Napoli in this season because some of the things Napoli coach introduced to the team will sustain the team to defeat Inter to remain on top of the Italian league table, so that their fans will believe that they will definitely embrace the title before the end of the season. The two teams are very strong in this season, but Napoli strikers are well position to prove to inter that they still remain the strongest team in this season and they have what it takes to win them 2-0 in this match. Napoli coach will do everything possible not to allow his players to experience injury so that they will be able to use this opportunity to win this Italian league competition title.

The long break will make the performance from the club will be far better. Thanks for the world cup caused by it was giving chance for so many players in the club to take rest for long time and they can give their best performance during the match between napoli against intermilan. This gonna be a very good thing to prove that whether napoli can still sustain after a very long break or it will be facing another disaster.

As long as there will be no lots of change happened with napoli and im sure that if napoli can still perform better than inter. Inter can be considered as a strong team that potentially to defeat napolin in the italian league so napoli must be careful with inter in the next match.

Napoli is obviously at the top of the table without any direct competition right now. It is Milan who are currently ranked second in the table, and they have to worry first about the teams that are below them in the standings. Because starting from the second position, the competition gets really close.
What I mean to say is that there is not much difference in points between those teams. I do believe we can also look at this from a positive point of view. If we don't think about Napoli at this moment, we will see that the league is quite competitive. Other than that I think Napoli might also drop in terms of performance. They have a recent history of not performing well towards the end of the season. And if that happens, this league is surely going to get a lot more interesting.
Those who have been following Serie A for some time know this well, usually between the end of the first round and the beginning of the second round many teams drop in terms of performance, especially those engaged in European competitions, it is almost a fact that all the teams coached by Spalletti, after arriving in January, drop in performance and sometimes in a very drastic way, it happened with Roma, with Inter and also last year with Napoli. I don't mean it will necessarily happen, but it is very likely. The 8 points gap from the second in the standings is obviously a comfortable advantage for Napoli, who will surely fight for the Scudetto until the end! I share your thought, from second to seventh position in the standings the advantage points are few and the competition will be fierce, especially for placements that give access to the Champions League

Don’t know if it is going to be fair to compare Napoli to what they did in the last season. They did not have a successful performance in the last season. But this season they are playing really well. And even if they do drop in terms of performance, they have a comfortable breathing space of eight points. Hell, just knowing that they have such an advantage entering into the second phase of the season is going to give them good confidence. At the same time, however, it is also very true that the teams that had interference with the European competitions have dropped their performance as a result of their interference.

We will see if Napoli will make some changes in their squad in January as well. I guess that they would focus on keeping the quality high and maintaining the harmony of the team well at the same time. They shouldn't part their ways with any of their good players yet. They need to achieve a title first to think about that.
That's the problem that will come to the napoli. Some changes that gonna happen with napoli may not so perfect like the current squad. If napoli will not able to be consistent anymore and it may lose a chance to win the trophy for this season. I hope that napoli will get a good replacement for the players that may go to the another club for this season just like osimhen. The problem is too many big offers have come from the various clubs. Napoli itself already committed to sell some players with very big amounts of money.
It seems like napoli will be much more prefer to get huge money from selling the key players rather than winning the trophy.
Well the truth is I have read a lot of speculation about Napoli, the truth is I don't think they are going to sell all their players in their entirety, I think they will make some changes, just as they will sell they will be able to acquire players who can bring much more to the team, the truth is I think that Napoli is a team that has established itself as one of the best and I also believe that the reputation they have created is very good, I do not believe that they kill the goose that lays the golden eggs, because I believe that it is much better to win than to lose and To make some money, these clubs need a lot of recognition and they are already getting it and that is something they can't keep letting go.

A worthy representative of Napoli:

Kim Min-jae worries Napoli with World Cup pledge

Quote
Napoli defender Kim Min-jae assures he will be in the starting XI when South Korea face Brazil at the World Cup, ‘even if I get a more serious injury doing it.’

His team secured a spot in the Round of 16 after their last-gasp victory over Portugal, eliminating both Uruguay and Ghana simultaneously.

However, Kim Min-jae was not on the field in that match due to a calf injury he sustained earlier in the group phase.

He remains in doubt for the knockout clash with Brazil on Monday at 19.00 GMT, but not in his own mind.

“I was sad not to be on the pitch against Portugal and it’s hard to watch from the bench, but the injury meant I was not at 100 per cent and in such an important match, we decided it was best not to risk it,” Kim Min-jae told reporters in the mixed zone.

this is a very interesting match Napoli vs Inter and it takes place at a key moment, the call-ups for the national team benefit Napoli for the moment, who have only sent 5 players to the World Cup, while Inter have sent six. to date for napoli only Kim remains in the running for the world cup, the other 4 players have now finished their journey to the world cup, instead for inter there are still many players who will continue the world cup, Brozovic - Lautaro - De Vrij - Dumfries. Tiredness and physical recovery will be very important variables. I think it will still be a nice game to watch and I say that Napoli can win it, personal opinion of course

I agree with your personal opinion. I think Napoli will win that match. They're really invested in the league and are top of the table with eight points ahead of the second placed (AC Milan). Napoli will not want to slip up and lose the league like they did a couple of years back and lost the league to Juventus. They're are good form and I don't think the world cup break would affect them much. Inter on the other hand  are not in a very good form. they sit 5th on the league table. Burt a win against Napoli might boost their moral and give them hope of winning the league but i do not think they'll win.

The league is still quite long, there are still many challenges and each team still has the opportunity to have a better place in the standings. I admit that Napoli have been difficult to beat so far, but it is always possible for them to drop points when the opposing team plays well compared to them. Nothing is impossible, it's even possible for Milan to take first place from Napoli if Milan performs well for the rest of the season.

Napoli also still has the Champions League, Milan too and it is likely that Napoli's concentration in Serie A will be a little split because they will focus on the Champions League too.
It is possible that the Champions League will still be carried out with focus because their Serie A League is already superior with quite a lot of points, making it difficult for other teams to catch up and take Napoli's position because they also have players who are able to work well with teams. Even though in the Champions League match yesterday they received a fairly reasonable defeat because they had to go against Liverpool, I'm sure Napoli will get another win in the next game.

They need to achieve a title first to think about that.

Maybe we will be able to see another strong team that is in first place in the Serie A standings if Napoli fail to maximize their consistency at the start of the league match later. Because they will compete against Inter Milan, Juventus and AS Roma. If they manage to win the first 3 matches which I think are very important, they will actually have more chances to get the Scudetto earlier.
It seems that successive wins will not always be in favor of Napoli, we know that in the current world cup there are so many injured players, one of them is Napoli's mainstay defender Kim Min Jae, of course this is very detrimental to Napoli because his performance has been so impressive since joining Napoli. So at least Napoli have to be careful later when the Serie A match starts again.
He's having a bit of a problem in his leg but what's the problem right now is that he still wants to force the match against Brazil alone which of course if his condition gets worse this is a little troublesome for Napoli especially now that Kim Min Jae is one of their mainstays. Even though this fight is very important for Korea, I think pushing too hard won't have a good impact on his legs, which are problematic because he's worried that this will get worse.

The 7 best teams in Italy are now at the top. The top has become very broad in this competition. Too bad for Atalanta that they have dropped so far, they are normally known for their stability. Verona, Sampdoria and Cremonese are having a very difficult time and are clearly the weakest teams in this league this season. Sampdoria has a big name, but you can't make it with a big name alone. I don't know what exactly went wrong with this team. For years in the 90s they were among the best teams. Other teams have actually only gotten stronger, but other teams also have a much bigger budget these days it seems. Juventus also has a huge budget, but in the end has also disappointed the last 3 seasons (this one more).

I don't know if you know but Juventus is currently under investigation for false accounting and I think they have much more to think about in the championship.  Their board of directors dissolved a few days ago and now they are all under investigation.  This is again a nightmare for the fans that takes them back a few years when it was relegated to Serie B due to the Moggi case.  They risk relegation again.

I am someone who always believes that there is no need to sell any player if you are on a winning streak. You can bring in players if needed. but when everything is going alright, selling players just down the decision to make. But obviously, eventually, the officials come down to the club. If the coach decides that he needs to make changes he will. But I don’t think it is optimal.

That would be a valid reason, because it would be a high risk if they made a big overhaul in the middle of the convincing game they showed. If they do that, then they will build chemistry again because of new players joining. And usually when new players come they will need to adapt again and of course their chemistry will not be formed very quickly. So it would be better if they keep the players they already have, or if necessary they bring in the players they really need to strengthen the depth of their squad.

serie a bottom club hellas verona has once again changed its coach. Marco Zaffaroni replaces Salvatore Bocchetti, who succeeded Gabriele Cioffi in october. the latter, in turn, had only taken over in the summer. MZ who has also coached city rivals chievo verona, faces a herculean task... hellas has picked up just five points in 15 games and is eight points behind the non-relegation places
Verona used to finish in the 9th-10th place in the last seasons but this one seems to be the last one for them. They were a team that surprises big ones once..
They are 8 points away from Spezia, the team that is just upper the relegation zone. Not that big difference but definitely requires a lot of efforts and investment probably not just switching coaches Undecided
8 points is a very big difference when we talk about the relegation zone. Indeed, currently Serie A still has a very sufficient number of matches for Verona to rise from their current position, but as you said changing coaches alone is not enough to make them boost their current position and get out of the relegation zone. It will be a very long journey for them to do that.

Now we just need to see if their conditions are still the same as before with new players now because currently their conditions are slightly different considering that their players are also new because they have undergone reshuffles on various fronts.
But their condition is now very good and I'm quite optimistic that if there are no problems with injuries and no players leave, then I'm still quite optimistic about Napoli, especially considering the condition of other clubs who are really struggling like Milan and Juventus who are currently having problems.
In fact, at first I was a little skeptical about their condition when some of their players, such as Koulibally and Dries Mertens, were left behind, but this was indeed a bit surprising because with their new players, who in fact were still young compared to before, they actually played better.
On the other hand at this point I agree with you in saying that if there are no injuries and no spending players then this will most likely be very profitable for Napoli even though at the moment Osimhen and Zielinski are in the interest of many big clubs.

Verona has really performed poorly this season as they only won one win and two draws and the rest ended in defeats. look at the standings table, it will take a pretty hard performance for Verona to get out of the relegation zone. before verona sat at the bottom of the standings there was ac monza who filled in first but slowly ac monza was able to rise from the several matches they managed to win. then verona can learn from ac monza even though it is very difficult but they have to do it in order to be able to maintain to stay in serie A. there are still many games to come for them to improve and I hope the verona management can overhaul their squad in this winter window.

verona is 8 adrift of spezia which is a safe point to remain in serie A next season. the distance of 8 points might be pursued by Verona if they are able to make big changes in the remaining matches this season. I think this is purely not the fault of the players or the coach, it's just that they have been really inconsistent since the start of the season.

I think situations like injured players, decreased performance, will also be experienced by other Serie A teams, this has the potential to provide a balance for each club. So Napoli doesn't need to be dragged into this situation because they're not the only ones experiencing this, instead coach Luciano Spalletti needs to find a way to keep the focus of the players this season. The difference in points is the initial capital for them
several Napoli players who took part in the world cup have returned home because their team lost in the group phase. only kim min jae (south korea) and zielinski (Poland) are still fighting in the world cup. so I'm sure Napoli's performance will not decrease when the season starts again next year. Napoli are candidates for the champion of Serie a, they have to maintain their performance like the middle of the season which has passed.

Napoli's first game is against Inter, Inter and a team with serious defense problems, so Napoli has a chance to beat Inter, even if Napoli loses or draw it will not hurt them a lot because then they will play against Sampdoria that no doubt will win in this game and with that they will continue to keep good distance with other teams, then they will play against Juventus that even if they lose in the following game they will play against the Salernitana, Rome, Spezia they can win, or Be Napoli is well in terms of points advantage and their next games make it easier for them to stay in the first position
I would guess that losing would be more psychological problem then mathematical problem. They are still far ahead of everyone else that they could lose 2*-3 games and mathematically nothing would happen and they could still win the league.

However, losing does come with a problem on their minds, and that could cause them to not be great for the rest of the season. They may want to leave for a better club as well, that could be a trouble, if there is a big offer from a big club, they may not play greatly because they want to just leave for that club and force teams hand to make the sale. All in all, it is not about 3 points, it is about something much bigger than that.

Serie A will be even tighter after the World Cup break, so nothing should change from the performance of the top teams after this.
Some non-local players may still be playing for their respective countries, but when they are able to maintain their physical and performance, then these teams will not lose anything.

Whoever the players are, they will still avoid injury, but they never know when it will happen to them. So far I haven't heard of players getting injured, so I guess it's safe.

Even though they have a fairly wide difference in points, they will still lose if they lose or draw. All teams want to win and don't want to lose, unless they have already claimed the title I can say that they have nothing to lose. Keep in mind, the competition is still very long, losing points will make them lose even though they are still at the top of the standings. Whoever their opponent is, Napoli must maintain their consistency in order to keep winning and keep the distance they have created.
