Milan are a little underperforming comparing to the previous season and I wonder the reason. I'm aware of Napoli's unbelievable form but Milan could have still been right behind them by a small gap. On the other hand they have some missing players due to injuries also - such as Saelemaekers, Gabbia, Florenzi, Calabria and Maignan. Saelemaekers is a really important part of this team now. His skills were a big help for Milan last season. Tatarusanu is a really old goalkeeper (36) and he has conceded 12 goals in 12 matches in total so far. Maignan's absence is really felt at this point. Maybe he has similar stats but he is a much better goalkeeper with his great saves also.

This break might be good for them to get prepared better for the other half of the season. They will just hope for not having serious issues with injuries after the World Cup before anything else.
