I honestly believed that Roma would win, I mean Atalanta looked to be better team against such a low and even relegated team, so that must have been a win for sure and they ended up getting a draw with a horrible team in a great position for themselves and missed out.
But for some reason, I believed Roma to have even a better chance, no idea why but I believed they were in a great form to win. After failing to get a win for 2 games, this supposed to be a game where they dominate, at least in my mind. This is why I am shocked to see them failing to get a win. This makes that 5-6-7 and even 8th spot so much entertaining for the rest of the season.

Roma seems to have big ambitions to shift Lazio. if that happens, I believe it is an opportunity for Atalanta to continue to stick to Roma. Lazio could lose their position if Roma and Atalanta can get full points in their remaining matches.

Atalanta have really slumped at the end of this season, the draw against a lower team was not as predicted, with this result they are almost certain to fail to get a place on the Europa stage next season.

The next matches that are important for being the champion in the league are Inter - Empoli and Verona - Milan. I think that we will see another week without loss point of points for Inter and Milan both. Inter have a much easier match to play actually. I don't think that Empoli can make them serious difficulties in Giuseppe Meazza. And Inter would be the new leader temporarily in case they win. Milan are going to have a more difficult match because Verona still have a chance to make it to the Europa Conference League at least. But I still trust Milan about winning this one too.

Atalanta threw away 2 important points from Salarentina who are in the relegation zone, on paper Atalanta should be able to beat Salarentina easily. Atalanta were also almost humiliated by Salarentina if Mario Articleic did not find the net in the 88th minute. Losing two points is a big loss for Atalanta, because it will be difficult to enter the European zone next season.
