On the contrary, I think Ronaldo wanted to play for a team in the Champions League regardless of when he will be introduced in every match but at the end, he chooses Manchester United because the team was part of his starting point but today he is considered as an arrogant and a player in a poor form that's why Ten Hag decides to introduce him in few minutes before the end of every match in the English Premier League. I believe the form of Ronaldo will determine if he will be a regular starter in the club he will likely move to in January's transfer window because age is no longer on his side and that will affect his chances of making it in the first eleven of a team but even though he starts from the bench, I don't think another coach will decide to play a star like Ronaldo in 85 minutes of a game because of his age knowing that his presence in the field can bring fears to the opponents in every match.

I don't see any reason for Napoli to sign Ronaldo in January. Because they already have Osimhen as their main striker and they are very contented with his performance. There are two strikers in the subs like Raspadori and Simeone also. I guess Ronaldo wouldn't like to wait in the subs at Napoli also. Ronaldo score hundreds of goal for Real Madrid and won 3 Champions League with Real. I am sure he deserves to be called as a legend in Real Madrid. Even you dislike him, you can not deny his contributions and achievement there.

Napoli is a risky choice for Ronaldo. They are playing well in both Champions League and Serie A but they don't have enough experience to win titles. What will happen if Ronaldo joins them, and shortly after that, Napoli will  be beaten in 1/16 round? Ronaldo is not seeking to join a club like this if he can have better choices.

Likely Chelsea, according to rumor, are considering to sign with Ronaldo. It is the best choice for Ronaldo in this season but will he take it? If he joins Chelsea, he will have to play against Manchester United.

Ronaldo for example cannot play for Manchester City or Barcelona because he is a Manchester United and Real Madrid legend and their fans love him so much, but in my humble opinion Ronaldo can move to any club in the Seria A, because he isn't a legend in any of the teams there.
