Their current goal must be having a bigger achievement in the Serie A. I don't mean that they can fight for the Serie A championship of course as they don't have enough squad quality for that. Roma had a fantastic season last session, indeed Jose Mourinho is doing a great job at Roma, bringing the best out of the available squad and that's what I refer to as a good manager, not just a coach that can only perform with world-class players. They did very well and were rewarded with the European Conference League trophy and if they could bring in Christiano Ronaldo to this Roma team, it would spell trouble for the top clubs in the League.

Lautaro Martinez is an indispensable player for Inter right now. They don't want to lose him easily and they demand insane amount of money for him. Tottenham have great strikers like Son and Kane already but Conte really wants him so bad now. Maybe he is thinking of a formation that consists of two centre-forwards and he wants to see Martinez in one of those positions. I don't think Tottenham will succeed in signing him. Even if Lukaku goes to Inter they would still keep Martinez until Tottenham make an undeclinable offer.

I think it will be a little more difficult if Inter dare to let Lautaro off because in this case Lautaro can be a mainstay front line for Inter. But if someone is willing to pay 100 million maybe this will be a different story considering Inter also need money besides that with that much nominal maybe they will try to find some new strikers there although maybe this is an uncertain possibility.
