It looks like Milan's championship has made most people here happy. But I understand the reason why too. They weren't able to win the league title for so many years that this was their biggest chance to make it in the recent years. They didn't make a mistake after leading the standings most of the time recently. Sassuolo weren't a big hindrance for them to get over. Milan's general performance was still similar to Inter's of course as there was only a difference of two points. But Milan were having a much better time lately.
The season was not easy for Milan, and it was not easy for them to compete on equal terms with Inter, but they managed to do it. This is what makes their victory worthwhile. Many matches have been won on the character with minimal advantage. I would say that there is a certain amount of luck in this championship, but as they say, - the strongest are lucky, so everything is natural.

When it comes to Napoli's performance during this season, I must admit that they did a quite good job for some time. I even started to think that they were one of the biggest candidates to win the league title. But all of a sudden, their performance level started to drop down very sharply and they started to get very poor results. They gave up very early I mean. Even if they don't become the champion team, I would expect a bigger competition from them at least. But we never know how strong they will come back next season.

Yes, I also remember that they played really well in the first quarter of the season but they have lost their way since and never really recovered. I also thought they had a very good chance of doing something great this season but at that time Juventus came back in form and they had a lot better competition.

If they could have held on to their position from that time I think they had a chance of finishing a lot higher compared to what they have done. I hope they will do better in the next season but I also believe that it will be way harder.

in this case i see inter actually as one bad thing. they were given a few chances but in the end when they were at the top they couldn't secure anything and just kept wasting their chances. even if I'm not mistaken they even had a 5 to 6 point lead over Milan there but what happened was that they flowered again and again the chances

Actually it is understandable why Inter's appearance this season has decreased slightly compared to the previous season, besides Inter lost two star
players namely Achraf Hakimi and Romelu Lukaku. Because the previous season Antonio Conte was the coach of Inter, we know for ourselves how
Conte's track record as a coach is very good. While this season Inter have Simone Inzaghi as coach, and we know Inzaghi is not an experienced coach,
so it's only natural that Inzaghi needs time to get Inter back to winning the Serie A trophy. But so far Inzaghi's debut as Inter coach is not so bad,
at least Inter can compete with AC Milan until the end of the season. Hopefully Inzaghi can learn a lot from Inter's failures this season, and Inzaghi
can make Inter play even better next season.
Well, maybe this can be understood a little but indeed to lose a striker I think they can handle it because there are indeed some good strikers there and even they have a very good goal ratio this season but indeed they sometimes can't win with a good goal ratio that.
They have to forget this season and make next season better. Inzaghi is still pretty good for now but if next season he still fails I'm not sure what to keep from him

This season Milan were very lucky, just look at the whole scenario: there was the covid situation, game stoppages, infections and on the way back the teams became very inconsistent, napoli and inter and atalata and juventus became very inconsistent teams. but next season things will be different, that is, it will be more competitive and i read that real madrid wants to buy rafael leão, but i am not seeing any news from milan being interested in a new striker to replace ibrahimovic who will no longer be that one player to contribute a lot to the team in the near future, I would even say that he should think about retiring
In this case, Inter, Juventus and Atalanta have experienced setbacks in the current season and even Atalanta is arguably the worst in my opinion because they have experienced inconsistencies at the wrong time. in contrast to Juventus who have more finances they managed to get through the crisis by bringing in several players such as Dusan and Zakaria who made their performance slowly start to rise but it was quite difficult to do that so when they experienced inconsistency they couldn't do much more there

I think Inter has actually passively assisted them in winning the league title because Inter had a really good advantage over Milan and they just could not hold it. They lost crucial matches at crucial times and that certainly caused a lot of problems. But I have to say at the end of the season Milan traded reliable and obviously was the better team.

I won't blame the coach ( inzaghi) for their failure to win, because he did well, he was the favourite to win the Italian league from week 1 to the end of season,is just that AC Milan maintain consistency for majority of the season and are very lucky not to lose key players to injuries, inter Milan will do better next season under inzaghi,we just have to give the young coach more time and stop comparing him to Antonio Conte,is like comparing father and son and saying who have experienced more.

@BuNga_cute, Yes, I think you are right because with the chances that they had to go ahead and win the league title this season I think there should have done better. I actually think there to kit a little easier and lost important points in some matches that they really shouldn't have. And they left to tell the tale for it

@borovichok, I think the main problem that Inter had to face this season was the consistency. They were not consistent enough and losing crucial points that important times did not help them at all. If I remember correctly I think they lost a few matches which they really should not have and if they had when those matches they could have gone past Milan very easily.

Looks like it will continue, I saw the information that AC Milan confirm Zlatan Ibrahimovic faces eight months out after knee surgery

AC Milan still has Rafael Leao and Olivier Giroud, both of whom have performed quite well this season, these two players are AC Milan's top scorer this season. They can both fill the position up front replace Ibrahimovic. I'm a little doubtful about ibrahimovic's career at ac milan after his contract expires in June 2022, yes maybe because of ibrahimovic's age and injury.
But in this case I still feel that they have to keep looking for a new striker now. Zlatan is still unclear about his future whether he will hang up his boots or still want to continue his professional career. on the other hand now Rafael Leao has also started in the eyes of several big clubs and it seems that the Spanish giants Madrid already have a high interest in this young player considering they can't bring Mbappe.
They have to plan some Options if this is really going to happen

Yesterday's game saw Roma winning the Europa conference league title and if I'm honest, I'd say they fought hard. I initially felt feyenoord will have a chance this time bit it seemed Roma were not willing to take chances despite being pressed by feyenoord.
Nikolo Zaniolo's goal in the 32nd minute sealed Roma's fate as the winners and although feyenoord tried to bounce back, they could not meet up. This should be more like a consolation for not being able to make it to champions league next season but at least they qualified for the Europa tho.
I wonder if the team that won the Europa Conference League, for example, didn't finish in the Europa League zone but by winning the Europa Conference League title, would they be able to be part of the Europa League next season. Because the current case is that Roma in the final standings are in the Europa League zone for next season. Because so far, when a team does not finish in the Champions League zone but the team can become the winner of the Europa League title, that team will automatically become part of the Champions League for next season. Look at Frankfurt, even Frankfurt in the final standings of the Bundesliga is only a team that is in 11th position, but because Frankfurt won the Europa League title, next season Frankfurt will be part of the Champions League without a play-off round.

Roma has already secured the Europa league position and it was a match that was not played for having a spot in the competition. Rather it was played to prove that they can achieve some great things. Roma has finished in the 6th position I believe so they are going to play in the Europa league competition regardless of their win in the conference League final. And I have to say it was a really historical win for Roma and also the coach Jose Mourinho.

I think Milan will have a good chance of defending their title. They have been playing well in recent seasons but the problem was they were really inconsistent in the previous seasons. I can also not say that they are very consistent in this season but they have done the job. I think they will show a good performance in the next season also. But as I said that I will also admit that they will have tougher competition in the next season. I think they are going to make some important changes in the squad in this transfer window.
AC Milan have good chance get scudetto after their rival Napoli and Inter Milan inconsistent performance in this season, ever Milan drop to 2nd and 3rd position but mistake made by rival from Napoli and Inter Milan give chance for Milan back to 1st standing before become the king of Serie A in this season. Not really bad after 11 years waiting for AC Milan get scudetto again and I hope keep consistent for next season not only with Serie A but also Milan have good performance on champion league. Totally failed last time edition on champion league without success on group stage I think Milan have prepare next season for champion league.

There is nothing wrong with Inzaghi, even I initially thought that Inter would find it difficult to compete after the board appointed Inzaghi as their coach at the start of the season was 100% wrong. Inzaghi has done his job very well this season, it's just there have been a few games where the results have been surprising. even Milan felt the same way, lucky for Milan, they was able to provide good performance when facing a strong team, including when they beat Inter in a Serie A derby.
In the last few seasons, Milan presented a fierce competition for the Serie A title. They still failed last season, but they managed to do it this season. It was a perfect achievement for both the coach and his players, it was a pleasure to see Milan's players celebrate the title this season.

Next season, Milan will definitely have a tougher task where they are expected to defend their title. Milan will be competing in the Champions League as well so I think some new players should be brought in during this transfer window.

Any team at a distance will lose to a top club for only one reason - squad depth/reserves. In almost every season, you can see a couple of bright teams that overtake the leaders but by the end of the season experience big failures and give way to leadership (exceptions like Leicester happen but very rarely). And this is only a matter of resources and not mentality. The mentality decides in knockout games.
Let's take Milan as an example, I don't think there is a very big, high-quality squad depth (like Inter or Juventus), but they had Ibrahimovic, this is a real leader with a winning mentality. Although he spent a lot of time on the bench, he is part of the team and he set the team up to win. Of course, it can be said that Milan had been knocked out of the European cups early and could have fully focused on Serie A, but even so, winning the Scudetto was not so easy.

Yes, but it may not be an easy task in all conditions. But if we compare seasons, this one was probably one of the most convenient for underdogs - Juventus spent half of the season in an undeniable crisis, while other leaders were unstable and changed at the top like in a kaleidoscope. Milan turned out to be the luckiest of all, and Ibrahimovic certainly has a partial merit in this.

I can also agree on the fact that Napoli had a much bigger potential than this for this season. They fought for the championship for a long time too but they were left behind by Milan and Inter earlier than I expected. It would have been really nice if we'd seen a championship rivalry among three teams too. Napoli were also a team like Milan which didn't become the Serie A champions for very long years. It is even a bigger streak for Napoli. This was one of their biggest chances but they just struggled a lot about being consistent.
Napoli's biggest problem this season was that towards the end of the season their form dropped so that they were trailing the other two teams that were fighting for the trophy until their final weekend in Serie A. This was a disappointment that they should have anticipated from the start, because they have struggled and are approaching the end of the season their struggle seemed in vain.
It's quite tragic to see Napoli's journey this season, after they were quite consistent since the start of the season and competed tightly with Milan and Inter but their performance actually declined as the season progressed, the consecutive defeats they got and the consistency of the rivals journey made Napoli increasingly away from the Scudetto competition this season. However, fortunately, they are still able to stay in 3rd position this season so that they get a slot in the champions league next season.

I think Napoli's problem this season is only their mentality, they played very well all season but unfortunately at the end of the season when the Scudetto race was getting tighter they often made mistakes so that they were left behind by AC Milan and also Inter Milan.
but overall this season they have played better than the previous few seasons and there is a lot of potential next season they will again be a tight contender for the Scudetto even I think they can be even stronger next season.
