It seems that AS Roma is more realistic to stay in 5th position, because to catch 4th position seems difficult because Juventus will also struggle all-out to be able to finish in the Champions League zone. AS Roma must achieve full in the rest of the season, because if not, their position is very threatened by Lazio, Fiorentina and even Atalanta.

4 matches left = 12 points to grab, currently Juventus is leading against Roma by 8 points. Mathematically Juventus needs to gain 5 points in their last 4 remaining matches to secure the position in 4th but I believe they will try their best to win all the remaining matches in a hope that Napoli will lose some points so Juventus can take the 3rd position at the end of the season. Today Napoli will have to beat Sassuolo, a draw or a lose for Napoli means that they should be ready to get their position taken by Juventus tomorrow because I believe it wont be hard for Juventus to get full points against the bottom team Venezia.

Today is the last chance for Napoli to break the losing streak and fight for something more this season than a place in top4. The last games were terrible and what they did in the last game against Empoli was a real disaster. However, I hope that they will play a much better match today and I bet the hosts will win with a handicap (-1.5)

I think they are in the situation now where they must be worried the most about losing the third spot over aiming for the Serie A.

3rd spot in the end of the season will give more prize money.

Only 4 more games are left and now the competition is getting tighter as only Inter and Milan are competing now.
Napoli have no hope now and they are best at defending the current 3rd position although indeed 3rd or 4th position does not make any difference because they still have a chance in the Champions League but for pride of course 3rd position is better.

I don't think that Napoli are in the title competition anymore. They have had really poor results in the recent weeks and they caused them to get away from Milan and Inter significantly. I must admit that it is still not an impossible thing to do mathematically. But it is always better to think sensibly rather than mathematically for this kind of situations. We have only two candidates for the Serie A title now: Milan and Inter. It is still too difficult to predict which one of them would make it precisely. But hopefully it can be Milan to achieve it as they haven't won any title more than ten years.

I don't know why when Serie A almost near to end seems Napoli has not focus anymore and hard to win because from 3 matches they only got 1 point and makes their gap points between them and Milan getting wider and today against Sassuolo hopefully they can back to winning track again and if today they lose again or draw then Napoli have to forget their dream to get Serie A trophy so the result of this match will determined Napoli position on standings league

AS Roma must fly the white flag to chase Juventus points, the distance of 8 points in the remaining 4 matches is impossible to catch AS Roma, because Juventus only need two more wins to ensure they qualify for the Champions League next season. The last two games were very easy to win Juventus, because Venezia and Genoa are both at the bottom of the standings. AS Roma must focus on the last 4 matches, because their position in 5th is not safe yet. Jose Mourinho team must win in the last 4 matches, so as not to be caught by Lazio, Fiorentina and Atalanta.

I don’t see Roma clinching that top 4 spot unless Juventus ends up losing all their remaining fixtures, but I sincerely doubt that will happen, hence Roma should focus on occupying the 5th spot and aim for Europa league football next season. Furthermore Juventus unpredictable form this season means that they can suffer a dip in their form anytime, hence the race for the 4th spot will become really interesting if Juventus drops some points and Roma continuously wins.

Atalanta missed out losing against their guest with a narrow escape. Torino drew their away game with Atalanta, they didn't give the home team a chance to rest, they played quite defensively and also involved in several counter attacks. Penalties were awarded in the game for the both sides which utilizes their chances remarkably. Atalanta are currently at the 8th position on the League table. The team need to improve their performance in other to accumulate more points, and probably slide up on the standings.

Napoli seriously spoiled the impression of a mostly good season with their recent matches and point losses and is now fighting for third place with Juventus rather than a battle for the championship, but still some chances will remain if Milan and Inter simultaneously lose points in the next round.

This match will be held in Milan home, so we can expect Milan has extra motivation to win. They know 3 points will be very crucial to get, they need to play all out to win this important match. If Milan has no problem with players injured, I guess Milan to win the match. Milan current performance is much better than Fiorentina performance, theoretically Milan is the favorite to win.
