Yep, it is too early to predict the result of Serie A league. There are too many remaining matches and the competition among the teams in Serie A looks tighter than the last season. I am sure the competition for the title isn't for Inter Milan and Roma only, we have Napoli and AC Milan that is very possible to overtake Inter or Roma in the next few matches. Especially in the second half of the season, sometimes there is a surprise related to the change of position on the table. Only strong teams that can play consistently have the ability to stay on the top table.

The AC Milan of last season is not the AC Milan of this season; such matches used to boost their points last season, but they are now losing points on such matches, allowing Inter Milan and other strong opponents to climb the league table. Perhaps this season will be different from last, and Inter Milan might be champions of this season's Seria A league after securing their third win of the season following a humiliating defeat against Lazio in their last league match.

If that's the case then I totally agree Milan made a mistake in that match. But I don't completely blame Milan's strategy, it could be because of Sassoulo's tight defense which Milan is difficult to penetrate. Lack of creativity meant Milan failed to create many chances, but don't worry this is something that happens in some match.

The point is Milan must find a solution how to penetrate the opponent's defense who has a defensive strategy to get points like Sassoulo. If in the next match they also fail, then I don't know what will happen to them as defending champions.
