AS Roma won, and they continue their chase for a top four finish, i am pretty sure Mourinho will not be happy finishing anywhere other than in one of the champions league spots, as things stand now they are 6 points behind Juventus, it is a big gap as they would expect Juventus to drop 6 points while they themselves would have to be impeccable from now till the end of the season, it is highly improbable, but mathematically it is still possible. Roma would just have to continue winning and see what happens from now till the end of the season, in my opinion they will have to make do with a Europa league spot and try harder again next season.
it will be a little difficult for Roma with 8 games remaining this season, currently Juventus is playing against Inter Milan and if Juventus fail to win it will be very profitable for Roma, and also in the remaining matches Roma still have to face 2 strong teams namely Napoli and Inter Milan, it will be very difficult for Roma, if they are able to win and maximize all the remaining games maybe there is still a UCL ticket next season for them otherwise the Europa League next season is the place they really deserve.

With this defeat in the first half, I currently doubt that Atalanta can win the match, even though the statistics show that it is clear that Atalanta can still dominate the match but the final result is still not promising. Because Napoli itself is not a weak team and also, competition in the title race makes Napoli will try hard to be able to maintain this temporary victory.
Napoli did end up winning the match in the end and the score was 3-1 in the end. They played like they were multiple steps ahead of their opponent. Atlanta did try to play well and give them a competition but it was not enough. I like how Napoli played in that match by the way because they got the first goal and they did not look back. They did not just sit on the lead and defend. They went for more goals which I really appreciate.
It must be appreciated how the fighting spirit of the Napoli players, even though Napoli are playing away and the opponent is Atalanta which is
clearly not a weak team. Actually Atalanta from the first minute immediately decided to attack, but some of Atalanta's chances could still be
thwarted by David Ospina. Napoli also tried to attack, which finally in the 14th minute Napoli got their first goal through a penalty kick.
Even as you said after scoring one goal, Napoli did not decide to play defensively and hope to win by one goal difference. But Napoli are still trying

There are still eight matches left, if 8 is multiplied by 3, that is 24 points. That points is still huge and anything can happen. Inter Milan has one awaiting match and if won, it would have the same point with Napoli, I am not sure who has the most goals. Also AC Milan is leading with just 3 points, what is the assurance that they would win the league this season. Juventus is so close too, if the three clubs above Juventus give Juventus little chance, they might lose and Juventus may win the league, but the chance this would happen is very low. But even if Juventus did not win and the winners would be AC, Napoli or Inter, we still do not know who the winner can be as they are all close in points to each other.
I second absolutely everything you wrote here, that is the sort of thrilling and entertaining season we are having in seria A, to be honest it has been a long while since we experienced this sort of competition in the Italian league, Juventus were always running with the title, last season Inter broke the status quo, and this season the competition even got a whole lot stronger.Man the league is very far from over like you said, the points difference between the four top teams is so small, and any slip up can give a chance to any team waiting to capitalize, the only way AC Milan can be certain of the title is if they have an impeccable run till the end, and in football you can't guarantee that. I will just grab my popcorn and see what happens from now till the end of the season, my support for Inter is well known, and i really hope something happens that will take them back to the summit.
The Italian League is still quite interesting in my opinion because there is still a lot of good competition going on in the league. Milan and Napoli are both on the top but Inter has two matches in their hand and if they are able to win both of them they will also have the same points as Milan and Napoli. Juventus is also close and they will also be in the title race. I really don't see how this League is done and dusted. it is still quite interesting.
Napoli is surprising me,they have never been this consistent from quite a lot of years now,sure they have started to fight in the recent years in the beginning stages of the Serie A but never have been able to be consistent up this far.They have one game more than Milan with equal points but the pressure is on Milan now who should not make any mistake more than on Napoli.I believe many exclude like I do Inter from the title fight,what a poor performance from them when they were leading the Serie A comfortably and now are 6 points behind.I don't think winning the game today against Juventus will change things except maybe a little bit the team moral.
Atalanta 1 - 3 Napoli isn't a result that most people expected imo! Napoli winning ok but 3 goals vs Atalanta is impressive. Attacking less and scoring more goals. Now they have the same number of points as Milan which will face Bologna tomorrow and which will be under pressure.Meanwhile, I assume Juve and Inter are under a lot of pressure for real, Inter has to catch Milan and Napoli and avoid being 4th while Juve has to win to avoid seeing Roma, Lazio and Atalanta getting closer from it.

Roma don't have a bad team at all, but the top in Italy in s width has become very strong in recent years so it is difficult to continue to run really well for the championship. I expected a few more goals in this match.

Before the Atalanta - Napoli game started, I was thinking like Napoli would lose two points at the end of it. But the opposite happened and Napoli won this game decently by 3-1. On the other hand, Atalanta had an impressive effort actually. They had 19 goal attempts. But they had only three on goal which brought their end here. Actually I can't say that Napoli had many shots on goal either. They had five but they were just too good at scoring despite that. And if Roma manage to win, they are going to have the fifth spot.
Napoli really benefited from a goal in the early minutes of the first half and it made them play more calmly, I was on the contrary betting big on Napoli's victory and it was very profitable because the bookie opened bigger odds against Napoli, Napoli are currently competing to win the League of course they want maximize each match to keep getting full points.
