This is an important season for Juventus. And for the coach of course. Last year completely failed in the competition but also in the Champions League. Only one thing can be expected from a club like Juventus and that is to become champions. If they come in 2nd it will be disappointing but it will still be acceptable if Inter were just better. Last season the rest wasn't really great in the whole league, but Juventus was just really bad, and the start of the league was dramatic. If after 10 matches they have already lost 4 times then you actually already have no chance to become champion. Competition at the top has become increasingly evenly matched.

Sassuolo isn't in the good shape because yesterday they were lose from Serie C team Modena on Coppa Italy but Juventus also not really different than them because they were humiliated by Atletico with big score 4-0 and Juventus also faced midfield crisis because some of their midfielder players got injured and also in the forward line Juventus still cannot get the replacement of Dybala but indeed most people will predict Juventus will win and let's see who will be the winner of this match
Just because one loss doesn't mean that they will keep playing that badly. Sometimes even the greatest teams end up with a bad result against unexpected teams. But, when we are talking about something that is barely there, it would be weird to consider the team as bad right away.

Juventus is good, Sassuolo is good, they will battle it out and we will see who wins, Juventus seems like the better team, but at the end of the day we shouldn't really be shocked to learn that we couldn't rely on just one game to make a calculation but even without that game we still end up with the same result so I can't say that you are that much wrong in the long run.

Milan's absent players in their attacking line can be a really serious obstacle for them against Udinese. However Milan are still a much better team than them in terms of quality. Even if they have problems with finding a striker for the position they can still win the game thanks to their midfielders and wingers. By the way Rebic can play as a striker also. I'm aware of Milan's bad luck against their opponent recently also but I expect them to break a leg finally.
I still really don’t think that Udinese will be able to give too many problems to AC Milan. If we look at the last season we will see that Udinese was a mid-table team and obviously nowhere near AC Milan. And obviously, the quality of squat is better for AC Milan. They just have a few problems in the team right now and that is why people are thinking that they are in a vulnerable state. And they will have to find a permanent solution instead of temporary ones like playing a player of another position in the striker position.
The absence of the Milan forward? Lol, only Ibrahimovic is injured and Milan still have other players like Divock Origi, Olivier Giroud and youngster Marko Lazetić. Not only that, Milan also still has Rafael Leão, Ante Rebic, Alexis Saelemaekers and Junior Messias as players who are also good in attack. So, there is no problem at all with Milan just because Ibrahimovic's injury doesn't make Milan destroyed in attack. Therefore, there is nothing to worry about too much, even though Milan has a tougher opponent, it's also not a big problem because after all, in every match there will always be a winning and losing team.

Milan is obviously a better team if we compare them to the next opponent that they have. And they are obviously going to be better than certain teams because they are the defending champion of the Italian league. But they are obviously not better than Inter, at least not right now in my opinion. Now obviously not having Ibrahimovic is not going to be the end of the world for Milan. But when the other teams in the Italian league are making very big changes to their squad, Millan did not make too many changes to improve the squad. And the other teams which are going to be the main competitor of Milan have got quite better compared to them in my opinion. That’s why I am not very confident about Milan.

Juventus - Sassuolo is another nice match on the first week of the season. Unlike the bookmakers I think that this match is going to be a really close and competitive one. Sassuolo are known as a very durable team against the biggest teams of this league. This is a new season of course and we don't have any idea about how they will perform this time. My expectation from the result of the match is that Juventus would be victorious by a one-goal difference.

Yes, this game will be an interesting match to watch but I can not figure out what the outcome will be because I don't rely on the bookmarker's analysis I take my prediction based on the form of a team. The game will be competitive as you said because the Juventus team is not informed right now judging by their last performance against ATM, again Juventus team is incomplete because their key midfielder being Paul Pogba is injured so it will be a thing of luck if they come out victorious against Sassuolo. The Sassuolo team lost yesterday in their coppa Italian match but based on the past meetings with Juventus, the two teams have scored against each other in their last six meetings so am predicting both teams to score in the game.

hmph..
Why should Milan get rid of Ibrahimovic? He has a very modest salary and most likely this season will be transitional for him and as a result he will move to the club structure in an administrative position. Do you think that Milan do not understand what to expect from an injured 40-year-old player and count on him as the main striker in the upcoming season?  Roll Eyes

Yup, I thought about that too. It is possible Ibrahimovic became AC Milan's staff after he decided to retire. Therefore I say, Milan should be able to immediately find a replacement for Ibrahimovic, and not rely too much on him. Maybe 1 or 2 seasons ahead, there is still the potential if Ibra made a decision doesn't want to retire, that's when we will see, whether Milan will extend, or offer a position on the staff to join Maldini or let him go.  Wink

Ibrahimovic was kept by AC Milan because he was a very influential player in AC Milan's revival last season. Although he was often used as a substitute last season, his presence on the field was able to provide encouragement to other players. maybe from this side ac milan want to respect him and want to use his services for the coming season. we will see what ibrahimovic will show in the coming season.

I wonder if Juventus will manage to solve their problem in the midfield before the new season becomes underway. Because Pogba is out for a very long time as it seems. They have been targeting Milinkovic-Savic actually but there is no update about that now. Juventus' biggest weakness has been their midfield as you know. If they go on with the current condition in this season then I wonder how they are thinking of dealing with this.
I guess, Juventus coach is about to solve the problem in the mind of their fans, because he discovered that the issues of his talented players that are injury right now will definitely affect their performance in this season. The coach is about to bring in the midfielder that can handle Paul Pogba position and other players for their coming match to ensure they achieve victory at the end of the match for people to know that they are well prepared for this season. I think, there is a strong confident in the mind of their coach that Juventus will not experience any defeat from any match until their players fully recover from their injury.

Juventus should not be able to solve this problem easily. This problem is not something that can be overlooked. They have problems in almost every position. I really don’t know how they will be able to fix the problem. I know the coach is striving to do everything in his power to make things better. But I doubt that you will be able to start the season with the positive mindset that they would have if they had all the players available to them.

And whatever substitution or replacement they use for Paul Pogba I really don’t think that player will be in a position to offer what Paul Pogba could have. Juventus had a poor start to the last season. If I am not mistaken, last season was also problematic for them due to injuries and it doesn't appear to be getting any better this year.

AC Milan should be able to get away from Ibrahimovic. Indeed, Milan need him, but his current condition no longer good for Milan. Perhaps, all he can give is a few minutes when he recovers from his injury. But, this also won't take a long. In the next few games, it is likely he will get injured again, although this is of course not what we expected. But, looking at the injuries last season and the start of this season I think Ibrahimovic is taking a risk by continuing to play.

He has a very modest salary and most likely this season will be transitional for him and as a result he will move to the club structure in an administrative position. 3 goals from their own ex Cheesy
Morata seemed to prove that he did not fit into the Juventus game and was more suited to playing with patterns and strategies that matched what he wanted.
Bad enough for Juventus in this regard and indeed this seems to prove that the level of Serie A is still below the level of the other leagues.
That was a savage hattrick lol

Morata always had a different energy when it comes to playing against his ex teams and whenever he moved out ... he always get a pretty great start but then just average.
Eventhough it's just a friendly , they are mostly playing with nearly 100% the winning team , yet they are demolished. I can only see that juventus aren't ready yet for this season serie A.
True this is quite cruel for Juventus lol
I think regardless of Juventus' readiness, they are actually quite ready. Regardless of what we also have to see who plays there, losing this match does not mean they are not ready but indeed they need to make some plans to carry out their chosen scheme so that the same gap does not occur as this match.
But for Serie A maybe we will see something exciting, Forget the friendly because this is just a test of their scheme and Juventus must be prepared to make their Serie A match good with all their shortcomings now.

I've noticed a trend that Sassuolo doesn't start the season in the best shape but gradually picks up pace as the season progresses and towards the end they are at their peak. On the one hand, this is the right tactic, many top clubs are trying to do this in order to be in optimal condition for the final stage of the Champions League, and very often this coincides with the end of their championships. I don't know what to expect in this match, to be honest, I won't even be surprised by a draw.

Based on the Guardian report Juventus have reach agreement with Manchester United about Adrien Rabiot transfer with values £15m, I think just waiting with official announcement between Manchester United and Juventus about Rabiot transfer, actually Juventus losing one midfielder again after Paul Pogba got long injury. How ever with not consistent performance from Adrien Rabiot selling him before finding replacement I think very bad decision made by Juventus, few days later Serie A will begin against with Sassuolo on the first match, but Juventus have losing their midfielder, will find new replacement before Serie A match begin?

It looks like Juventus have a lot of midfielders. His arrival made the Juventus midfielder stock increase. If Rabiot Goes maybe they don't need to find a replacement. Pogba may be in their strategy, even if he is injured. I heard the injury didn't take long to heal. Maximum 2 months. Of course Juve are happy because Rabiot cannot play optimally with Juventus and there are those who are interested in Rabiot. Actually not  sure about Rabiot but all possibilities can still happen.

But Di Maria has fitness issues. At the same time, their new midfielder Pogba is injured. Juventus are going to face big problems at the beginning of the season.
Juventus have some bad news ahead of the Serie A opening this weekend. The main goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny had to miss the injury.
Szczesny got the injury while defending Juventus in a friendly match against Atletico Madrid, Szczesny got a problem in his left thigh muscle so he had to be replaced by Mattia Perin. Juventus' injury storm is increasing because they have lost Paul Pogba and Weston McKennie.
Of course it is very detrimental to Juventus considering the depth of their squad is not very good,
The league's opening match will certainly be a challenge for them after some of their players are injured,
I think Juventus still need to buy more players and they are reportedly eyeing Memphis Depay

I agree with you, that Sassuolo cannot be underestimated. They can be able to make a surprise at any time. The first match, of course, all clubs have not fully recognized the strength of their opponents, because they made changes. On paper, maybe Juventus is more superior in any way. But our Sassuolo power doesn't know what it will be.

I think Juventus will still beat Sassuolo.  It should not be forgotten that the Atlético Madrid match is a friendly match.  Things will be different in the league.  Juventus beats like I said.  Only injuries can hinder Juventus a bit.  They can resume their game at the highest level if the injuries are over soon.
Yes, basically a friendly match cannot be a full parameter because it is completely different when it comes to competing in the league,
The current Juventus squad is arguably good and they brought in Di Maria whose quality is unquestionable,
we'll see later the match against Sassuolo

Juventus still have Rabiot, Locatelli and McKennie apart from Paul Pogba who is rumor will be absent, Massimiliano Allegri still has Di Maria as an alternative, there is also Arthur Melo and Nicolo Rovella on the bench. Vice versa I doubt the defense. Can Bremer replace Matthijs de Ligt's contribution in defense. Although before this he performed well with Torino, the situation is different because Gleison Bremer will play for a top team in Serie A.

btw I heard that they are also going for the arrival of Kostic which means they have another alternative in midfield.

Filip Kostic? Juventus have not been seen introduce him to the public so far, but if look at the current news, many media reports say that Eintracht Frankfurt have agreed to the sale of Filip Kostic to Juventus for an estimated fee of €17-18 million.

We are waiting for the inauguration of Juventus.
So Juventus will have nine midfielders for the 22-23 season, including Filip Kostic if they manage to sign him. With this choice, I believe Juventus will play with a four midfield formation.

Bremer was one of the defenders who were quite good last season but indeed for Juventus there still had to be a few adjustments because indeed with Bremer at this time it was clear he needed adaptation and the chemistry could not be built quickly there. Even so I don't think there will be a big obstacle for Bremer to be able to play well.

In football anything can happen, before the end of the game. Last season they weren't new either for a team that wasn't very big. They can stay in Serie A and are in 11th position at the end of the season. Actually I didn't hear much about this club. Because of that I think this club is unseeded and a big club. Yesterday they had started competing in the first round of the Italian cup. They played at home to Modena and lost 3-2. Modena is a Serie B club. So it looks like Sassuolo will have to be wary of their first opponent more than Modena.
When I say this and when we talk about pre-season it will be a little bit different because in the game it's more about readiness and some experimentation.
Even though everything can happen in football, when you look at H2H and the superiority of the players, it is clear that Juventus is superior in any case, so Juventus is still the favorite.
The problem is that at this time Juventus are also a little difficult for their midfield and attack, Juventus' midfield still has problems due to several injured players, for Dusan in attack he has not yet found his best performance.

He's a very good player. I can't believe why Juventus still sent him off the team. I am sure that Dybala will give Roma the best he can. A coach like Mourinho brings out more of his potential. Roma can play a better game than last year, which they made us feel in the match against Tottenham.

Juventus made a big mistake by letting Dybala go this season. As this season Juventus are building their squad to win the title. They should have kept Dybala on the team this season. They are likely considering Di Maria as Dybala's replacement. But Di Maria has fitness issues. At the same time, their new midfielder Pogba is injured. Juventus are going to face big problems at the beginning of the season.

Dybala was both a young and fast football player.  His offensive direction was quite strong and his skills were unquestionable. What he brought to Juventus was really a lot. I don't know and I don't understand why Juventus didn't think about him, didn't try to keep him in the squad. If you want to be a champion, you must know how to protect the good players of your squad. I think he was one of the best players on the team last year.
