In the few matches that Milan have run in pre-season he has always been a Targetman and his form is still quite good.
Currently their condition is really chaotic in attack. Origi, Giroud are having problems despite only having to rest for a few weeks. Zlatan still cannot be played until the middle of the season, so their attack must really play without mistakes there.

Do you see managers being the highest paid people in a club? They do not, and Ibrahimovic is a glorified manager now, he is a coach, he is not even playing anymore because he is injured, and yet he still gets the highest salary in the club which makes no sense to me at all.

They've lost some of their forwards and it's very likely that Rebic will struggle alone up front but it's a bit difficult to keep him running for 90 minutes. Fortunately the midfield and their Second Striker can still be relied on if you look at the results of their last match.

This season will be very challenging for AC Milan because they have to protect the Scudetto and at the same time have to play in Champions League. More pressure than in the past season and let's see how they can handle it in a long season. AC Milan has a Champions League DNA so they will not sacrifice Champions League for Serie A.

Sadly I am going to be the naysayer but I have to say I really don’t feel like AC Milan is going to be able to defend their league title successfully. The squad that they have currently is not capable of doing that. And the only positive for them going into the next season is Juventus could have been a big problem for them but the way things are turning out Juventus is quite out of the equation right now. But the other big names like Inter, Roma, and Atalanta are going to cause a lot of problems for them. And those teams have better squads compared to AC Milan.

AC Milan should be able to get away from Ibrahimovic. Indeed, Milan need him, but his current condition no longer good for Milan.
