It is remarkable that Atalanta lose so many points in the competition. That Atalanta team from a few seasons ago reached the Champions League a few years in a row with 2nd and 3rd places, but this season it seems to be going a lot less. They still have some matches to repair the damage, but it will be a difficult story to secure the Champions League this way. Maybe they should invest in a real top striker. Milan were the favourite to win the Empoli match and they did exactly that by 1-0. And they are certainly closing this week as the leader now. Napoli won their tough Verona match by 2-1 and maintained the gap with Milan. But Inter are in an interesting situation right now. They are playing an away match against Torino now and they are 1-0 behind by the goal they have just conceded. This could be a big problem for Inter I think. They will have to do more work to make a comeback and keep the same point gap with Milan.

Just few minutes back we have two results from Serie A both were not good for teams which need to win and have some hopes for qualifying into top ranks Atlanta after having very good start of season now suddenly on back foot and losing points very quickly now most chances they will stay at fifth position and Roma which also held with score of 1 - 1 now have sixth spot in their control.

With these results now top four spots are fixed for relative teams inter can take second spot if they beat Torino and then still have very good chance for having top spot because from Milan as they have one match in and gape could be just two points which is not enough in current situation after many years we have very exciting end of this league as three teams are strong enough for having title in their hands.
Now any team can go through and team with lose performance can face shock for going down but not out from top four.

I lean towards saying that Juventus Turin is still not 100% out of the race for the championship title. I know it is not the most realistic scenario, but if they could continue a winning streak of another 5 or 6 games, I can imagine that they would be very close to the top.
They have less pressure now from below them. Atalanta failed, Roma failed. It would really be fun to see Juventus chase the top 3 and get engaged in the fight for the 1st rank eventually. Juventus is definitely one of the winners this weekend.

Schalke is only four points behind the top three in the league and they can certainly catch up with them if they keep winning and don't drop any points.

It will be really interesting to see which team is in the top 3 drops point first.
But I have to say that we are all talking about Darmstadt and Werder Bremen but I really don't see St Pauli dropping points either.
