At the beginning of next week Simone Inzaghi will finally welcome back all the national players who are still enjoying their last few days of holiday. The first week of August will be important for the Nerazzurri because another great return is expected in Milan: that of Christian Eriksen.
He will undergo several medical checks and if his mental and physical conditions will be deemed good the doctors could decide to remove his internal defibrillator which would mean he could legally be entitled to play again in Serie A!
Didn't expect to see him willing to play again, I mean regarding the tragic event that day in EURO I was waiting for him to retire! I find it risky to remove the ICD so early even if medics allowed it. Italy is very strict about medical conditions, if he fails the checkup and willing to continue playing, he can move to another league like Netherlands...

For Inter, first weeks with Simone Inzaghi will be very important. They would like to have a good start in the Serie A. They still have their best players in their squad. They just need a really decent game plan to have a similar season to the last season. But this won't be easy for Inter surely.

Martinez is not a striker as what he usually plays in Inter Milan and in Arghentina. He is not a target man like Lukaku. If Inter Milan need to find another target man to replace Lukaku, they can look at Lewandowski, Edin Dzeko, Patrick Schick, Ronaldo.

With their limited funds and financial problems from their owners, I think they will not find any good striker to replace Lukaku if they actually sell him on the transfer market.

Martinez does not have skills to play as Benzema or Kane who can be both target man as well as registra.
For Inter, Ronaldo and Lewandowski are simply out of place, the club will never go to such expenses to buy players of this level. The best option would be to keep Lukaku, but how will he play next season without Conte? This is another question.
They literally cut ties with their manager as far as I know, just because they weren't capable of getting a good transfer, and a championship winner for the first time in how many years as well, you keep those managers dearly when you can.

This shows that you should be focusing on getting a lot better instead of doing all of this, many teams end up not being good at all due to pandemic and Ronaldo? Lewandowski? Those are not the names you look at when you have Lukaku on your team, even if they were to be able to buy those players, which they are not, they would rather spend that money on another position, why look at strikers when you already have one of the best ones in the league? This is why I believe Inter will not get those, but they will also not have any more 20+ million euro transfers neither, they are probably done for the season.

I don't think it will be that easy, even if it succeeds in removing the defibrillator but still, Inter will still fight even harder to convince Eriksen that Eriksen can actually return to play safely. Imo, Eriksen still needs time to return to play or sad news may come about his career, because Eriksen's arrival back to Inter is not for training sessions but to talk about whether his career will continue or not. Well, I personally still hope that Eriksen can recover and be 100% healthy again, but if I consider from some of his progress so far it seems that Eriksen's permission to be able to return to play may be very difficult.
He will have to consider what is more precious with him and his family. Football, his career or his lovely family. He will never know what will happen if he continues his career. Even medical doctors tell him it is safe enough, there will be risk that nobody knows ahead of time.

Before his horrific accident in Euro, he has a good health record.

I'm not an Inter Milan fan, but for Eriksen, I also wish the same thing. He is too young to retire. He still has a chance to feel the champion with his club. if indeed Eriksen decides to retire, I hope, in the future he can still coach the club and become a successful coach by awarding trophies.
He can play but not in Italy. As I know, Italy don't allow sport athletics includes football players who have serious cardiovascular problems to play. Eriksen can not play in Premier League as well. I think he can return to Ajax Amsterdam and continue his career there.

It's a big loss if Inter Milan let go of Lukaku this season, Lukaku is one of the strikers who is quite dangerous and has a vital role for Inter Milan last season in winning the Scudetto and I think that role will be very difficult to replace by Martinez, even though Inter Milan is in a very poor financial condition It's bad at the moment but they should still maintain Lukaku if indeed Inter Milan want to be able to compete for the Scudetto next season, currently Inter Milan is still in the stage of getting back up to return to being a contender for the Italian League title after experiencing adversity in recent years.
I think that Inter has no chance to fight for the title without Conte ...

Three days ago I read Inter want at least 120 million Euro for Romelu Lukaku and today I read they refused Chelsea's 130 million Euro offer. Lukaku is indispensable player for Inter but how can you refuse 130m for any player? Recently we saw Haaland's comments about ridiculously high transfer fees, it puts extra pressure over players.
I'm sure they can replace Lukaku with 130m, they already have Lautaro Martinez as striker. One thing they can't replace is probably Antonio Conte.

I think when teams place a huge amount of  money on any player, they are simply unwilling to sell. They recently sold Hakimi for 80m to PSG and are trying to use the funds to fix the holes in the squad so they can compete this coming season. Selling Lukaku means, they have to find a striker again because Lautaro is not a Striker, he is more like an inside forward. Lukaku cannot be replaced; there are few out and out striker in the world in their prime, lukaku, kane, haaland, lewandoski (few years left at the top),

I just saw the news about Lautaro Martinez from the Local Sports News Portal.

Intermilan open bids for Lautaro Martinez, Europe's Top 5 Clubs Line Up.

Among them are Chelsea and Manchester City, it is reported that Lautaro Martinez is tired of being in Romelu Lukaku's shadow.

Martinez will not be able to replace Lukaku, these are players of different levels. But 130 million for Lukaku is a lot of money, I can hardly believe that any club was ready to pay that kind of money for this striker.

According to the words of the president of the Italian Federation, the green pass will have to consider everyone, both players and fans. The proposal of the Federation is in line with that of the Italian government and will consider whether to extend the vaccination campaign and possibly adopt measures to make the vaccine mandatory for its members. It seems clear that we are moving towards a decision whereby those who do not have the vaccine will not be able to perform competitive activities.
It will become more commonly applied around Europe as well as around the world. After the time, months of freedom of choice, to choose whether you want to take vaccine doses or not, now governments unofficially force their citizens to accept vaccination.

People have freedom to reject vaccination but they will have some restrictions in their nations. Unofficially governments force people to accept Covid-19 vaccines. I think it is good strategy because after months, approved vaccines show good effectiveness and very little side-effects.

This strategy will bring the world back to new normality faster, includes sports and football. This also will help to reduce risk of more deathly mutation from the virus.
Vaccinated people will still spread the virus so I would not be so sure about the fact that we will bring the world back to a "new normality faster". What is this new normality? It is not fair to impose the vaccination as per the category of people in Italy, it is against the Constitution. So either they will make the jab mandatory for everyone or I expect a lot of court battles.
Very little side-effects? Go tell those who died, got permanently ill or else after being jabbed. This is a serious matter.

Arteta is actually in the lookout for a new attacking midfielder, but not a player as old as Ramsey. He played pretty well in his time at Arsenal, but this current squad does not need a player from 26 years and above. The management wants to build the team on the soldiers of young boys like Smith,Saka,Martinelli, and Tierney. An attacking midfielder like Maddison will be welcomed at Arsenal.

James Maddison is one of the talented players that I'm fond of in the EPL. He is still 24 and has a market value which is €55m. Arsenal would really make use of a strong midfielder now. And Maddison is one of the best candidates. But I'm doubtful about whether Leicester would be eager to sell him now.

I can understand why Inter changed their decision, because Inter were in a financial crisis, so they thought about selling Lukaku. But maybe after
thinking about it, Lukaku's performance with Inter in the 2020/2021 season was extraordinary. His contribution was very important for Inter to win
the Serie A trophy. That's why Inter are now rejecting a very large offer from Chelsea, it's true that with 130 million euros, Inter should be able to
find a replacement for Lukaku, especially since Inter still have Lautaro Martinez. But maybe Inter management has other considerations, now with
this rejection Chelsea may be focusing on pursuing Haaland again. Regarding Antonio Conte I agree with you, he is irreplaceable, and I doubt
Simone Inzaghi can bring success to Inter.

My question is: what will happen when Italian players will play against other players from different federations who have not get a jab?
Interesting
I believe it will be a common thing in the next couple months and not limited to spectators. Those who refuse to take the vaccine will be marginalised and their access to many facilities will be limited. France is already trying to impose this.
Whenever Italian teams will face another team in Italy, not vaccinated supporters might not be able to be in the stadium unless being vaccinated or maybe having negative PCR and passing 10 days in quarantine.

Yes and Germany is doing or planning the same. The legal question was whether event managers of all kinds of events (soccer, concerts, etc.) are allowed to exclude people from their events based on not being vaccinated. A first answer from the minister for legal issues was yes, they are allowed to exclude those people. That leads to an indirect obligation to get the vaccine because otherwise you simply can't participate in most of the every day social life.

I think Italy will be quite strict about it as well because they have been among those who have been hit the hardest during the first wave and they certainly remember that and don't want that to repeat itself.

According to some rumours, Juventus are keen on selling Aaron Ramsey as they see him as a financial burden now. The player played in 22 Serie A games in the last season. He scored 2 goals and made 5 assists. He is 30 now and his market value is €14m. I wonder whether Arsenal would be willing to sign him back.

Aaron Ramsey was signed to Juventus free of charge when his contract with Arsenal expired. They agreed on £187,000 a week. When we look at last year's statistics, we see that this decision of Juventus may make sense. If they can sell, they will both get rid of the weekly wage and the club will make money.
