News outlet Calciomercato wrote that Juventus got a huge offer for Chiesa, who is part of a special list of non-transferable players. Juventus has sent back all the offers received so far, including those of Bayern Munich and Chelsea: according to some German sources, the blues would have offered 100 million euros. "No, thanks" was Juventus' answer. Which thinks that to go back winning Scudetto, Chiesa is one of those indispensable players.

Chiesa is a good player no doubt, but I don't think that he is worth such amount 100 million euros is pretty too huge for Chiesa, this is what Arsene wenger was trying to fight for back then, clubs want to spend huge amount of money in order to get a player by all means, I believe Barcelona had learned from this due to their transfer of Coutinho and Dembele, other clubs will soon learn in the hard way
For 100 million you could sell and take two good players. As long as English clubs have money, players need to be used and sold at premium prices. In a couple of years, the prices for players will fall and such large amounts will not be offered for players.
With the way its going, I don't think that the price for players will decline easily, just take a look at the rumoured price Man city are willing to offer Messi if he intend to join them, record will likely be broken and it will keep on going on like that, in future someone is going to break the mouth watering Neymar payment record, Wenger warned us against such  from occurring

Yes Inter is one of the clubs experiencing a financial crisis this year but they are still active in the transfer market yes indeed there are no expensive players bought only standard players, I don't see any competitive interest at Inter Milan this season and I doubt they can't keep the title.
I watch the Serie since 1999 and I don't like the wave of new owners from the US. or China. Those Italian clubs should be owned by Italians. I would like to see the time of 2 decades ago.

With the financial crisis, not only in football, together with what happened in Chinese Superb League, crisis in Inter Milan is not strange. At least, they won't a Scudetto before a crisis or likely collapse.

I like Inter because of Conte. After he left, I feel Inter has lost of soul. Conte is great Italian Football which has the world's best coach image. After Inter doesn't have planning in the future, doesn't have planning to buy a potential player, and doesn't have a strategy to change the formation, Conte feels he must leave the club which not has development. Agree, Inter this session will not competitive, I see Milan and Juventus will race in position 1.
Inter Milan love Conte too. They did not want Conte to leave and they used to shed a light that they can agree salary cut if Conte stays at the club. Unfortunately, after the talk to director board, Conte did not satisfy with the future development plan and transfer budget, then he decided to leave the club.

Conte is a very energetic and inspirational coach. He achieves good results in any clubs he worked for, even with Italy.

~snip~They won the Serie A title quite easily and Juventus were too far away from them in the standings. But now, I see Juventus being more advantageous in the new season compared to Inter. Because we don't know what Inter players will do with Inzaghi. Will they have any adaptation problems to his system or not?
~snip~
Do you think the Juve squad is the same as Inter? I do not think so. I prefer Juventus, last season they didn't win because they had new, inexperienced players. Now that Alegri is coming maybe he will recompose but I don't think it will be big. Then regarding Inter, are they healthy. The club's financial news that was not good made Conte leave, the club could not fulfill the desire to buy new players. In addition, regarding the group sunning, I heard that it was difficult and limited funds flow to Inter because of restrictions by China.

Oliver Grioud already "worths" 4 million and he is 34 years old, you do not make a "loss" from a player who played for god knows how many games, he played maybe 100 games or so in chelsea? That is basically all you paid for, anything more than that is just greed because he is 34 years old, why would you want so much money for someone who is at that age?

It was obvious that even that 1 million was just a show and not really cared, a team such as Chelsea who are willing to pay 150 million for Haaland right now, usually do not cares about 1 million. That is why I honestly believe that there is a good chance we just saw a player getting fired and sent to another team. Milan will not be able to get too much of a benefit from him neither, dude hasn't been as good as he used to be for the whole season and I doubt that he will become a good one this season.

I personally liked Juventus more than Inter for a long time and until now I am still the same. Inter did not seem to be able to comply with Conte's previous wishes because of their poor financial condition, and perhaps that could be justified as the reason for Conte's departure despite Inter's success in securing the SerieA title. Alegri is a good coach for Juventus, and he understand what he has to do to have the best squad at Juventus. I hope he makes Juventus better than the previous season.

In addition, I still really want AC Milan to take last season's mistake as good lessons to improve and improve their game in the 2021-2022 season. They seem to have started to be competitive again and that need to improve, and yes they need some new strength there.

So far I think a little effective, just look at Ibrahimovic he is doing well. At the start of the season I thought Milan would win Serie A this season. But at the end of the season they are having a hard time breathing, because of the injury. I think this also needs an evaluation again, they have to make a combination of young and old. They have to be ready as well for the back-up players. Their schedule will be very busy next season. Especially in UCL, they have to be good at dividing players.
Milan made a mistake when he began to accentuate not young players such as Ibrahimovic and Mandzukic. This can give a result for one or a maximum of two seasons, but then again you need to look for players who can play the whole season at a high level, and this requires a lot of effort.

Milan needs some young players. Ibra is a very experienced and skilled player, he still has an outstanding performance. But he is old. Playing without injury throughout the season is very difficult for him. So AC Milan should look for players who can perform consistently like Messi and Benzema throughout the season.

Buying old players is not bad enough as far as that players give positive contributions for clubs. I remember when Milan have a lot of old players Inzaghi, seedorf, gattuso, maldini and other, they are olds but still giving their best performance for Milan and always qualified for Champions. but, if buying olds players just to sit down on the bench, this is very funny decisions  Grin

Add the fact they lost Donnarrumma for free...
This is the situation in Italy, there is no money like in Spain and probably in Germany too.

Only teams in premier and PSG has money.
yes, they don't have money, but actually AC Milan has a chance to sell him last season if they can't accept Donnarumma request about his salary. Now, they are losing more money because release him for free.

-snip -
I agree why many Serie A teams choose to bring in older players, because they don't have the money like the Premier
League and PSG teams. So I understand why AC Milan brought in old players, although signing Mandzukic proved a failure, but at least
AC Milan did not incur a large transfer fee.

Yeah its true Oliver Giroud make new destination to AC Milan with value  €2m and use number 9 there, I think become good partner for Zlatan and still waiting how many goal scoring by Giroud in AC Milan, not get enough minutes playing in Chelsea he try lucky will get more minutes in AC Milan or not, how ever he has passion how to make goal and AC Milan still see how potential Giroud or not.
Giroud might have a position on the bench and play as productive substitution for AC Milan. I don't think Giroud will begin matches together with both Rebic and Ibra.

The cost is cheap and Milan has a good player who can contribute to the team, does not break teammateship and can score important goals. I hope the appearance of Giroud will not constrain the growth of Rebic. He is a future of Milan after Ibra and Giroud leave the club or retire.

If you look at the situation at other clubs, then Juventus is undoubtedly the main contender for the title this season. Against the background of competitors, Juventus has a fairly balanced squad, which, with some strengthening and high-quality coaching, Allegri serves as a significant trump card in the chances of the title. I am not sure that Inzaghi will be able to squeeze the best out of the players in the same way as Conte did this season. Moreover, Conte himself realized that the best could not be achieved even under the current difficult financial conditions and could even be even worse, and wisely left the club. Milan is also busy building and strengthening a strong team, although of course the departure of Donnarumma as a free agent slightly spoils this impression.
Bringing Allegri back is a smart movement of Juventus board to help the club resumes back to their winning track. Allegri was sacked because he counlld not help Juventus get the Champions League. However he brought Juve to two final matches and only failed because opponents are Barcelona and Real Madrid.

This resume, I think Max will hardly be able to blwin Champions League but it might not be a main reasons why he is back. Serie A first then let's see.

Now Inter have Simone Inzaghi as their coach instead of Antonio Conte. They had an incredible season with Conte. They won the Serie A title quite easily and Juventus were too far away from them in the standings. But now, I see Juventus being more advantageous in the new season compared to Inter. Because we don't know what Inter players will do with Inzaghi. Will they have any adaptation problems to his system or not? And Juventus have Allegri finally after having a terrible season with Pirlo. I believe that Allegri will make a huge difference for them. I expect a much more productive and strong Juventus in the new season in the Serie A. I think that they will compete very well for the title and maybe even win it.

This is the most annoying strategy, they often sell young players who have the potential to bring in older players. Giroud has experience, it is necessary to make Milan youth team have a mentor. but, what would happen if the conditions same as mandzukic, he earned a salary of 5 million euros per season, but he was like a lost player because he was rarely played by AC Milan. Well hopefully, Milan doesn't waste money on old players for now, giroud give something positive for Milan like Ibrahimovic did.

It's a shame AC Milan released a player like Donnarrumma for free, even though AC Milan should be able to get big money from
the sale of Donnarrumma. This is a lesson for AC Milan not to make the same mistakes in the future, where the star player was
immediately offered a contract extension, before his contract expires and immediately sell the player if he doesn't want to extend
the contract. I agree why many Serie A teams choose to bring in older players, because they don't have the money like the Premier

Is really a big lose to Chelsea. Although, while with Chelsea, Giroud won the FA cup, Europa League and the Champion League. He contributed greatly to Chelsea. He spent 9 years in the Premier League and will be his first time playing in the Serie A. With his experience in the Premier League, he will indeed contribute to Milan. I wish him Good luck in his new team.

Oliver Giroud will be missed definitely but will never be a great loss to Chelsea... Quite obvious he contributed for the growth of the team to win the Europe League, Fa cup as well the Champions League.
All the Best Oliver over the Seria A side.
