It is report from early days of Ronaldo in Juventus. Do you know latest report on this? I don't know but I believe the income from CR7 jersey is big.
Yes, I remember when Juventus get Ronaldo, they makes a lot of money from Jersey. But, from recent rumor i've read, Juventus ready to sell Ronaldo, even with 25m Euro, from this rumor, I think they are have a serious financial problem since COVID-19, news reported if Juventus revenue minus 20%. Read more

It will be very difficult to be good if you have players at this time. Maybe just getting into the top five is very good for Roma next season. Currently the financial factor is very important to boost the club's achievements. Those who have a lot of money will have better achievements because they can buy great players. Actually I can't wait how he will train there, several times the nickname faded after many failures created by him.
I'm also not sure that as good as mourinho next season, he can bring Roma to win the Serie A. However, I predict Roma could be in 2nd or 3rd position next season. The reason, Napoli, Inter and AC Milan are likely to return to inconsistent performance. Regarding the competition for 2nd place, I think there is potential between Atalanta and AS Roma.

I have to say his previous attempts weren't that awesome neither. I mean he was with United before Spurs and his United stint didn't end that well neither, and before that he was in Chelsea again and that wasn't so great neither.

Mourinho hasn't been a great manager for a while now and people fail to see that, just because of his previous years he is still thought as a great manager but his good days are behind him, football evolved around him and now today's football doesn't care for the "park the bus" method or whatever else he can conjure up and that is why Mourinho became an "ok" manager at best. Roma wil basically be an "ok" team once again and nothing more. Anyone who thinks that Roma will have sudden success all because they got Mourinho doesn't have a clue about what he has achieved in the past 5 years, because he has achieved nothing at all.

I'll give you that. Football has evolved and Mourinho's playing style has been just old-fashioned for a long time. But he still doesn't give up on his tactic and gameplay. He should already have understood it and made radical changes. Who knows, maybe he'll do it at Roma and I hope so. Otherwise, it'd be another sad year for Mourinho and his team.
I personally think that these five years of Morinho's unsuccessful seasons at different clubs might just be an experience he has had so far.He might have seen that his own style of football is now old-fashioned considering the way things are going now.All I'm saying is that Morinho might change his game plans at Roma, learn from his past mistakes, and try to make his spell at Roma a success.

I don't know, I don't think I am that excited to be honest. When he was coaching Tottenham I wasn't even interested in following Mourinho after a while. Roma is quite the average team. So he either manages to score some big points in the first games and everybody gets excited, or he starts out in the middle of the league table and stays there the whole season and nobody would pay attention.
It is true also. When Mourinho came to Tottenham, I was really unsure about him. And he had a really bad season at Tottenham. They barely managed to qualify for the Europa Conference League after the games of the last week.

We have an Inter example with Mourinho in the past also. It's the reason I'm curious whether he could be successful at another Italian team again. I guess we won't be able to figure it out before seeing many games in the league.

Success or not Jose Mourinho in AS Roma depend how management give him free money to get player depend on he want, we know how AS Roma financial right now, more than ten year when Juventus and AC Milan dominance in Serie A AS Roma never get star player and always try to get low budget player to bring on Olimpico, now when Mourinho as coach can management give him great player or not.
The success of a team can never be measured how rich the team is today. Manchester City and PSG are two very rich team, have many top players but they always fail in the Champions League. Mourinho is a good coach, but he is no longer the same, imo.

-snip-
I no longer believe in Mourinho. Previously he was one of the smartest coach with a great style of play for any team he coached. But after many failure in the OT, I'm sure it will never be the same again.

Im sure Mourinho is or should I say was a good coach but then, his issues lately with most of the teams he has managed, has it been about the funds available to him on getting players or his attitude towards the players themselves. If we like it or not, they bitb play a role as to the success of a coach and in turn, a team. Yeah, the funds do contribute to these factors in a way but then, having the best players in a team and not getting there minds a right could also destabilise your team and game plan. We saw this when he coached Chelsea,  where the players bluntly refused to be at there best becuase of the way he managed them. First class players or not, with the right management, you can still win trophies or go far in a league or competition.

Smart is not enough, there must be skills
Almost everyone is curious about what Mourinho is going to do when the new season starts. The most attracting team seem to be Roma now. There are many people who think that Roma could end in even top 3.

Maybe it's the old style that will change. Maybe. LOL.
As a coach he should have corrected himself. He should have a record in the ledger, how he made a mistake. The strategy that became his mainstay was very easy to thwart. He has to change if he wants to bring Roma to the top 3, besides that he needs new quality players.

I don't know if it's not his era of glory anymore or it's bad for mourinho because with some big notebooks that he certainly has to look back on what happened before him, correcting that was very important during his time at Manchester and Hotspurs why he couldn't be a part the top standings in the primary league, now in Serie A, the challenge is even tougher. Roma will not dare to buy big players and only rely on what is available, but I think with the preparations now, hopefully mourinho and change the glory again and can bring roma better.

New strategies must be improved and the old style of play must be abandoned.

As an experienced coach, Morinho is certainly expected to be able to bring Roma back to the championship track, especially with his reputation as an accomplished coach, of course Roma fans have high expectations of Morinho now, but no matter how good a coach is if not supported by a qualified squad, of course it will only be in vain, that's why right now roma must move quickly to get some players who can indeed lift roma's performance next season, reportedly roma is currently eyeing several players, namely Rui Patricio (goalkeeper), Xhaka (midfielder), and also Cristiano Biraghi (defender).

unless he is able to prove his capacity as a great coach and still deserves to be called the special one.

Great coaches can make mediocre teams and players to get achievements, not by spending a lot to buy star players and expensive players to get achievements, see how Atalanta improve and Juventus decline. Mou has done it many times, bought expensive players but did not give many achievements and even failed at several clubs he has coached recently, so I personally see that Mou can no longer be called the special one because of his several failures to coach big teams before. But hopefully Mou can get back on track with Roma, although I'm still not sure Mou can do it quickly. But if Mou manages to bring Roma to finish in at least the top 4 to bring Roma to the UCL then I think it's good enough as his first season with Roma, let's wait.

Yes, they have a lot of partners at the moment, but are you sure money from sponsors is enough to pay Ronaldo's salary and team?  if I'm not mistaken, Juventus is also ready to accept offers from other clubs for only 25 million Euros for Ronaldo if any clubs wants his service. But so far no one has been willing to bid for that price. This can be a proves that Juventus seems to be burdened with the salary they have to pay to Ronaldo.

They already have almost 35 official partners. You can check here https://www.juventus.com/id/partners/#rekan. Even from my country, I am also officially a partner of Juve, which is a coffee brand. It seems that relying on sponsors will not be enough. They need to come from other sources. Sales of jerseys, match tickets and of course investors. Sometimes I'm also surprised by the price and player pay that is not balanced with the championship prize.

Spinazzola sends message after surgery and The first interview in full (Jose Mourinho)
Spina looks better after the surgery and Mourinho has a good interview in which he said he was in since the first day and he was very impressed about Romanista.

Mourinho is awared of what Roma ended in the last season, compares to the fourth position and the Scudetto winner, Inter Milan.

Looking forward to having a good season for Roma and Mourinho.

But now spinazzola was injury and early Serie A game miss by him and Mourinho have wait for one or two months to see his back on the field, spinazzola make wonderful performance and keep giving more contribution for Italy on EURO 2020 but last game he was injury and miss match semifinal faced with Spain, and if Italy success pas to final he just become watcher only and very bad situation for him.

Fortunately, in Europe, it is possible to bring supporters to the field, this will at least increase income for the club in general. However, to pay Ronaldo, it looks like Juve need more sponsors to maintain their finances.
