Manchester united and Tottenham have great players but in Mourinho's hands the club doesn't have a special word so I think it's still lacking in Mourinho's tactics, especially AS Roma who have standard players so I think for the beginning maybe they will try to balance the players in the best standings.
But that's how in every League there is always a different feeling with Mourinho (perhaps) but is it possible to bring Roma to be better like in the Totti era before it?

But the possibility of such events happening in the seria A is very much possible but as you already said, these kinda situations are rare and shocks a lot of people when it eventually happens because no one would expect such a reward. As Roma might not be the #1 team in Italy but they've a more better chance at winning the title compared to other teams that finished in the bottom half of their table. Roma is a good team but they keep missing out on winning trophies every single season. They need to do more.
