I do not think Ronaldo is the problem. Ronaldo, although he started off as a winger, is a striker now and we must appreciate that he is one of the best at it. We all applaud Van Persie, Suarez, Aguero for their single-mindedness as strikers but call Ronaldo selfish. Nobody calls Messi or Lebron James selfish for always demanding the ball. What Juventus needs a functional front line that plays to Ronaldo’s strength. Rooney is always regarded as one of the best strikers to ever play the game but he was never too 9 at United and I don’t think he ever finished 1st on the goalscoring charts. He played as a supporting striker to Tevez, Berbatov, Van Persie and even Owen. Dybala plays the same role but can’t seem to find a regular starting position in Juventus and that isn’t Ronaldo’s fault. We must also point our that Juventus is the first team to play Ronaldo as an out and out striker. He scored from the wings for Lisbon, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Portugal (with strikers like Van Nistelrooy, Rooney, Tevez, Benzema, Gomis), so why is Juventus trying so hard to fix what wasn’t broken?
It is never about just one guy. Ronaldo is a great player and that is why the success or the failure will always be because of him according to some people, but it is not always about him. I always give the same answer to these type of one guy things, Haaland is a great player who scored more goals than anyone except Lewa, that should mean that Dortmund is at the top or close by right? Wrong, they are 5th in bundesliga because rest of the team is not as good as him, but he does whatever he can.
It is never about one guy and Ronaldo is a great player, however he shouldn't be forced to win the games for his team all the time, he should be helping of course but a win or loss shouldn't be depending on how he plays, it should depend on every player, he could cause them to lose once or twice or win once or twice but all losses or all wins can't be attributed to them alone.
