I'm not sure about Juventus - their current takeoff is just a consequence of easy games...
Me neither. And despite a relatively easy calendar of fixtures in December, they lost two valuable points against Venezia two rounds ago when they drew 1:1.

...its shown with every passing round that inter will be the champion this season.
They are the most consistent team and they seem to have the squad that wants the league title the most. I never expected Milan to be on top despite their good form at the beginning of the season. I think Napoli is and remains the biggest rival to Inter's throne. Their current bad form is partially due to several important injuries and absences. As soon as those players return, I expect to see them back to their old self.

Quite disappointed to see Atlanta lose with big score, should if they are able to win they they can surpass Milan place especially Milan suffered a defeat to Napoli which is also quite surprising. From four teams competing in the title race, Inter who look consistent so far.

Atalanta's loss was truly surprising and disappointing. I think that they are going through an out-of-shape period. Milan as well, without Ibra they have a huge issue in attack, and scoring one goal looks like climbing Everest! Now Inter takes another advantage to take the trophy. After all, it's the most serious and stable Serie A team this season.
The competition in the league this season is indeed quite heated, because each team has a small difference in points from the other teams, atlanta who is ranked 4th actually has the opportunity to shift Naples and AC Milan, but unfortunately the defeat to Roma clearly worsened their position, I think this season the competition for the scudetto will belong to the top 4 teams and the inter milan who currently have 43 points are not yet in a safe position because they will soon face big teams and are prone to dropping points in the second half of the season.

I said that anything could happen in the Milan vs Napoli match and that was really what happened last night. Napoli were the most performing team in the first half and ended it being 1-0 ahead by an early goal that was scored by E. Elmas. In the second half, Milan tried to give their best to equalize the score but it was in vain unfortunately. They actually scored in the last minutes of the match but it was cancelled due to offside. However, it was a disputable call by VAR I think. And as a result, Napoli managed to win this difficult match by 1-0 away.
Milan goal was a clear offside. It was really though in the second half for Napoli to maintain the lead but the did with so much effort. Yes there was a win but it wasn't an easy one. Napoli keeps toping Milan on the leagues table as both shares the same points while the season keeps drawing closer for who emerges the champion of the Italian league

In this match there were actually some controversial refereeing decisions that were actually detrimental to both parties and maybe the disallowed Milan goal was one of them.
Football rules these days seem to have changed, because lately there's been a lot unaccepted, inconsistent and controversial football decisions from the VAR and the referees. Decisions are now very unpredictable, i don't know if the people to blame are the ones who programmed the VAR machine or the machine itself, something has to be done. Milan pressed hard in the game, but it seems Napoli kept a high defensive line because Milan were offside a couple of times. I feel some offside decisions were correct, while some were not.
With VAR, in fact, sometimes there are advantages and sometimes disadvantages because this is a machine and a machine sometimes experiences errors and this is what makes VAR a lot of opposition.
the rest is about human error I don't want to talk about this because if you see and explain it will be very difficult for most fans to accept.
but on the other hand VAR should be able to help the referee but what is happening right now is a lot of controversy there.
The rules contained in true football are that it must be renegotiated again because there are some that do not match the reality there.

Tammy Abraham has been involved in the past six games for As Roma, scoring a total of six goals.
In this six games, he's been absent for the following matches,Spezia, inter Milan and Bologna.
What prolific stricker Jose Mourinho is turning him into.

Tammy Abraham managed to score two goals after a two-match break in the Serie A. These goals came in a very critical match and it was nice to see this from him. Abraham is one of the best strikers they have now and maybe even the best one. But he scored only 6 goals in 17 matches so far too. He needs to improve his performance to be more beneficial for his team's rise in the standings.

Milan and Napoli both had a really tough match against each other in San Siro. To tell the truth, I was favouring Milan to win by a close gap in the worst case. After they were left 1-0 behind by Napoli very early, I still thought that they would turn the game around and defeat their opponent even if it would have been difficult. But they couldn't react to the goal in the first half. And they started having many dangerous attacks in the second half but still they couldn't do anything against losing to them by 1-0.

Maybe the call for an offside about the Milan's goal was controversial. But still, this won't change the reality that Milan had really big problems on scoring in this match. The goal was scored so late which was even disallowed. They should really improve their offense to be able to play big in this kind of important matches also. Otherwise, these serious point losses can cost them a lot in the future.
That offside yesterday was questionable but still weak performance from milan not only offensively but also defensively their goal difference is really weak compared to napoli and inter with this unstable results its shown with every passing round that inter will be the champion this season.

Ok, i got it. Most likely in the next match Juventus will not experience problems with Cagliari, but after that they will play against Napoli, which seems to be back in the game and won Milan today. To be honest, in this match I will be rooting for Napoli. By the way, thanks to today's victory of Napoli, Inter became the winter champion ahead of schedule  Smiley
Now with current situation I am also having no doubt about Inter that they are going to win this year's title because they are emerged on very good time with very good form and quality with today another big match which is Milan lost at home against Napoli gape is widen between top and second spot with 4 points all other teams struggling and losing points but Inter enjoying with their best form.

But, with this all look like Juventus is also going to have their spot in top four because they are also coming from behind and having some good points with some lower rank teams. But right now predicting about anyone is not easy as many ups and downs are waiting for happening in coming days with some transfer's area also going to happen and having their own impact on teams.

I'm not sure about Juventus - their current takeoff is just a consequence of easy games (the calendar is uneven), it is quite possible that when it starts playing with strong teams again, the results will deteriorate again. And in any case, it will be difficult to win the competition from Roma and Fiorentina, plus throwing Atalanta from 4th place since Atalanta has a big head start.

hmph..
I agree and to add I think Milan should worry about having at least 2 good players who score goals, the biggest problem for Milan at the moment is in attack, Zlatan Ibrahimović, Rafael Leão and Olivier Giroud are not producing good results and due to That's why Milan is wrong. Milan can only score a lot of goals when I play against teams like Genoa or Salernitana

Milan since last season have seen their weaknesses in attacking and defensive positions. bringing in Giroud wants to cover this weakness, but Giroud is not a young player. Indeed, Milan should have brought in attackers who could increase their goal productivity. Ibra is good, and Milan depend on him, but he has injury problems. When Milan lost Ibra and Giroud through injury, the Milan striker was no longer productive.

I have never in my life seen that a goal was disallowed for that. I dont know what kind of offside was that Giroud didnt even touch the ball and they called it.
I have just been looking at that decision on the replay. It's difficult to see but I don't think there was an offside for the cross where Giroud headed the ball just before the goal. If you look at the goal in this video, you will notice that at 2:09 Giroud lies on the ground in an offside position. As the shot comes his way, he makes an active movement to try and stand up or reach the ball. He is therefore in an offside position while doing that. It's a controversial decision, but still.

Too bad, I had a nice little AH0 bet on Milan that I lost. Had they drawn. I would have gotten my wager back at least.

It must be feeling really sad to lose your bet. Maybe it was a risky choice but not an unwise one. Because I think it was obvious that the winner team would defeat their competitor by a one-goal difference. These teams are really close to each other in terms of power now. And I was expecting a balanced match. But Milan's loss surprised me. In San Siro, they should have been able to get a result that wouldn't make their supporters very sad.

Milan has serious problems scoring a goal, Napoli is not doing well but at least they can score 1 goal and it would be enough if they had a basic defense to easily win the game Grin
Well, Milan makes us disappointed tonight, they can't take advantage by playing at home. So far Napoli's statistic is better, Milan is just a bit careless in 5'. but Milan should have caught up in the remaining time and they can't. This is for correction in midfield, Napoli is very easy to penetrate and move freely to arrange attacks. Milan should be active in the January transfer to buy a defensive midfielder.

It's true, yesterday at the livepool game, for example, there were several penalties that weren't scored, and it's hard to see what's been happening lately

It was a really great weekend for Inter. Because the things they wanted happened. They first destroyed Salernitana by a very comfortable score like 5-0. After that, Atalanta and Milan both lost to their opponents and this helped Inter widen the point gap with them. Now, their closest opponent in the table is Napoli but there is a gap of four points now. Let's see until when Inter will be able to keep this up.

I really don't know how the Milan - Napoli match yesterday got stuck at a 1-0 score.  Grin  Milan found so many opportunities to score in the second half actually. They still barely scored but it didn't even count because of offside. The Milan I have known so far should have equalized the score not much time later after conceding. This match was one of the crucial matches for both sides and Napoli got more than they wanted by defeating Milan. Now they are at the 2nd place and Milan follow them with the same points.

Milan is in a better shape than Napoli right now and Napoli will lose some players the following month.
Milan should win 2-0 / 2-1 imho.
According to that I think the leaderboard near the end will be.
1 Inter
2 Milan
3 Atalanta
4 Juve/Napoli
from the last few games napoli seems to have lost their magic and played not like napoli who were at the start of the league. sometimes things like this make a team go haywire and stumble.
now if they want to push back to the hunt I feel they need to get out of their slumber quickly because if they continue to sleep then it's possible that their current position will be overtaken by another team.
btw big match against milan they won by a narrow score. at least this can secure them in the high position this week
Milan could well have played in a draw if not for Kessier's goal canceled due to Giroud at the end of the meeting, but more would have been an injustice to Napoli, who quite worthily kept his victory during the match. Although, of course, at the end of the match, before the cancelled goal, Milan put good pressure near the opponent's goal. Thanks to this victory, Napoli was able to catch up with Milan in the championship standings and continues to have good chances to participate in the championship race. This result also helped Inter to win the first round of the championship regardless of the results of the next round 19.
In this match there were actually some controversial refereeing decisions that were actually detrimental to both parties and maybe the disallowed Milan goal was one of them.
but in the match when everything is over then the result is decided and napoli is the winner.
apart from that both teams played quite well and buying and selling attacks was quite exciting regardless of the results achieved I feel this is a pretty hot derby
