After the Premier League, Serie A is one of the best domestic leagues so far compared to other European leagues. Previously there was Laliga, Bundesliga and Ligue 1 but I think now the rankings have dropped after some of the star players left the club. Competition between Serie A teams is very tight, especially in the top 4 so far, AC Milan, Inter, Napoli and Atalanta are performing well so the competition is getting tougher to become champions at the end of the season.

So far Inter managed to lead the standings by shifting AC Milan at the top after some less impressive match. The difference in points between the teams is also not too big so the competition is expected to get better until the end of the season.

The only game left seems to be Roma vs Spezia for the recent week now. Roma have a two-game losing streak in the Serie A now and they would really like to destroy Spezia here in Stadio Olimpico. Spezia are one of the worst teams in the league now as we see them in the relegation zone. And they got three losses and one draw in their last four league games. In this case, I'm taking Roma's victory here for granted. And it'd help them gather themselves up too.

We have left a really interesting game weekend behind and the 1st place in the league table has changed hands. It was a really bad weekend for not only Milan but also Napoli. I guess that Inter used up all of their chances in this round of the league. Grin

We witnessed Milan to almost lose to Udinese if it weren't for Zlatan's life saving goal. And we saw that Napoli got an unbelievable defeat home vs Empoli by 1-0. And Inter benefited from this opportunity superbly by demolishing Cagliari by 4-0. And they have taken the lead in the league table consequently. The league is getting even more exciting every week.

We had defending champion on their seat back with very impressive win and Napoli and AC Milan now both losing points very frequently which is very poor from them but still it's a wide open competition now we have 4 teams for this year's title and two having good form with quality players in next round now we have AC Milan vs Napoli which mean one team is going to lose some more points, and It's going to strengthen the Inter cause for successfully defending their title.

It's now wide open 7 teams having very interesting competition for staying in top four with Napoli now can go out from this with Roma, Lazio and Juventus are in hunting all other three teams are doing much better than Napoli for staying at top.

As we are nearly the halfway, things are becoming clearer in the Serie A standings. We can see how much great form Inter have right now and they owe their leadership to that now. They waited patiently for the teams at the top to make mistakes and they got what they wanted so far. Milan and Napoli started showing a poor performance lately and we are seeing them behind Inter now.

Serial A is very competitive now and has drawn the attention of sports lovers to Italy.
Just a one game pushed first to forth and changed many things. This is a clear indication that the chances is opened to many clubs to win the title except Juventus.
Juventus is about 8points lesser than Napoli at the 4th position.
Again, Atlanta should not be under rated because apart from Inter, Atlanta is the second in goals which is also crucial to decide a competitive league.

Nope.
I meant Inter, as I said 2 months ago we needed to wait for December to see the real strength of Napoli and now we see they start losing points.
Meanwhile, Inter improved under the new coach and they started to win every game.
Keep also in mind Napoli will lose 2 -3 players next month for the Copa D' Africa.
So only Inter can lose the scudetto.

This season has suddenly got exciting. Napoli who absolutely crushed Lazio by 4 goals to nil,,, finally lost to a weaker team while Lazio also showed again how weak they can be away from home and Inter now forgot how to miss Lukaku and others.

And while all of this happens,,, of course Juventus fail to take full advantage with their own bad result.

And yet I still cannot take myself to bet against Juve,,, has anyone here made money from them?

I can not say Cagliari is a relegating candidate because of how the league is for now. Salernitana has the lowest point and likely will relegate this season but Spezia is not that encourage too and is the fourth on the last list. All the four clubs on the last list are not encouraging at all and any of them can relegate. Any of the club can pick up to leave relegation, Cagliari might pick up. But it can also be what you said.

Cagliari is no strong team compared to inter Milan, it's shocking looking at how big boys in Italian Seria A lost woefully yesterday.
From Lazio,to Napoli, Juventus drew though,but they really need to improve upon their performance if they should slide in the top four.

You have forgotten Napoli, 1 different point with Atalanta, and 4 different points with the no.1. Napoli was slipped in the last 2 games and has been shamed lost in the home today. They are still on track if take care to win the next San Siro. Right now, Inter and Atalanta are teams that have the perfect points in the last 5 games, if both continue like this, they will be on track the no.1 and 2, and Milan have the unstable performance to follow them the same as Napoli.

of course it did, even when only Napoli and Ac Milan at the top, now it's four teams close to each other in points, and they all have a chance to win Serie A, except for Atalanta in my opinion, they can't keep up with others for sure, Inter today made a convincing win against Caligari, and their comeback made a lot of people put them as the favorites to win serie a but I still believe that Ac Milan can do it this year.
