Yeah very different from Inter, Atlanta, Juventus and Napoli who still have to compete in European competitions, with this result Milan should be able to focus more on the Scudetto target especially now that they are leading the standings which is an advantage to continue to maintain their performances to stay in the top position until end the season, but we know that sometimes even big teams can be disappointing, which can give their competitors an advantage.
Napoli can be out of Europa League too and it means Napoli can have same advantage like AC Milan. If it happens, Inter Milan will have most pressure to allocate their resources appropriately for a long season.
To be fair, I see better player resource in AC Milan than in Napoli and I believe AC Milan will fight against Inter Milan for Scudetto, not Napoli. Juventus and Atalanta need to do some amazing matches to catch those clubs in Scudetto competition.
Milan is the rising star, but bad in the champions league. So far, the gap points are really tight even just have 4 difference points with 4th position Atalanta. Everything change can happen, Milan's position might be changed to 3rd position when lost versus Udinese while Inter won versus Cagliari and Napoli won versus Empoli. I just look at Atalanta as the best performance, win 5 games in a row, and never lost in 10 games, the last they lost by MU in the Champions league.
Milan are continuing their growth in Serie A since 3 seasons ago after Ibra participation. In Champions League, they need more seasons to be competitive again. Frankly they did not play too terrible in Champions League but results are bad. I am not worry about AC Milan in Champions League in future. They will be a strong team there in near future. At least they will not be out too early.
In Seria A, Atalanta is the most energetic team and they can make big surprise in Scudetto competition, not Napoli.
