I think Pirlo might be the problem at this point because if he has not created some leadership already he never will. When a coach is no longer in control of what happens in the locker room that might be a problem.

You need to remember, In serie-A, Juventus also still unbeaten from the match day 1. I'm also not sure with Pirlo from the beginning, but as mentioned by @hd49728, Juventus is the only one with 10 goal concededd till week 12.

Parma has been a tough opponent for Juve, historically speaking. If they do not get three points there they can forget about serie A.
I think no, they still have a chance, because there still 25 match after vs Parma, Juventus still can take the lead from Milan or Inter. The points gap with Milan only 4 points. The competition more interesting now, because, Milan underpressure, and Pirlo now proofing of his capability as potential coach in the future.

Next match. Milan will face Sassuolo, one of team that become a night mare for Milan, I think in this match, Milan will be struggling to get 3 points. Inter face Spezia, maybe we will se Inter on capolista.

Data might be still good but I personally do not like his way of playing. I mean, as a player, Pirlo was terrific such a great footballer, lamost a magician. Being a leader in the locker room is a completely different story. I am open to be proven wrong though  Wink

There is a milan that moves perfectly. He shows his quality once again with master names such as Milan Hakan Çalhanoğlu, who plays with his actors who are used to each other. Maybe Milan is going back to its old days, who knows? Champion candidate for me Milan

the problem of Papu gomez is very simple, he wants to leave atalanta and probably go to Juventus. It is a very common thing, already done by Bernardeschi and Chiesa when they played at Fiorentina. It's normal, even playing well, Atalanta will never win a title and Gomez wants to win something. the same will happen with Immobile and Belotti

It is true that Papu Gomez wants a new challenge, because Papu Gomez has been in Atalanta since 2014. And haven't even tasted winning
the Serie A trophies, so that's why Papu Gomez definitely wants to move clubs. And when the match Juventus vs Atalanta accidentally Papu
Gomez was caught on camera chanting Juventus anthem "Juve storia di un grande amore". This may indicate Papu Gomez wants to join Juventus.

Atalanta is just inconsistent and has internal problems with their coach with some players.
For now, we know he has big problems with Papu Gomez and someone else, and still, we have no info about Josip Iličić. What happened to him? No one knows.

Their coach is a s**thead, always said it.
It is a common problem for small clubs after one or two big successful seasons. Conflicts between coach and key players, between coach and club's board/ director, or a drain of key players from bigger clubs on the transfer market. Atalanta did well in 2 latest seasons but from all things happen this time, their rosy time won't last too long. They can improve and fix their internal problems but if they fail to fix such serious things, their rosy period comes to the end.

Papu were not a top player in Serie A before the appearance of Gasperini in Atalanta. I did not know Gasperini found a good system and helped Papu to show all of his best but maybe it is a mutual cooperation and growths for them and Atalanta. Papu is not young so if he want to go, Atalanta should let him go and keep the coach stay in their club, for their future growth.

I hope they will fix this problem soon by buying a new center-back next transfer season
I agree if Milan has a problem in the defense line, especially in CB (center-back). They look rather weak in defense and attacking line as well. Not only missing strong defenders, Milan also too much depends on Ibra. So, when Ibra gets injured, they have no other option for a strong striker (CF). Besides need a strong CB, Milan also needs to buy a strong CF in the next transfer window.

I've been saying the same thing for months, Milan have to buy a new player in January. Ibra is injured again and it is not known how long he will be able to return to play, for this we need another quality striker. I don't think Milan can win the Serie A championship, but surely with a new player they can place themselves in the top 4 and go to the Champions League next year

Excuse me if I were not polite to Atalanta. I really like Atalanta, and I root for this club because a player from Ukraine Malinovsky plays there and scores very beautiful goals. I wrote that Juventus is not playing confidently in the last matches with Atalanta, meaning that it is Atalanta who does not allow this. But for some reason Atalanta is not fighting for the Scudetto, only 8th place...

excuse me so much ... it could also be that the opposing team, that is Atalanta played very well, forcing Juventus to play badly
no?
clearly my speech is a fan, but remember that Atalanta also play in the Champions League and are not making a bad impression

Today's result

Juventus            1 - 1     Atalanta
Fiorentina          1 - 1     Sassuolo
Genoa               2 - 2     AC Milan
Spezia               2 - 2     Bologna
Inter Milan        1 - 0     Napoli
Parma               0 - 0     Cagliari
Hellas Verona     1 - 2    Sampdori
It seems that the stability of Milan's victory is starting to fall. After a resounding start to the season, Milan's two matches have ended in a draw. It seems that the absence of Simon Kjaer and Matteo Gabbia makes the Milan defense easy to break into. Just look at the last two matches Donaruma conceded 4 goals was bad. It seems that Milan must immediately clean up because they need a new center-back. It appears that Ozak Kabak of Schalke -04, and both Mohamed Simakan of Strasbourg have been suggested to Stefano Pioli by Maldini as Milan's technical director. I hope they will fix this problem soon by buying a new center-back next transfer season

Juventus did it again! I could have made some decent profit if Juventus would have won this game: Gollini saved a Ronaldo penalty just to ensure I would lose my bet.  Cheesy
Juventus in his last matches with Atalanta has not played confidently and often lose points, this match was no exception. Milan lost points again, although if you want to be a champion, then in matches with teams like Genoa you have to win. Inter, which was out from the Euro tournaments, will now fully concentrate its forces on Serie A. And if Juventus and Milan continue to lose points like this, then Inter will have a chance to lead the standings.

Roma are still below Juventus with the same points, only difference in goal difference, but I'm not sure Roma can overtake Juventus next week because what Roma will face is Atalanta so it's very difficult for Roma to top the standings, Roma's game is still weak when facing big team so it's not a big surprise for sure he will stick with his current position.
AS Roma has same points as of Juventus but they again show they don't have a good defense system. 17 conceded goals in 12 matches, 5 conceded goals in Home matches and 12 conceded goals in Away matches. Atalanta has a very powerful attack system and Roma might be beaten by Atalanta.
But sometimes I observe when Atalanta plays in a league in performance that is still not optimal while outside like the champions league, there is no doubt for me with its appearance, but I am sure with my prediction this will be an easy victory for Atalanta at home, but if reverse direction so Roma have good progress in the Serie A league and this can still be maintained.

Around the Europe, it is weird season when big clubs got troubles and top positions of major leagues are holding by many teams and they flip each other every round.

Roma won and they catch up with Juventus in the third spot now.
Told you a month ago, the 2 surprises of the season will be Roma and Milan.

Also, Torino will probably go in Serie B this year if they do not weak up, they are so bad right now.

Crotone and Torino will probably be the ones to be relegated so I think this has been a threat this season.

I am a fan of Roma and I am disappointed to see my love club has fallen too much and it also because how they treated with their legendary or home-grown players (Totti, De Rossi, and Florenzi). The win over the Torino helps Roma to move up on the table.

Torino and this win yesterday reminds me that match that marks the very last shining moments of Il Capitano for Roma. Totti scored 2 late goals and fans were crying after that. It is a crazy and emotional moment (as a fan of Roma, I can say this). Is it the time to watch that match highlight again? Link to watch it: https://www.asroma.com/en/news/2020/12/classic-match-roma-3-2-torino-2016

Do you see Mohamed Salah? In a few seasons in Roma, the shot skills of Salah is bad, he only shown his speed and dribbling skills in Roma. He grown and improved his shot skills a lot in Liverpool Smiley

I'm happy for Roma because if they continue like this they can think of winning the Italian title, but Torino is in a desperate situation, they have won only one game out of 12 played, they have the worst defense in Serie A with 30 goals conceded.
if he doesn't buy some good players in defense, I think it's very easy to go to Serie B
