For Serie A teams what I see to them is they don't really have a choice but to experiment on their former players hoping for them to be good managers. Serie A isn't really a top destination for managers who are in the Premier League or La Liga the only option they have are legendary managers that are also Italians and even them are hard to sign as they currently love their jobs in these top leagues. That's why even Juventus is taking a risk on experimenting with retired players hoping they can change them. That's the sad truth about Serie A, maybe if they reach to the point where they are really competing in the Champions League this will be the time they will attract high quality managers and also players.

Exactly, It must be admitted that the Italian league has become a boring league after Inter, AC Milan and AS Roma lost momentum to build a quality squad. It is difficult to say, if I want to speculate, the Italian team is struggling to bring in a quality coach because it is difficult to fulfill the coach's ambition to bring in the players he wants. Financial problems are faced by big teams like AC Milan, which until now have not been able to bring in a promising coach. Even though in the second half of the season after restarting the league, they performed well, but from a financial perspective they were still not doing well. The same thing happened to other clubs. So maybe this is the reason why clubs in Italy are difficult to bring in quality coaches.

I think about recruiting recently retired players as coaches is not just to take risks, but they are like making bets for luck. Of course, their prices are also much cheaper than hiring an experienced coach with a good coaching history.  Grin

The bad things for AC Milan fans is, when legendary players of AC Milan join to rival. Pirlo doesn't have experience as a manager yet, maybe what happen with Gattuso, Seedorf and Inzaghi will happen to him. But I don't know if collaboration with Nesta brings something good for Juventus. But if he failed, lot of fans will happy with the results. Not to blaming Pirlo, but to see Juventus fail to be a champions. because Serie-A need another champions now.

In order to revive Serie A, you need a lot of money. To attract strong players, very strong coaches. Without this Serie A will soon give way to other leagues. It's a very long way to the top, but it needs to be done.

Some legendary players in Italy have not yet become coaches or they even have not shown interests to be coaches, Paolo Maldini, Francesco Totti, Roberto Baggio, Alexandro Del Piero.

I remember about statement if Maldini doesn't want to become a coach, that why Maldini just become an official staff in AC Milan. But if he decided to become a manager he can learn from his father. About another, i never hear about their possibility as coach.

Andrea Pirlo rumored will bringing Alesandro Nesta to build Juventus. I don't know it will work or not. Since they are still new. About Allegri to Inter Milan, maybe they are still need time to take a decision. Even Conte can't bring scudetto for Inter, Conte doing a great job for Inter. Inter need to give conte another chance for next season

There was a time in Milan where both Nesta and Pirlo played together and from what I recalled Nesta and Pirlo was on the same team when Milan won their last Champions League Finals during 2006-2007 season. From what I can tell Nesta might be one of the best candidates out there as assistant as Nesta previously became captain of Milan shortly after Maldini retired and he has a lot of experiences both within the league and international plays. However I don't think Nesta will be prepared to adapt such a big leap going from coaching and managing a small team and then managing the top club in Serie A, he might not be able to adjust well.

And they both come from Milan. Andrea played for Juventus some seasons but got some achievements with Juventus. For Nesta who left Lazio as a captain and built up his career with Milan, is it possible for him to accept a position in Juventus. I don't know and it has not yet taken into consideration no experience of Alex on manager or coach position. Great and wise players don't mean they can be great coaches or managers.

According to many journalists here in Italy, Tuesday will be the X-Day for Inter, they will decide if continue or not with Conte.

If Conte will be sacked they probably go with Allegri, yeah another Juventus' coach (If you can't beat them, copy them).

If Allegri will not accept then they can go with Pochettino or very small chance with Sarri.

I don't find any reason why Conte should be hacked.
He returned Inter as a top class club in the world and they are competing to get European titles.
He should be part of this transformation as Inter has more room for improvement.

I doubt they will sack Conte.Even though the curse continue to him by not winning a European cup I think he have done some pretty good job at Inter. Also Romelo Lukaku even though made an own goal is the top scorer for Inter with 34 goals in the season. Now Inter is more consolidated as a team and I think with Conte they can now give a real try to win the title and beat Juventus.

Hmm I believe Inter did quite good lately, after the pause, at the opposite of many other teams, being in Europa final was good achievement and having a ticket for CL next season is something good too. I don't see why they shouldn't continue with him personally!

I also feel that Inter should keep Conte as coach, Inter Milan's results this season are not too bad. Inter Milan are second position
in Serie A and are finalists for the Europa League, but it is true that it is rumors that Inter will sack Conte. Even Conte himself
speaking to the Italian media is not sure Inter will defend himself. And a strong candidate to replace Conte is Allegri. Massimiliano
Allegri will make history if it is true that he will replace Conte, Allegri will become the first Italian coach to handle the three teams
that won the Scudetto, namely Juventus, AC Milan and Inter Milan.

@coinlocket$ I know that the media has been speculating a lot about Conte getting the sack, but it’ll be a really foolish decision from the Inter Milan board, because Conte has build a strong system in place.

Further if they appoint a new coach now then they’ll have to spend large amounts of money once again on transfers, and I don’t think that in a pandemic year they can afford to buy expensive players.

Also Allegri has a good reputation so I’ll understand why Inter Milan would be tempted to get him onboard, but it’ll cost them lots of money and destroy all the hard work that Conte has put in, and therefore I sincerely hope that they don’t sack him.

You can read this to understand his commitment and desire to win at Inter Milan:

Teams already gather together to start the preparation for the new season.

Small teams started today, big teams like Juve Milan Napoli Lazio will start at the end of this week, The only missing will be Inter since they are in the final of the Europa League.

Inter is going to be late in the preparation of the next season.
They might win the Europa League title and then the players are going to get some rest after that.
So they might start after one or two weeks.

I don't think that it will be smart from his side to leave Juventus for another team.
He is already old and he has a spot in Juventus first team which allows him to continue beating his records while being still old.
Well I assume he regrets joining Juventus in the first place and since rumors are on about joining PSG or Barcelona I think with a nice contract he will move. I don't think how solid those rumors are but Barca seems a nice place to go. For Man United? I don't think so personally

Why do you think that a move to Barcelona is going to be a good option for him?
he is already a legend for Real Madrid and he will destroy all this for just some money and a year or two playing in La Liga. Barca is still struggling with Messi, it will not be better with Ronaldo.
He should stay at Juventus...
It is an option, maybe not the best one but still a good one. A professional player could play with a team then with its rival and even score vs his original team. He c be recognised as a legend in both teams and this shouldn't be a problem.
Juve and Barca are both disappointing this year and Messi / CR7 are both disappointed too. Being kicked early from CL shows how both teams are struggling.
He will stay in Juve likely but without a real change it will be his last year there for sure. Pirlo will be tested in the first games and may get sacked if he fails. The problem now is how far could he fix the team without much money to buy new players? Same thing goes for Barcelona eventually...

Smart is not enough, there must be skills
Juventus, I believe, have taken some hasty decisions in sacking Sarri and taking Pirlo, who is in his first experience, as a new coach. I would have continued with Sarri, who won the Scudetto in his first year on the bench, this could reduce the gap with the other teams fighting for the title, plus if the news that C. Ronaldo could go away would reduce the gap even more.
No they have to change the coach, fixing the defence line and hiring new good players. Juve winning this season title was pure luck for me, I mean without the pause and Lazio dropping like that, it will be very hard to stay in the first place at least. Many shameful results against weaker teams means there is a dysfunction somewhere that needs to be fixed.
For Pirlo now, it is hard and early to say if he is a good choice or not, just like Zidane in the beginning.
Sarri was fired, there is indeed a good thing too but I think if Pirlo is appointed as coach now it's too early too because they have to change better management and are reportedly making players nervous and reducing salaries will it affect other players?
I am sure Ronaldo is a little disappointed with Pirlo's decision at this time because he has just trained to do this kind of thing, even I am not sure Pirlo will be like Zidane in the end.
