I believe they buy him for a short-term fix. It is absolute nonsense to rely on him for more than 1/2 seasons, he's 'very old' already. Yeah inter milan will keep pressing juventus to get closer to his points but inter milan must also be consistent in their goals they cannot lose when the points cannot catch up to juventus because it will be difficult if left behind again.
