The situation at Milan is very similar to Man Utd, both fallen giants so far away from their glory days. Football goes in cycles though, I’m confident they’ll both return to glory one day. It might take 10-15 years but they’ll both be back.

And you know, the situation for Milan is worse than just defeats. Milan has lost 4 of 7 matches this season. But to make the situation worse, Milan players have got 5 red cards in last 5 matches! This clearly shows how frustrated the team is right now. On the top of that, Milan is banned from playing Europa League. So even being at number 5 in table last season, Milan is not playing EL. Overall, Milan is looking like lost cause even worse than ManU.

Giampaolo has been "sacked" by Milan, not officially but is done.
The made almost a dial with Spaletti (ex Inter) but they got some problems in the end.

Today they will have a meeting with Stefano Pioli.
Is almost sure that Milan will have a new coach after the break.
Pioli? LOL  Grin  Some bookies have AC Milan to get relegated @67 odds...Just saying, with Pioli as head coach, taking that bet is basically free money hahaha

So, no AC Milan is not wrong if Stefano Pioli officially handles AC Milan.
I don't think you know who Pioli is, he isn't any better than Giampaolo, Milan are making a huge mistake by appointing him as head coach.

Spaletti, Ranieri, Rudy Garcia, Allegri, etc, a lot of good options but they decide to go for Pioli...This is proof that AC Milan does not have the budget to hire a top-class manager right now, or their board are a bunch of incompetent fools.

THISSSS!! well said! Why AC Milan didn't sign Allegri  Huh. at the beginning of this season they are in a bad situation, plus the sacking of giampaolo and replaced by Pioli. Just like Manchester United right now, AC Milan is in the wrong hands. why don't they see their neighbors who were successfully managed by the managers who have good experience in series A?

Changing managers tends to do very little and it's my suggestion that they keep the manager for a little longer, they are yet to finish the first half of the season so I think it's too early when it comes to the talk of sacking the manager, things might change mid season.

Not really if the problem is, in fact, the tactical choices. Milan's problem is not as complicated as United in the Premier League. They need a better tactician and leaders in the dressing room to lift their mood. With United, they have to do better because the problem is too complicated and changing a manager because the bad result won't likely resolve that. They need a full rebuild. Milan has to avoid being in the same condition as United, and changing the manager or at least add an assistant to assist with the tactics should be a viable option.

That's the right thing to do, their current manager is not giving good results to AC Milan and has already disappointed their fans. With the change of manager, hopefully there will be an achievement that AC Milan will get or at least they will be more competitive in Serie A to get the Serie A title.

Whoever is chosen later to replace Marco Giampaolo, that is the best choice for AC Milan. And you are right, that this change is the best step taken by the AC Milan, because they can not wait any longer to be able to get up and return to compete with the positive path.

Life, Love and Laughter...
Too bad nobody took my little side bet.  Lol.  I see a lot of people getting more confident by talking up Inter lately.  Would be nice to back up the talk with a small, friendly bet.  Grin

I think AC Milan has come out of the title race the only suitable target for them is the CL & EL zone not for title.
There is something strange in the last few matches of AC Milan almost every game AC milan players get a red card

The meeting happened with white smoke.

In the afternoon they will sign the contract according to Gazzetta https://www.gazzetta.it/Calcio/Serie-A/08-10-2019/milan-pioli-incontro-okay-imminente-l-annuncio-35090116762.shtml

So, we can say "Benvenuto" to Stefano Pioli. He was succeeded bring Juventus to be a winner of Serie-A and Intercontinental Cup in the past. I hope, he can bring AC Milan to the top in Italy and Europe as he did for Juventus.

Stefano pioli is a good coach, but I think considering AC Milan's bad position right now in the Italian league, they need someone with a higher and better pedigree. AC Milan have lost their place among the Italian elite and need to do something quick to regain it.

Milan should have gone for a coach such as Jose Mourinho, he has in the past being a champion in the Italian league, and I believe he'll bring them out of the slump, but I do not know if he'll be willing to coach AC Milan.
Anyways I wish Pioli luck, good luck!

That's a right decision and wrong on the same time.
I think that Milan's problem is the fact that they don't make any additional signings all these years. They are stagnant and the team is not strengthened.
I hope that the new coach is going to bring some fresh mentality that would influence the players to get better results.

Stefano Pioli is a good choice for AC Milan. Spalletti is likely to be a better choice for Milan given his pedigree and experience at the top level in Serie A.

Stefano Pioli has been coach of Roma and Inter and has taken the club he has managed to rank second, third, in the last four seasons.

So, no AC Milan is not wrong if Stefano Pioli officially handles AC Milan.

Not too bad if Pioli come to AC Milan, but I expected, there will be other candidates. If he was officially as AC Milan coach, I hope he can bring something different for AC Milan on tables and of course for players.

I don't think that current Inter team is strong enough to win Serie A, they need few more players to be able to compete in both CL and going for Serie A title, and in my opinion  selling Perisic was a mistake, and Lukaku didn't show much so far.
Lukaku has done his best even though he currently has a fitness problem (thigh muscle problems), but from what I have noticed that Juventus deserved to win yesterday's match, they played very relaxed and without pressure.. Juventus currently lead the Italian League standings with 1 point difference from Inter.  On (20/10/19) Juventus will play against Bologna..  if Juve wins in this match, Inter will be difficult to pursue the difference in points.
points that are not too far apart only 1 point with Intermilan, this looks competitive and that's a good thing. I remember that the previous season Juventus did not top the standings at the start of the season but when they did well in a few months they controlled the top of the league without being chased by Intermilan. that is, there is always a chance for each club to reach the top of the Serie A.

Inter are still very likely to win the Serie A title this season and so far they are able to compete. The difference in points from Juventus is only 1 point adrift, Serie A is still long. So the possibility of change will occur in the future. Inter this season is very different already with the 2018/2019 inter season.

this season is indeed a good opportunity for Inter to get the Serie A title, but Juventus are not easy to be shifted from this Serie A title hunt so whatever happens i believe this season the Serie A title race will be hotter because the points between them will not be far adrift and both have good players and coaches
